Description of Work: Mike cleaned and inspected my furnace per the Angie's List big deal. In addition he cleaned and inspected the humidifier and changed the pad, showed me how to change furnace filters and I ordered two new furnace filters (included in the total). This is the second time Sal's heating and Cooling has been here and we are very satisfied with their service.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angies List coupon for A/C check and tune up. They were very pleasant & professional. However, when I called them to schedule, they advised that they do not give an estimated time for arrival. They just call you 30 min. or so before they come. Of course, having already bought the coupon for the service, not scheduling the appt. would have been a waste of money. This appt. was a Saturday, which was fortunate. But to me, it was too inconvenient not to be able to leave my house all day on a Saturday. I actually did, & was about 5 minutes away from my house when they called late in the day. They seemed a little miffed I wasn't at home. To their credit, I did get a call around 3 or so from the office telling me they would still come at some point that day. As far as the work done - seemed very knowledgeable, professional and prompt doing the service. The serviceman was personable and pleasant. I would say if you work at home or are home all day, or live with another adult definitely go for it. They seem to be a good business. However, for me that is an inconvenience that I would have to carefully plan for in advance, so unfortunately I probably won't use them again.

I ran the air conditioner a lot this year, and experienced exceptionally low electric bills for the summer season, compared to last year. Description of Work: First off, $59.00 for the 17 point inspection plus more furnace cleaning is a great deal. Secondly and most important was that the technician Mike who showed up was nothing but professional, had a great attitude and was easy to talk to. Furthermore, he called a half hour before his arrival and was prompt. Mike came in, introduced himself and went right to work on my furnace. Not only did he clean and inspect my furnace Mike found that my furnace had a bad condensation back up and cleared the line plus put a new valve on at a very reasonable price. Description of Work: Sal's came out and inspected the AC unit in my yard, and he told me it was probably going to need to be replaced. Two days later the unit quit. I ended up hiring Kasidonis in Strongsville because they could come out quickly and did not charge for an estimate. They arrived on time, replaced the unit, did great work. I had a limited experience with Sal's because they could not come out as quickly. I cannot say enough nice things about Kasidonis, however. They were great.

Description of Work: AC INSPECTION A FEW WEEKS LATER HAD TO REPAIR POWER LINE THAT MICE ATE THROUGH AND CAUSED COMPESSOR TO GO DOWN. CAME OUT PROMPTLY AND REPAIRED FOR $170. VERY REASONABLE.

Description of Work: Easy to schedule an appointment. Was on time for the appointment. Performed all services completely and efficiently during my lunch break. He even helped me level my air conditioning unit with dirt and rocks.

Description of Work: I ordered the $59 A/C Inspection and Tune-up. The service technician was very conscientious. In performing the A/C tune-up, the tech noticied I had natural gas leaking in my furnance and there was no clean out for the drain. Also, as part of the tune-up, the tech showed me and explained I had a part going bad. I went ahead and had it replaced.
