Description of Work: Great prompt service from Sal's Heating & Cooling! Technician came out the same day that we placed call because AC was down. He replaced 10 year old blower that wasn't working properly and also did $59 17-Point A/C Inspection and Tune-Up. AC works great now and we anticipate getting several more years from current system. Another company (whose technicians receive sales commissions) had wanted to completely replace the AC and furnace for over $5,000 instead!

Member Glad we got all A's! Thanks for the kind words. This promotion was one of the best for Angie's list members and because of that we sold many! Which with any severely discounted DEAL and in this case working equipment we must perform these smart and keep the service men close to the next customer. This summer was very hard to offer this deal because of the record heat and we had many emergencies with elderly and health issue customers. Most companies would not even dream of trying this promo in the summer because they simply could not handle it or do it in the off season. I hope that explains. I guess if you insisted we would make special accommodations but don't tell anyone...lol Thanks for the business! Sal

Overall it went very well.
Description of Work: Mike and Josh installed an A/C and Furnace. They were on time, very nice, efficient and very clean. They explained how to work the thermostat and clean the A/C. I asked about a service contract and Josh explained it to us. There was NO pressuring sales pitch to sell the service contract. After they left, you did not even know someone was here for 2 days to install the A/C and Furnace.

Description of Work: 17 point air conditioner tune up. I had to purchase the filter from the comapany since I didn't know which kind I had. My furnace is up in the attic and I can't get up there due to a health issue. I thought the filter was a little high priced. And I bought the coupon for $59.00. The gentleman was very nice and found his way up and I really didnt't talk to him until he wrote up the invoice.

I assume we are once again speaking of an exact appointment? I don't consider this a weak point. Again we call on the way, We can't get anymore accurate then that. The days of waiting all day are over, if you have a mobile phone. As long as we are working on something mechanical that don't keep track of time to fix it, we will not be able to give an exact time to arrive at a perfectly running unit to clean and inspect without a customer not getting a thorough repair at the call before yours. I would rather be late then have a call back. This is why we call before we come. I do thank you for the business and the A report. Sal

Description of Work: Replaced the toilet flapper and adjusted it. Tried to sell additional fill valve. Was supposed to be a toilet tune-up. But all he did was install a $5 flapper for the low Angie's List price of $59. Was that enough to fix the unintentional flushing, yes, so I got what I wanted, just thought he might clean the holes around the rim of toilet, asked, but he said they were okay.

Description of Work: Water heater went out on a sunday afternoon. I called sal"s to be put on their list for a monday visit. that evening, a couple of hours later, I get a call saying they could come that evening and no charge for the weekend visit. two great guys showed within a hour of the call, bringing a new water heater when they installed in about 2 hours. they took the old one away and cleaned up afterwards.give this outfit at least 10 stars. they're no. one in my book.
