Len's Heating & Air Conditioning

They were good and came out in the dead of winter and got everything up and running. The price was a good deal. They sent 2 guys out to do the job and got the job done in about half a day. The workers were both really nice and the cleanup was fine.

My service call went great. The tech was really nice and very knowledgeable. I had a prior tech come out from an another company and said there was so much wrong with our unit and repairing it would be between $700-$1000. Dennis from Lens said that was not the case and it only ran $149.00, Very fair price. GREAT SERVICE

They gave us options for AC units but steered us away from the units that wouldn't have made a difference in efficiency bc of the existing heating unit being so inefficient. They installed the unit in a day and even installed the Nest thermostat I bought for no extra cost in a different location from the previous thermostat. They also went up to the roof and installed a cap on our chimney stack. They also recommended keeping the existing concrete pad we had outside rather than using the plastic one they normally use bc it was better. Overall very pleased. I don't know when I'll have another AC unit installed, but I'll remember them when I do.

I called up Len's Heating & Air Conditioning, scheduled an appointment for Oct 4th (within a week of my call). I was ofrered several "two hour windows", chose Noon to 2pm. Contractor arrived at 12:05. He put coverings over his shoes before entering the house. He cleaned and safety-inspected my relatively new Trane high efficiency furnace, thermostat, humidifier and condensate pump, and also my very old American Standard furnace and thermostat, humidifier and condensate pump. (My house is a duplex, that's why two of everything). He finished in about an hour, reported everything was fine, no work needed. He replaced the filters in both furnaces with new ones I had o

Thermostat wasn't working. It would have been very helpful if the woman who answered the phone would have said: "Have you changed the battery?" It would have prevented a service call. My husband was out of town, and I know nothing about thermostats. I just knew I needed it working again, for me and my children. She also mentioned that the guy has going to be in my town anyway. When he got here, then he asked if we'd changed the battery, and informed me that this battery change was going to cost me $89. He was very nice, I'm sure he was just following orders. And he did bring down the price $20. But really, what a scam! Like they don't make enough money!!! I called and asked speak to Len, and was informed that he was "on vacation". And of course he never called me back. We are longtime customers, we bought a Trane furnace from them in 1997, and then a big good quality air conditioner in 2005. We've been good customers of theirs, and he's not willing to erase this charge over a silly mistake of ours. They have ruined their relationship with us and deserve a bad review, in my opinion.

It was one the best experiences we have had with a contractor. The job is done above and beyond, from the quality of the units to the installation.

Doug, who was very knowledgeable and honest estimated the job. Cliff and Rich did the installation. From Len's reputation I knew I was going to get a good job. The installation was probably as close to perfect as you can get. I was most impressed of the neatness to the eye of the installation and the quality of parts used.

The owner knew right away what kind of job this was going to be after he saw the house. He got the idea we were really picky and wanted this job not only done right, but we wanted it done our way! Len was either not thinking, or he trusted his guys, Brian and Jack, well enough that he knew they'd be able to do the install the way we wanted it done and without making many mistakes. The owner worked with us, used the materials we asked for, and provided us with a top quality job. Now, with that said, Furnace installs is not rocket science. However, the tinting work and the A/C charge you need someone who's got the equipment and we didn't have that equipment. We interviewed over a dozen contractors and decided to go with Len's Heating. He's not the cheapest since it's a decent size company, but he's definitely not the most expensive! The guys were here for an entire day, one working on the furnace, the other had to install a completely new A/C with lines and everything since we never had A/C in this house. They needed to come for about an hour the next day to finish up some vent work. I'm never 100% satisfied and there are a few tiny little things I would have done differently. Cosmetic things. That's about it. Very clean job, the guys were easy to get along with, they even let me keep my old furnace and helped me load it into my truck so I could get a few pennies back at the scrap yard!

The salesman was very knowledgable and helpful in our decision on the right system we wanted. The installers, Brian and Jack were very efficient and did a great job for us. The job they did looks very neatly done and so far everything seems great. Would recommend them to anyone. Len was here to measure for the new system and answered all all questions too.

They were responsive and showed up on time. They did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves and answered all my questions. They price was good.

The men came as scheduled. It took about a day to perform the work. When they were done they explain everything on operating the furnace and the humidifier. They cleaned up and removed the old furnace.

We asked to have the annual inspection/cleaning of the humidifier and furnace. The technician advised us that the furnace was cracked and we would need to get a new one as soon as possible. He called his office and got a price to replace the furnace and air conditioner. He said there ws no need to clean this one because it was no good. We told him we would let them know. Then we called our insurance company (we have the appliance/homeowner's warranty) and they sent a technician (from another heating and air conditioning company) to evaluate the condition of the furnace. He shined a light inside and let me look at it. He said the furnace was fine and should last a long time yet, based on his experience with this brand. So now we still need to have it cleaned but it is working just fine and that was over two months ago.

repairman was on time. He looked at the issue and diagnosed what needed to be done. He called the owner for a second opinion and the owner came to look at the issue. Both men repaired the problem. They were professional, timely and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely use them again.

My 40 year old furnace needed replacing. Decided to include the entire HVAC system - A/C and humidifier and associated items. Obtained estimates from four companies, decided on Len's Heating and Cooloing. I called Len's and accepted their offer. About 10 days later they called to schedule the install, at my convenience. I was told it would take a day and a half. Appointment was set up for Wed & Thurs Nov 7 and 8. Weds morning they arrived at 9am as scheduled, two installers went to work. They removed the old equipment, installed the new furnace, Honeywell air cleaner, humidifier, A/C, thermostat, condensate pump. Replaced the A/C circuit breaker. New furnace could not be used overnight as venting was not yet in place. Installers returned Thursday morning at 9am, installed new chimney liner and vent from hot water tank into the new liner. They installed the vent piping for the new furnace extending it through an outside wall. They started and tested the new equipment. They explained to me how everything worked, and several times asked if I had any questions for them. They put all the old equipment and scrap in their truck and hauled it away. They were done by about 11am Thursday. On Friday morning the guy who had provided me with the estimate came out to look over the work, and to be sure I was satisfied. He asked if I had any further questions, and said if I came up with any later to be sure and call.He thanked me for my business.

From the time they arrived which was fifteen minutes early, until they time they left, we had no problems, they kept us informed on what they found, as they replaced our old furnace and new chimmey liner. We asked questions and they would stop and answer us with whatever question we had. Very helpful guys. When they were finished, their made sure we knew how to clean the filter, and how to program the new Honeywell Thermostate. Being a bit older, we sometimes need things shown to us a second time, that was no problem for them. If you need any hvac work done, I would highly recommend them, great job!

I had one of their service men do what they call a 'clean and check" on my air conditioning as it had been functioning poorly last year.he advised me on the age of our system (70's), and although he got my a/c running as best as possible, he recommended I consider replacing it sometime in the near future. I asked him to get me an estimate. Another gentleman called me within the hour and made an appointment that afternoon. He gave me a realistic assessment of the work needed, and gave me a reasonable price, that was less than I expected. I had the furnace and A/C replaced about two weeks later Their workmen were fast - they ripped out the old system and put in a new 96% efficiency trane unit in 6 hours including the chimney liner and installing a new outlet/vent in my kitchen. highly recommend this company!

They did a good job. The price was good. I haven't had any problems with it.

I first met with Len Meola, the owner, to determine the best new heating unit for my home. It was apparent to me that Len was an expert in his field - he was very helpful in providing his recommendations and explaining the benefits associatd with each unit. His crew began work by removing my old oil furnance. They were neat and courteous throughout their time at my home. Once installed I could not believe the difference - the savings have been incredible. I highly recommend Len's Heating and Cooling and would definitely use them again the future.

This company responded to our call within 45 minutes. It rare that a service man comes that fast. He knew what he was doing, gave us some hints and ordered the part. He also showed my husband what could go wrong and suggested we get CO detectors for each bedroom. Excellent service!

This was the first time I have had them out since 1997, so I have had no problems with is since then. They are just good at what they do.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys. The estimation process was painless; the price was (almost) the best, and the installation is neat, square, clean and thoughtfully positioned. They really know what they're doing. The furnace is quiet and works as advertized. The estimator, and owner, told me he would be happy to replace my furnace with a like unit, but that my existing furnace was overkill for my home, and that I could save a lot of money initially and throughout the life of the unit by going with one designed for the square footage, etc of my house. The water heater also works as advertized. The installation is also clean, neat and has no defects. Len's does impressive work.

I liked the salesperson that came to my house. Of the three estimates I received, theirs was the best price; two of the providers gave me the pricing on the same products actually. They were very prompt and good. They were on time. I would definitely use them again in the future if necessary.

Len was the one who came out and quoted the system. He was a very nice guy and explained everything to us. We had gotten about 4 quotes to do the job and even though Len’s was not the cheapest we still went with them as they made us feel the most comfortable with Their Company. The install went great. The installers were very professional and did not leave behind any mess what so ever. I would recommend these guys to anyone!
