Description of Work: I purchased a 'Big Deal' to have our A/C inspected. Just before they came, it went out, so they were not able to perform the inspection, but rather gave me an estimate of what it would take to have it repaired or replaced.

Description of Work: The furnace was cleaned and checked. A furnace filter needed to be changed at an additional cost of 39.00 . The service man was on time, clean and efficient.

Description of Work: I used the Angies list promotion coupons for checking and cleaning my 2 FHA furnaces in my 2 Family. The technician found a crack in my older furnace and said he could fix it for safe operation. This furnace was 23 years old. I had been thinking about upgrading that furnace and adding Central Air to both my furnaces for my 2 apartments. The technician wrote up an estimate for 1 new high efficiency furnace, and 2 Central Air units. I was told that my high efficiency furnace would qualify for a rebate of $400, which would offset the cost to upgrade my electric boxes for the A/C units. I booked the work for early October. I got a call from the technician when to expect them to start the work each day. They came on time, and cleaned up after each work day. In additional to replacing the furnace and adding the A/C, there was extensive duct work required to tie the cold air returns back to the furnaces. This work was complicated and extensive, but done well too. All in all, I felt I got quality work and an excellent price with professional people. I sell real estate and have already given Sal's Heating and Cooling name and number to 3 of my clients and I put Sal's on my HVAC contractor list for future clients as well. The office staff has also been helpful so that I can obtain the rebate. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and to use them again for regular maintenance on my new equipment. I will see them again in the Spring to check the A/C units when the weather permits, since they couldn't be checked at the time of the install.

Description of Work: No installation was made. Aprilaire did not fit my furnace(?). My request that they find something that would, even at a higher cost, got a promise but no action. After the F review, I got a prompt response but the quote was several hundred dollars more than I was willing to pay. I've ordered the humidifier and will install it myself.

Description of Work: The representative was very thorough and polite, and explained to me each step of his work. He found a small blockage in the humidifier line that kept it from functioning correctly, and then finished by explaining the proper settings for the controls for me.

Description of Work: Sol's was very responsive as to when I was available to be at the home to provide their services, I gave them a date and they did the rest , they came in assessed what they needed went out to their truck with the supplies, came in with clean clothes provided a professional installation, cleaned and tidied up asked us to look over their work provided us with assurances as to the quality in a very courteous manner. I would recommend then to anyone.

Description of Work: We called for a checkup of our furnace and air conditioner as specified by the Deal, then paid an additional fee for a check of the non-water tank hot water system. We knew that the hot water system was not covered by the Deals that we purchased. The service man did check all and found no problems. For several years we had used another company for check ups and service and their staff told us we needed a new air conditioning system since the coolant was not being manufactured for our older system. The Sal's serviceman explained that we did not need to replace our AC unless it developed problems and needed expensive repairs. I had told the office person that our previous service company seemed preoccupied with selling us new equipment and services at every visit in recent years and that this created doubts about their willingness to work with us.

Description of Work: Upgraded toliets to ErgoHeight. No problem for Sal's. Toliets delivered. Took out old toliets and installed new ones. Great job! Very courteous and polite. Cleaned up after themselves.
