Naji was very gracious, courteous, honest about the repairs needed. He arrived at the time he gave me, explained the repairs, and was thorough. I would highly recommend him.

It went fantastic. Spring was replaced very quickly (within an hour) and the garage door functions again. He went above and beyond and lubricated the door, wheels, etc. I would highly recommend!

Naji was very responsive and professional. I sent a message through Angies list and had a call back from him within an hour or so (day after Christmas too). Further, he was able to respond same day and fix my garage door that had a broken spring. Not only did he replace the spring, he went the extra mile and lubricated the door and ensured it was running smoothly. Additionally, he inspected my second garage door and indicated a hinge wasn't installed properly as well as the cable not being aligned. He went ahead and knocked that out as well while he was there and lubed up that door too. He was awesome and I would recommend him to anyone needing garage service.

I called Thursday evening. Naji came out on Friday. He did not try to sell me anything but rather to think of ways to solve my problem until I suggested that I thought it was time to get a new opener. He encouraged me to get other estimates. He came Saturday to install the new opener and was done in an hour and a half. I would certainly use him again.

Naji was very responsive. I called him after reading another Angie's list member who said call only him. Don't waste your time on others. I called him on a Sunday and he was able to come out the next day before I had to work. His hours are amazing. They are from 7:00 am - 11:30 pm. He was on time, very efficient and willing to work with my schedule. It took him about 2 hours to install the new opener. He made sure I understood how the sensors worked and how to troubleshoot them if they were off. I did call several other companies. A1 was in the middle of 3 quotes and I felt very comfortable with him. He honored the Angie's List special for the opener and gave me a 5% discount. I will use recommend him to anyone and use him again.

I called Naji this afternoon and told him one of my springs had broken. He told me he was very busy, but could still get to me. He came at 7:30 pm after a very busy day and fixed my door. Thank you VERY much! In May of this year we had him come out and put in an opener for us (for which I did not fill out a review) and he did a quality job. This was the third time Naji has came out to my home for service on my garage door and every time he was not only professional, but also a pleasure to talk to while he worked. I HIGHLY recommend A-1 Garage Repair and I consider Naji a friend. I am a customer for life.

I called Naji and told him about my son's garage door opener that needed to be fixed. I told him what would be a good day to take a look--a day when my son would be at work. We set up the appointment for that day, and I let my daughter-in-law know when to expect Naji, and that he would call 20 minutes before he arrived. It could not have gone more smoothly. Naji checked out the door and gave my daughter-in-law several options for fixing it. She decided that the best option was a new motor which included new rails. She set up an appointment for the work to be done. Naji arrived on time, installed the new motor and rails and included new springs at no charge since the old ones had been installed incorrectly and dangerously. My daughter-in-law could not have been happier with Naji's work and his prompt, professional, and friendly service. She was able to present my son with a functioning garage door opener and new remote for his birthday, and he was thrilled. And if I need work on my garage door opener in the future, I will definitely call Naji and A-1 Garage Repair!

When our garage door failed to open completely, we discovered the right side torsion spring had broken. Looking for a local provider, I found A1 Garage Repair on Angie's List and was impressed with the reviews. I agree with a previous reviewer: STOP MAKING CALLS NOW AND USE THIS PROVIDER. I found Mr. Raji Kezel (owner) to be: TRUSTWORTHY RESPECTFUL EFFICIENT PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL Other Details and Considerations: 1) Flat rate price given up front over the phone with reasonable pricing for spring cycle upgrade. 2) No giving an inflated price upfront then discounting the initial quote with coupons, waived fees, or other tactics designed to give you the impression you are getting a "deal" when you are really getting dealt a bad hand, like another provider I had quote. My philosophy: If you don't give me your best price up front, you've lost my trust. 3) The owner was out the same day to ensure he would have all the necessary supplies. Because I wanted an upgraded spring, we have a heavy insulated door that gets a lot of use, he was out the very next day with the upgraded springs to make the repair. 4) Impeccable clean up. Could never tell anyone had been working in our garage. 5) Above and Beyond: Lubricated the rollers, bearings, and door hinges. Also greased the screw that extends from the motor to the door. All at no additional charge. Also instructed me how I could do this myself every six months to extend the life of the system and its parts. 6) As an Angie's List Member, I received an additional 5% discount off of the already competitive $220 quote.

Naji was great. I wish we could always work with someone as courteous, professional, caring, and knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about our interactions. The replacement part he purchased was defective and he had to deal with a troublesome dealer, but kept me up to date on what was going on and timing. The installation took longer than we expected, but that was fine since he kept informed on the status, worked with me, drove out to get a new part, and took care of the installation. Nothing bad to say about him or his company!

I called Naji on a Thursday night and told him my Father-in-Law's garage door opener was broken. He he said he could fit in the repair the NEXT DAY, which was great. He arrived at the house when he said he would. He gave an estimate for repairing the existing opener or installing a new one. We decided to install a new one. The whole thing went very well.

Responsiveness, service and quality were excellent. Technician called me back the day I bought the voucher through Angie's List and we scheduled service for the next morning. He showed on time, and had the repairs completed within an hour. I have had no trouble with my garage door since. He told me some details regarding my garage door I did not know. It has been running smoother than it ever has since I bought my house. Highly recommend their services. The price for such a hazardous job was excellent IMO as well.

I called this company based on their good reviews and I wanted someone that would do the repair in the evening. I contacted them through email and promptly received a reply. They were able to complete the repair the next day. They arrived within the scheduled time frame and called me half an hour before arrival. The repair and tune-up were done in less than an hour. I would definitely hire this company again and recommend them to others.

Great. I generally don't write a lot of reviews, but this company was extremely professional and reliable. I called on a Sat at 2pm (figured I couldn't get anyone out until Monday earliest), and they came on a Sat a 7:30! They were on time and did a great job. A++++

I could not be happier with the new garage door opener that Naji installed! Naji did a great job, he was on time, professional and everything is working perfect.

Naji contacted me within an hour of purchasing the deal on Angie's list. He came out for pre-inspection, and then came back as scheduled to install everything Sunday morning. He is incredibly polite, ensured all of the equipment works, and then cleaned any fingerprints up from the work he did. Great job. I now a few neighbors are already looking at his work and I hope he gets more business from the work he did here.

The initial service was scheduled through a sub contractor who showed up late. A1 Garage contacted me for a full service apt to make up for the first appt. The owner was very considerate and wanted to ensure I was completely satisfied with the services received. He was very nice and the service was very efficient.

I called A-1 on 5/7/2015 late-morning because I was having problems with my garage door closing. When I called, Naji answered the phone and I explained my problem to him. He told me that he could come to my house between 7 and 7:30 pm that evening to look at it. The technician arrived promptly at 7:15pm and it was Naji himself. After looking at my door and the sensors, he concluded that there must have been a spider web or something blocking the sensors. The door worked perfectly, and he explained what I needed to do the next time the door would not close. I then told him that I was interested in the garage door tune-up service he was offering on the "Big Deal" to maintenance my door and change out the rollers. Naji told me that my garage door equipment and rollers were fine and that it would be a waste of money to replace them. My wife and I were VERY impressed with his punctuality, professionalism and honesty. It was so refreshing to have someone be honest enough to tell me that there was no need to do the service that I planned on having performed. I asked him for a ball-park figure on the cost of a new opener and door so I could save up the money and be prepared for when the inevitable happens in the years to come. Naji recommended an opener and a door and gave me an approximate price so I can be planning ahead. I will DEFINITELY be calling him anytime I need any kind of Garage Door service. Friday night I heard a loud boom. I didn't know what it was. Saturday morning, my wife tried to open the garage door to go to the grocery. It didn't go up. When I looked, the spring in the middle had snapped. I called 2 places. One estimate was a minimum of $275 for the first hour and then $30 for each 15 minutes after that. The estimate that I received from Naji was $129.00 for a single spring door and he could be out within the hour. He came out, he fixed the door in about 45 minutes and knocked off 5% for being an Angie's List member. He was fast, courteous, and his price was spot on. I would highly recommend him.

Was leaving the house, when the garage door began to close it make a bit of a creaking noise and became skewed on the tracks. I tried to open the door backup (you should NOT do this), which made the problem worse. I called A1 Garage Repair, they answered I spoke with Naji, he quickly made an appointment to look at my door within the next two hours. He called me when he was 20 minutes out, and arrived when he had promised. He looked at my door, noted the damage, explained what he needed to do, and gave me both an estimate for cost and time. He also determined that the door did not need replacing, though it was old. After 2 hours of work my door was repaired and Naji walked me through his work and had me test the door with him. An efficient and great experience. This is my second time using A1 Garage Repair (last time was at my previous home). I would use them again!
