Description of Work: I submitted a request for estimate via their website the Friday before Labor Day, not expecting to hear back from them until after the holiday. To my surprise Tom responded that same day and offered to come to my property on Sunday or Monday of the holiday weekend. I told him I would be out of town, but he could come anyway, and I described in detail what I wanted done, so that the estimate would be accurate for my expectations. He emailed me the estimate Sunday evening, and I was very pleased with it. I contacted another company to come out for an estimate and they were a no-show, so I decided to go with Fowler. We had one delay due to bad weather, so he rescheduled for a Saturday, and ended up coming alone to do all of the work. The scope of work was to cut down one tree; deadwood & shape another; cut back all of the honeysuckle and other bushes that were spilling over my fence from the neighbor's yards on two side; cut back more honeysuckle and scrub-brush growing that had grow up around a culvert in my back yard, and to cut back 2 more honeysuckle bushes along the property line in my front yard. He arrived at 9am, I had to leave until about 1pm, when I returned the trees were done, and he was fininshing up the fence line. About 4pm he completed everything--the yard had been thoroughly cleaned up--including most of the leaves, which was an added bonus! He even took away the sticks & branch debris that was piled up from when I did a bit a trimming earlier in the summer. Yard looks great, price was very reasonable, and he was very friendly --couldn't ask for a better experience!

Description of Work: I signed up for the tree health/risk assessment deal through Angie's List. It took a bit of tag to arrange an appointment, but Tom as professional and courteous. That being said, I'm not entirely sure what I was paying for, other than what wound up being a glorified estimate for tree pruning/cleanup. I have subsequently had other free estimates for tree pruning that I got just as much information from.

Description of Work: I purchased their half-off deal on Angie's List. The owner called me almost immediately. Work had to be scheduled several weeks out due to their busy work load; this was no problem for me as it wasn't urgent. They cut down 7 dead ash trees (some small). Neat and professional. Knew what they were doing. I felt like I received very good value and service.

Description of Work: I bought $500 worth of service for $249. I got an estimate to cut down 2 trees but not grind the stumps for $500. I accepted that and asked if they would clear a pile of many large branches as well. That estimate was $150. So for the $400 including tax I got around $650 worth of service. Fowler gave my neighbor an estimate of $750 to cut down one of her trees. She thought that was high.

Description of Work: out bought big deal to have tree trimmed. met with tom fowler and he explained what needed to be done. he was very helpful. the following day I found out we were transfered and moving so I didn't need the service.
