Great. Very professional and candid communications - I liked that.

Mike went to look at the tree within a week of my call. He gave assessment as to the weakening of the tree but could survive as to being a healthy tree. Another heavy wind storm could possibly weaken the tree branches causing to fall. I requested estimate as I did not want to chance myself or a new owner to experience this situation. Within the next week (much sooner than expected), Mike and his crew came and cut down the large tree, cleaned away ALL the debris, and removed the stump. I am extremely happy with Donley's services; quick response; professional manner; organization; and most of all...the price. Thank you, Mike and crew. I highly recommend their services!!!!

We have not had the tree looked at in a few years. Mike came over and told us it looks fine for now - and that the best time to do trimming work would be spring. He recommended that we cable the split trunk so that it will not break due to wind or heavy snow. He also recommended against stringing lights on the tree as it could do damage and interfere with growth and maintenance. (His opinion carried more weight than mine, apparently). We will have him back in the spring to work on this and our other trees. We later learned that he cares for one of our neighbor's trees as well and they are very happy with him. There was no charge for the visit.

Unbelievable. Mike is a true professional. I called him and requested he come out to see if my Willow tree was salvageable. He always returned my calls. One of the calls I received from him was him telling me he already came out to my house and took a look at the tree. I really appreciated that he did that. He went out of his way for no charge to look at my tree. The weather was probably nasty outside, too. He told me that the tree is a total loss and cut it up. He did suggest leaving the stump as the tree would naturally regrow. I'll do that, along with attempting to plant some branches near the pond it once stood. I'll definitely call this company in the event of future tree service needs. Thank you!

After a couple of communications (phone message, email) we got an estimate and told Mike to go ahead. The work was performed two weeks ahead of schedule, even with the deluge of tree work after hurricane Ike in September, because they had "finished work on this side of town early." Professional work, good cleanup, pleasant to do business with.

We were really pleased with their service. They came out and removed some tree's that were damaged in a wind storm. They did a great job and we liked them so much that we are going to call them back to do more work. I would recommend them to everyone.

The house had curb appeal once more. I didn't realize how much the trees and shrubs were overgrown until Mike came. The yard looks neat and tidy now. The work was conducted as contracted and within the time scheduled and all debris was removed. The work was schedule right before hurricane Ike came through and the did not delay when the work was done (which was surprising).

They removed a tree that was damaged during a storm. The tree lost one large branch and was starting to split. Great service, came on time and cleaned up before they left.

I called him about a tree I wanted him to look at. He said he would call me back in a couple of weeks when he would be doing work on our street. A couple of weeks later he left a message on our voicemail letting us know he stopped and looked at our tree. He also gave us his opinion on it. I returned his message and he then returned mine. He was very courteous and enthusiastic about trees. He is very service oriented too.

They really did a great job. I am totally satisfied.

Mike and his crew were AWESOME. They were here for three days and did a delightful job! He always returned calls the same day, and his price was competitive with other companies that gave use estimates. His knowledge of trees is exceptional, and he even offered suggestions of things we could do to preserve our trees. I felt safe with him working on our property, even around high power lines.

Called for an estimate and was told they do not have the time for an open time frame project. I didn't want to give a low grade since they at least told the truth that they were maxed out. Seemed nice enough, just too busy I guess.

This is about the 3rd time that I have had them to take trees down. I get better prices from him then anybody. He took 3 trees out close to a build and he didn t even hit the building. One of the dead trees had a Maple next to it and he asked if I wanted to keep the Maple, I did and he actually got to save it, I didn t think that he would be able to since it was about 3 feet away from the dead tree. I have been really pleased with his work. He is very timely, gets right back to you. He cleans things up well after he is done!

Mike came out and gave us an estimate and we decided to hire him. Hurricane Ike hit and they called to let us know that they would be delayed for our work about three weeks, confirming that this was okay. We were in no hurry. They did a very professional job and cleaned up the debris. In fact, they cleared some remaining debris we had from Ike without additional charge. We will hire them again!

It was an excellent experience. Tom came out to provide an estimate within 3 days of our preliminary call. We were on vacation when we received a call from Tom that he was able to get to our house early and asked if he could do it while we were gone. We came home to our yard looking terrific.

He was very professional and he and his staff did an outstanding job. The clean up was wonderful, I did not have to clean up anything. They did a great job and I will use him again.

It was a great experience. Mike called me back promptly, arrived on time, and completed the task in just a couple of hours. He and his crew were very thorough and cleaned up any mess. Mike even gave me tips on how to care for a new tree that I'd just planted two years prior. I asked if I'd need to have these trees trimmed again the following year, he honestly told me that I could go a few years in between. That ends up saving me money and that's greatly appreciated. Will definitely call him again when I need tree service.

Pretty quick response time considering the amount of work generated from the wind storm. Very polite. Used them before with good results.

They arrived on time, removed the pine tree and replaced it with another tree. They also planted some other trees and bushes. They cleaned up their mess. Mike Donley was there to help and supervise. He explained what we needed to do to care for our new trees and made suggestions for flowers to plant around them. After about 5 months our Oak tree wasn't looking so good so I called Donley Tree Service. Mike came out within a week and planted another Oak tree. It looks great!

He did a great job. He has a great website. The price that he gave me was reasonable. He was very kind and friendly. He was really good about cleaning up after himself and I would use him again in the future. I would highly recommend him.

We had called 6 other companies until we got a hold of Donley Tree Service. Mike came on the Saturday after the storm, which we really appreciated. Other companies said they could come in mid October. The work took them just over 2 hours. Everything went fantastic with one minor problem. One of the workers on the roof accidentally knocked off a chunk of wood that fell and hit our grill. Fortunately, there was minimal damage to the grill. Mike handled it very professionally and instead of charging us the $800-$900 that the job should have cost, he only charged us $500. We were pleased. They also hauled away all the debris and cleaned up very well. I would hire them again without any reservation.

We originally searched this company, and had left message for tree trimming at a new residence. Before receiving a response, the "wind storm" blew through Ohio. We had a tree limb 30 ft. up that needed cut down at our old residence. When we finally reached the company, they stated that while it normally would cost about $50 to remove the branch, that under "the circumstances" they were charging a minimum of $400 for the "smallest job." We find this completely unprofessional and a blatant abuse of other potential persons in need (we eventually cut down the branch ourselves). Needless to say, they lost the "bigger" job of maintaining/trimming our mature trees at our new residence on a long term basis, and I would not recommend that others utilize their services in the future.

When Mike heard that our house was being compromised by the weight of the tree (which has already crushed the attic and deck), he came out the same day he was called (despite the fact that everyone else needed tree service!), and promised he'd be there with his crew the next morning. By 7:00 AM the next day, he was there with a huge bucket truck and crane. It was a difficult removal as the tree had fallen from a hilly ravine, and was suspended over the house. Not only did they get the tree off the house, they also brought a chipper so all of the branches were shredded, and he even used a blower to clean off the roof and gutters. Except for unavoidable tracks left in the grass, (and of course, the hole in the roof) one would not know a tree had fallen when they left.

I had used Mike before for edging and tree removal. In this instance he came to my house the Tuesday after the remnants of Hurricane Ike and the windstorm. I called him the Monday after the storm (the storm hit Sunday) I had one tree down. He shared he couldn't give me an estimated time due to all the fallen trees. He came next day, took care of the tree, gave me some suggestions re: a replacement tree, and went to his other appointments - it took about 15 minutes. He hadn't scheduled me but fit me in as he was driving toward a "big" job. During a storm and damage like this, I just didn't expect that kind of responsiveness. I've used Mike before and I'll definitely use him again. I did not ask for a quote as I needed the tree removed - he charged me the same prince he had in the past. It's probably the only time I've worked on a verbal agreement with a service provider.
