Description of Work: They were contracted to trim 2 trees in backyard and to trim all the dead branches. The first tree they did a good job. The second tree, that had the most dead branches, not so good. It seems they did not trim very much of the second tree and they appeared to have left most of the dead branches intact on the tree. They also fertilize our trees and shrubs. Very happy with that service.

Description of Work: They removed two huge white oaks in a difficult to reach spot it into historic homes. I would not use anyone else for the for a difficult job. Amazingly, the flowerbeds where the trees were located were left almost exactly as they found them.

Description of Work: Kyle (the Arborist) was punctual, professional and answered all of my questions about the proposed job. Davey provided excellent documentation and a complete quote for the proposed pruning of three trees (two maples and a cherry). We received multiple quotes from different service providers for this job. Davey's quote was competitive and their availability was good. Davey was definitely "in the running," we simply went with a company someone we knew directly had used/recommended.

Description of Work: Removal of two-story giant juniper; removal of two one-story high huge junipers. Removal of mugo pine. Replacement of landscape with agreed-upon plants. Replaced with highest quality plant materials - new dogwood, boxwoods, yew. Regraded area near house to slope away. Very professional. Minor miscommunication resolved very quickly. Excellent, large, healthy plant materials. Very knowledgeable and responsive project managers. Would use again when large plants and trees involved. Pricey, but worth it for large projects requiring expertise.

Description of Work: Their service is outstanding! |During a bad thunder/lightning storm, our 150 yr old red oak tree lost a |18" diameter limb. It landed on our lawn, across the sidewalk & tree lawn. |The sales rep from Davey Tree came out to review our situation. Was able to quote with a few minutes, the cost of removing the dropped limb, yard cleanup, going up into the tree to chain saw where the limb snapped, & apply a tree bandage dressing to the new cut, to prevent wilt disease. |The sales rep would schedule the crew to do the job the following week. |But, the following day the crew was at my home, & completed the job in a few hours. |The sales rep., scheduled the crew the following day! He thought the job needed immediate attention, since the tree limb was over the sidewalk. |All the employees from Davey Tree were pleasant, & professional. It isn't |very often that you see employees working "together as a team". |Yes, Davey Tree will "always" service our needs.
