Mike is always very responsive. He also works with you as far as when you are available. He will gladly check your trees and do work when you aren't there and settle up later. He has also stopped by before when I've had concerns at no charge. Regarding the ash trees, he thought they could be saved with treatment. Sent the tech out to do the work and she was great. It was a more involved process than I thought (even though he explained it - I can be dense) and she took care of both trees and answered my questions. Later in the year, MIke sent his crew to trim the dead out, as we agreed. He was here to supervise them and again, great job. I have absolute trust in his knowledge and experience and his crews have always done a fantastic job.

He communicated when they were planning to plant but had to re-schedule due to unforeseen circumstances which was fine because he planted the day we both selected.

Went great, Mr. Donley came out and gave me an estimate and then was able to come three weeks earlier to do the work. The work was done while I was at work and everything was finished and cleaned up when I got home. Great Service and very reasonable price for the amount of work.

I would not use anybody else. They trim the trees nice. Donley is knowledgeable and educated. He's an arborist, I think. He provides only the services needed unlike others who wanted to treat unnecessary things. So far, we don't have ash borers.

As always, great service from Donley Complete Tree Care. We had used them previously for removal of several cottonwoods that were too close to our house and this new work was to set in place several maples and oaks, of fairly decent size. Mr. Donley did a nice job for us, running around to various nurseries to give us a range of trees to select from that were suitable for the area. His crew is hard-working and does fine work.

These guys mean it with their name when they say COMPLETE. First Mr. Donley contacted the owner in the adjacent cornfield to get permission for us to utilize a small stretch needed to keep our yard from getting marred up (there was still corn in the field). Then it was a small efficient army that showed up and did everything to our great satisfaction. And in our case, we kept having some serious mission creep throughout the process of determining what needed done--that would have driven me crazy if I were Mr. Donley-who's very hands-on. Not only did the scope of what needed done constantly change, so did the timing, and they were extremely flexible in coming out when we needed in order to get the property ready for a fence being built. When they left, the yard was a heckuva lot better than when they got there.

Mike came out to look at our very sick silver maple. He said that while it could be saved, it would probably never fill out and look right again. Too much of the 7 year old tree had died out for an unknown reason. We then discussed replacement options and cost. Based on the location relative to our house, he recommended a tree that would not grow as tall or quickly as this maple. We agreed on a tree and price and he put me on the schedule for couple weeks out, which was fine with me. He looked over our ash tree and also agreed to do a minor trim on it for the same price. He put me onto a commercial product for me to treat my ash tree to hopefully prevent emerald ash borer's from taking it, instead of upselling me to an annual maintenance plan through them. I'm not used to many service providers giving out free advice as he did. Mike replaced the tree, and I was expecting a huge mess from the digging. Too my surprise, no mess, no ruts, even the grass and sidewalk were for all intents, clean. Moreover, they managed to save the landscaping surrounding the old tree, and didn't even break up the brick tree ring! Mike followed up with me regarding watering and care instructions for this fall and next year, again great service. As it was done at the end of the season, the leaves soon fell off. This spring I'm looking forward to seeing our new tree, hopefully with leaves - unlike the maple it just replaced. Mike Donley is a true pro who cares about his customers. Needless to say, any other tree needs I have in the future will result in a call to Donley's Complete Tree Care.

Mike Donley was hands on. Visited our home while his crew was performing the work. The crew was clean cut, courteous and professional. The best arborist experience we've ever had in over 40 years of home ownership.

Excellent. Took less time than I anticipated. Very courteous crew. They even ground out an old stump that didn't have anything to do with the three trees. Crew was very well equipped with the right machines for the job.

Vendor was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry. Provided proof of liability insurance when I asked. Arrived on time. Cleaned up the site properly prior to departing.

This is the second time in two years I have used Mike Donley's tree service. Mr. Donley came to the house to look at the trees, and provided me with a estimate by e-mail within a few days as promised. The work was scheduled to occur about two weeks later. The work was delayed by one day due to extreme weather. The crew showed up as scheduled and worked almost continuously through the entire day despite some fairly chilly weather conditions. They were exceedingly efficient at removing the trees and removed large tree limbs and trunks without damaging the house or anything in the yard. They did a great job cleaning everything up when they finished the job. One of my neighbors, who also saw the crew take down the trees, was also amazed by their efficiency. I would definitely use their services again.

Terrific! My husband and I are thrilled with the professionalism, promptness and quality of the work done. Mike Donley is wonderful to work with and quick to respond to your calls. We were pleased with the fair price for the huge amount of work done. The workers did a great job on cleanup. The two new trees (included in the price) were about 9 and 12 ft tall...not the saplings I figured it would be. We will heartily recommend Mike Donley and his team to all our friends and family and will definitely call him again. We are so glad we found this company on Angie's list!!

It didn't go, he never even showed up to do an estimate. My house is less than 2 miles from his office, so distance shouldn't have been an issue. Just not professional at all.

Working with Mike was super easy. He was always prompt - at the initial consultation, responding to emails and the actual date the work was performed. Mike accomodated changes to the removal date b/c our closing was pushed out a few weeks. The crew worked all day and cleaned up the property at the end of the job. We would definitely use Donley Tree again and would recommend them to our friends.

They were wonderful to work with. One of the things I really liked is that they hauled all of the waste away. They really took their time and dug down deep to get rid of as much of the stump as possible. They were very cautious, which I appreciated. They marked areas off so that my neighbors and their children would know to stay away. I originally had them out to evaluate the tree because it was diseased. He explained the process of saving the tree and the cost associated. As well as the cost and process for removing the tree. Mike Donley was great to work with. He put a lot of time into his bid and answered all of my questions. He was very thorough and detailed. He did a great job with the clean up, he brought enough people to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner. They had the whole tree removed in 1 day.
