Description of Work: I needed my side yard leveled with new top soil in preparation of planting grass. I was told up front that due to rainy weather my job may not get done until early July, but since it was a small job probably could squeeze it in sooner. After several great weather days in June and no contact from Pavlin, we decided to do work ourselves. I received an invoice from Pavlin for work performed. I called and told them that no one from Pavlin did work at my house. I received a call from the owner asking what the problem was and I told him no one from Pavlin was at my house (meaning no work performed). He started getting very loud and saying "I was at your house myself, you can ask your neighbor, she waved to me out the window." When I repeated that no one from Pavlin was at my house and we did the work ourselves, he again became agitated and stated that no one called him to say we did the work, which is true, however, I didn't feel it was my responsibility to call, thinking when they called to schedule I would tell them work was done. What started out to be, what I thought, a nice working relationship turned out disastrous. I was planning on using Pavlin for several other maintenance and renovation yard work, but no longer even thinking of doing so.

Description of Work: Due to illness my husband and I could not take care of our yard this year. It was a jungle out there - no kidding. Mr. Pavlin and his able crew cleaned up all the weeds, trimmed all the shrubs, took out the dead ones, and made our yard look beautiful. He put us on his weed patrol so this would not happen again. We are very pleased with this company.

Description of Work: He arranged our yard by doing the mowing as well as edging. Later he did the fall clean up and turned all the trees as well as cut some trees and shrubs for us.

+ -1 moreTed and his team arrived at the time stated. The entire crew worked very well together and were very professional. One crew member edged all of the flowerbeds and landscaped areas. Two crew members worked to remove all of the overgrown grass and weeds from all of the landscaped areas. Ted and another crew member work with the mulch. They never dumped the mulch in my driveway - they took it right from the delivery truck which I appreciated so much. Afterwards the team cleaned up everything - you would not have known that his crew was there. I am extremely pleased with this project and plan to use Ted in the future for all of my landscaping projects. Good prices - excellent service - great group of guys to work with.

+ -1 moreWe could not be more pleased. Ted Pavlin was easy to reach and to work with. He evaluated the job carefully, explained to us what needed to be done, and estimated the probable cost, so that there were no surprises financially. These folks worked very hard at a difficult and unpleasant task. They carefully separated weeds from flowers, and artfully trimmed overgrown bushes and vines. They arrived promptly, worked steadily and efficiently, and did a thorough and professional job. They also limited their work to what we absolutely needed done, so as to keep the price within our reach, and we felt they were quite sensitive in that regard. We feel we were very lucky to find them, they have improved my Mom's quality of life tremendously since she now looks out her windows into beautifully tended gardens, and we can't thank Mr. Pavlin and his crew enough.
Description of Work: Ted Pavlin and his congenial crew of hard workers helped us when we no longer could manage my aging mother's flower-filled yard. It had been years since the flower beds had been appropriately weeded and the bushes trimmed. These folks not only did what we asked, they suggested things that would help with my Mom's safety and comfort while she continues to remain in her house at age 93! They did everything included in basic yard work, from removing bushes to hand-weeding the flower beds. Everything was overgrown and they had quite a mess on their hands, but they were willing to tackle everything we needed done and could no longer do ourselves. They also took all the weeds and clippings away, so that the yard looks fresh and clean.
