A1 Garage Repair

I called Naji at 7:30 on Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend. They closed at 8:00 so I was just hoping to get something scheduled for the next few days. Naji was finishing a job on the other side of town but said he would stop by when he was finished. By 9:00, he had the springs replaced and the garage door working perfectly. He was extremely friendly and very professional. The price was very fair; especially for working after hours on a holiday weekend. I will be calling him with any future work on my garage door.

Called at 8:30 am on Saturday and Naji said he could give me an appointment for 1 -2 pm that afternoon. It came and went and he called about 2:15 to apologize for not calling to let me know that he was running behind but they were on their way here. He gave me the price and then how much with the 5% discount for Annie list they went even lower because they were late. Had him do the work took about half hour. Asked him about other work that would need done in the future he gave me prices which seemed resonble. Him and his helper were friendly and would use them again.

Arrived in a few hours with all the needed parts. Quick and courteous service. Reasonable price. Angie's list discount. I'm very pleased and highly recommend A1 Garage Repair.

Excellent. The technician was early, had all of the tools and parts he needed, and completed the job quickly. He left the site clean and had a positive attitude and close attention to detail.

Very happy with the work. I've never had to hire someone to do a repair around the house. I know nothing about garage door springs. I came to Angie's list and this is the first company that came up under garage door repair. I'm glad it was. He was very polite and new exactly what was needed. He even came out on a Sunday to repair the door. After the spring was fixed I asked him about the light sockets and what I should do to fix them. He went ahead and repaired them with no extra charge. Like I said, very happy with the work and the cheapest in Columbus, Ohio. Will definitely recommend to anyone needing garage door work done.

Naji came out the day after my call and knew immediately what the problem was. He fixed the light sockets and charged a very reasonable price. I'd certainly call A-1 for any future garage door opener issues.

The tech came out on a Saturday morning within an hour or so of initially calling him. He was fabulous.

Naji is a great guy. He came the same day I called. He called me ahead of time with eta for arrival. Immediately, Naji knew what was needed to fix the door and get it back to normal. He made some further adjustments to get it running smoothly. When I decide to upgrade my garage doors down the road, I am calling on Naji to do the installation. If I need any repairs until that time, again, I will be coming to Naji. He's earned my trust and loyalty.

Naji was wonderful! He was professional, respectful, friendly, prompt, and very responsive to our questions and concerns. He was honest and up front for the type of older door system we have and provided valuable recommendations should we choose to upgrade in the future. He originally came out on Wed 6/22/16 after work/evening hours, which was appreciated, to review and repair the door. Given our very old style of door and type of cabling needed that snapped, Naji had to return the following evening to finish the job. He was very prompt on both evenings (provided a text about 20-30 minutes prior to arrival), quick to assess and repair, and a pleasure to meet. I highly recommend his company and services for any type of garage door service. 5 star all the way - thank you again Naji!

Called A1 on this morning 7/2/2016 at approximately 8:15 AM after discovering that the spring on my garage door had broken. Call was answered by live person who stated they can be out between 10:00 - 11:00 AM. We received call, from Mr. Naji, about 10:15 stating he was 20-25 minutes away. Upon arrival Mr. Naji looked at the garage door, analyzed the problem, and stated the price would be a flat rate of $129 for one spring, parts and labor. Mr. Naji was very courteous and respectful even expressing how many times he would have to pass through my house (3 feet between the front door and the internal garage from the house). Mr. Naji informed me that we had an option of replacing 1 spring with 2 and the pros and cons of doing it along with a price. Really appreciated him sharing that option. We opted to stick with the one spring. Mr. Naji completed job within 1 hour even with the challenge of working in a tight space due to the fact that both cars were in the garage. We were very pleased with the prompt response, the reasonable price, and the professionalism demonstrated by Mr. Naji. Additionally, Mr. Naji honored the 5% coupon listed on his site and informed me of the 5 year warranty extended to Ange's List members.

Sent in an online message on a Saturday morning, received a quick phone call back, arrived a couple hours later and work was completed. Was very happy with the service I received.

I called them at noon; technician arrived at 6pm. Replaced spring on a one-car garage in half an hour. Left some oily fingerprints on door, but cleaning up was easy.

I called them on Saturday, and Shawn came out on Sunday to fix our garage door. He did an awesome job on the repair, was very efficient and double checked everything when he was done. Extremely honest and straight forward. Even lowered the price because the spring he quoted me over the phone was more expensive than the one I actually needed. I would never consider using a different company for my garage door needs.

I was having issues with my garage door openers working sporadically especially in the past two months. I also had the wiring on one of the sensors break. I called A1 on Wednesday 5/25 and they came out at 6pm to look at my garage door. Shawn said that the circuit boards tend to fail over time as the openers get older and that is why mine was only working sporadically. He suggested a new opener and even told me A1 was running a special for $360 for a new Liftmaster. A1 came out the next morning and installed the new opener really quickly. It's amazing how quiet the new one is. I would hire A1 again in a heartbeat.

Quick response to our request for an estimate. Very helpful in explaining products. Returned within a few days to install new door and opener. Professional and pleasant. We are very happy with the service we received and will recommend this company to others.

When we activated our garage door opener, the door went up a few inches, then the opener tore off the bracket which attaches to the door. The door was much heavier than normal when opening it manually. I called and described the problem and was told the springs had probably broken, causing the opener to apply too much force to the bracket. They came out on a Sunday for no additional charge and replaced the spring and re-installed a more rugged bracket, as well as replaced the rollers. Everything was completed in about an hour and a half. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff that accepted the Angie's List coupon without hesitation.

What is most impressive about this is the follow-up to solve our problem. Most contractors would have just said that the problem wasn't their fault and would have just ignored it. I can't say enough about what a good job he does. THANK YOU!

I called A1 Garage Repair on the evening of 4/28/16 and they scheduled with me for the following day. Nagi's came at the appointed time and replaced a broken torsion spring within 40 minutes or so. He would have been done sooner but he also fixed some of the install mistakes of my garage door made by my home builder. His costs for service was more than reasonable considering another repair company told me they wouldn't touch it for less than $200, I even offered to tip Nagi for his services but he declined. He will be the first person I call if I am ever in need of garage door repair.

Besides being punctual, friendly and finishing quickly, the installers work was top notch. The parts they needed to cut and fit came together as if it had all been installed at the factory. First rate job and the least expensive of the three quotes we got.

Naji is great! Our garage door spring broke last night. I called at 8:00 am this morning. He told me he could come out between 10:30 and 11:30 this morning. He called as he was on his way. When Naji got here, he explained that both of the springs needed fixed, and provided me with the price ($190, but it came out to $180.50 with the Angie's List discount). Naji fixed the problem quickly, and now our garage door works again. I would definitely give Naji our business in the future and would refer him to our neighbors.

Naji called in advance of arriving and showed up right on time. He got right to work, replaced both torsion springs in 25 minutes and was on his way. He is very professional and will answer any questions you may have. I have and will recommend A1.

We had some wind that knocked the door off track. I emailed on Saturday evening not expecting a response until Monday morning. To my surprise I got a call in less than 30 minutes and an appointment was set up for Sunday to give us an estimate. Naji came to the house on Sunday morning, looked things over, added some screws to the track and did not charge anything for his services. He was very professional, did not try to oversell me anything. I would highly recommend using this company for all your garage door needs.

Came home on a Friday night to find the garage door would not open. After discovering the spring was broken, I called A1, and Naji answered. He promised to come out the next day (Sat.) at 11am. Naji installed a better quality spring than the prior one. I loved that Naji was punctual and professional. We will definitely use A1 for any future garage door needs.

I called this provider on the morning of 1/11/16 and was scheduled for that evening. Naji, who performed the work, was quite possibly the most polite and courteous provider I've ever dealt with. He was extremely professional and willing to share his knowledge with me when I asked him questions about issues related to the repair but not within the scope of work. The work was completed efficiently and he even took the extra step of adding a stronger bracket as well as lubricating all of the wheels, hinges and other moving parts. I will not use anyone else but Naji for future garage door-related needs.
