Husney’s Landscape & Irrigation

This was a great experience. Jeff , the owner, was very professional and runs his business with the customer in mind. The crew he sent out, Jim and Kevin, was professions; skilled, hard-working and very knowledgeable. Our back year never looked better!!! We have contracted with this company to do two summer clean ups too!!

The experience was very good. I have a few flowers that are just barely coming out of the ground and he knew what kind of flowers they were just by looking at the tips of them. He was punctual, gave me suggestions and answered my questions.

They didn?t communicate as much as I would?ve liked them to, but they did address the issues that arose during the course of the work. They still have to come back in the spring and fix something that they had forgotten to do. I trust that they will come back and do it since they were pretty highly rated on Angie?s List.

They do a great job. They are very honest about the situation you are in, and try to find the best solution for you. The quality of the work is great, and they try to assure you do not pay more than you need to. You might be able to find somebody a little cheaper, but they are great to work with and we could not be happier with them.

They came out and did just what they said that they were going too. The technician was a nice guy. They charged me for the full hour which I expected. He spent the first part of the hour doing the repair and the second half going over the rest of the system. I was impressed with how he spent the time. The prices were fine by me. They were punctual for the appointment and they did a good job with the work.

This was the first time we have used them and we were very pleased. The workmen were prompt, efficient and very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure having them here. I will definitely hire them again.

The owner Jeff Husney called twice to follow up. He was very friendly and helpful.

It went very well; I had assessed my entire system and knew where work was probably necessary, in addition to the obvious damaged sprinkler head that prompted me to action. The review of the entire system was informative and thorough and I was there the entire time. The options that were presented to me were effective and economical. The specifics of the repairs were discussed and the work was then conducted in a focused and complete manner. I was pleased to find that changes that I wanted were reasonable to implement and reasonably completed in both time and cost. The cost was very reasonable; although I did not ask for a detailed estimate before the work was started, I had enough experience to grossly estimate the cost and we had discussed the cost of various hardware pieces that we needed. And, very importantly, the reviews on Angie's list gave me enough confidence to more forward with the cost information I had at my disposal. The job was completed within 3 hours and the cost was nominally $250 for time and parts, all factors are within what I would expect as "industry standards."

They were very professional, very punctual, and very responsive. Their price was great. I would use their service in the future.

The technician arrived on time and resolved the issue to our complete satisfaction. I was so happy that I signed annual maintenance contract with them. I highly recommend Husney's for the quality of work and professionalism.

Nothing but promptness from the initial phone call to scheduling appointment. Technician arrived promptly as scheduled, was very neat and was professional in his work. Tested entire sprinkler system, and prior to making any repairs, explained to me the problem and what was needed to repair. Discovered an underground leak in my system that could only be detected via his vast experience. Relocated one station approximately 3 feet in order to overcome overgrown foliage without compromising any grounds to be covered.

Excellent experience. Office staff was nice and informative. I was able to set up an appointment quickly and relatively soon. The technician was prompt, thorough and professional. I will definitely use them again!

They are a very good company. We've had no trouble.

When the service technician arrived he said they never informed him of the repair request and that he only had time to handle the shutdown. I explained that my goal in having both done at the same time was to avoid a separate charge for an additional service call. He was very rude and said he only had time for the shutdown. I asked him if I would be charged if I canceled the appointment right now he said I would not. I canceled the appointment and will never use Husney again. He drove over the corner of my lawn as he was leaving.

Very Good! The owner came out surveyed the system did and analysis of several thing that could have been the problem and recommended a fix, that we accepted and fixed the problem.

Dan was very professional. He explained everything involved and answered any questions I had. He seemed very knowledgeable. He spent approximately 30 minutes just coming up with a design plan which was very detailed. Compared to other estimates we received he seemed to put the most effort into it. We did end up choosing someone else but he would have been our next choice. We basically chose the other company because we felt they would cause less disruption to the lawn during installation. The price per zone was about the same as the other company. He also mentioned that he had installed the system in the house across from us but we did notice some brown areas in their lawn. Not sure if that is from system design or homeowners fault.

After our home remodel last year, I searched "the list" and found the Husney Companies. The landscaping that they have done to repair the devastation of construction, is amazing! They also completely reworked our irrigation system on our large, sloping lot. We had previously been told by other companies that it would be impossible to achieve effective irrigation with our existing water pressure and the varying elevations that needed serviced. Husney, however, has installed a system that has worked flawlessly for two summer seasons, with adequate pressure to use household water while irrigation is underway. Ingenious design, outstanding expertise, and professional maintenance. They have provided the beautiful, lush landscape that I have always dreamed of. They really are the best.

Explained situation about muddy back yard to Dan and he quickly knew it was not the type of work he performed. So, he provided me with another Angie's List contractor who does perform the work I'd requested, which was extremely helpful in my contractor search! I truly appreciated the extra time and effort made by Dan to ensure that I found what I needed.

Arrived within the two hour time range specified the three times they were at my house to provide service. Technicians were friendly, patient with questions and thorough in their work. Provided a lot of helpful hints regarding my sprinkler system. Overall it was an excellent experience!

They were the first ones that could get to me. He showed up on time and fixed the problem.
