The Cleaning Authority

The ladies arrived on time and were very nice. However: Bathroom #1 - in the shower, they did not move the body wash and there was saop scum underneath. They also did not move the w astebasket that was between the toliet and the wall and there were scraps of paper on the floor behind it and the baseboard next to it was not cleaned. Also by not moving the wastebasket there is no way they could have cleaned around the toliet bowl. The top to a toliet cleaning container was filthy, they never touched it. This was hardly detailed cleaning. Bathroom #2 - The bathtub was not toally cleaned, you could see the area's not cleaned. Kitchen - The front of the cabinets were wiped down only as far as they could reach, so you could see a line across the cabinets. In the two bedrooms and living room they feather dusted which just scattered the dust around. Toward the end of the two hours, we were told they could either mop the floor or vaccuum the bedrooms and livingroom, but not do both. We opted to have the floor mopped. When we contacted the company, after playing phone tag, the owner Brian spoke to us. He had a total attitude, telling us we had unreal expectations and could not expect miracles. If we wanted the house vaccummed we should have had them stay and paid them an additional $50.00. They are not allowed to stand on anything to wipe off the higher cabinets and it was right in the contract. They could come out to fix the other things but not until sometime next week. He had an excuse for everything and really projected the attitude that he could care less. If it was our business, we would have been out to your house the next day with the Team and made sure that everything was done properly. Our mistake was that we did not check them out here first. We would not recommend this company to anyone and with the attitude the owner projected and the excuses he made for poor service, we are surprised they stay in business.

My home is located outside of the area they service so they cancelled the appointment.

I currently have the cleaning authority cleaning my house every two weeks. They are professional , prompt, and courteous. They do a pretty good job most of the time. When they miss something, they are more than willing to make it right and correct the problem so it doesn't happen again. Im a busy mom who works full time, so their services are a lifesaver. I don't want to have to clean all weekend, so there services are wonderful and save me lots of time so I can spend more time with my sons.

The ladies that came out were very pleasant and worked hard at cleaning. They did a good job in the time they had. I had them concentrate on some rooms over others so time wasn't evenly distributed, that was my choice. I would use them again. They have a cleaning system that I am thinking of trying where they alternate items they clean and that way everything gets done. I think that might be a better way to go then what I chose. With the time they had to work with they did a great job!

They did everything I requested.

We had to get a refund because the time between when we wanted the service & when they could schedule us was over a month. We usually have someone come in every two weeks & they couldn't take care of us in that time so we weren't going to be able to use them. Aside from them being too busy to take care of us in our needed time frame, we didn't have any other difficulty.

Great experience and I will continue to use their service for a long, long time. I give it a very high rating.

Bryan, the owner came out and gave us a very good estimate to clean the house every two weeks. The girls have been doing a fantastic job. When I had to be out of town on cleaning day, Rhonda made accommodations so my house could still be cleaned. She arranged for a special cleaning the day before I was having a party. They have always done a very good job. The girls arrive the same time every other week. I work from home so I'm always there. Before leaving they check with me to see if there is anything that I see that needs to be better.

I was uneasy about having strangers come in and clean my home. Overall, the ladies that came out were very pleasent and hard working. While I worked from home, I observed what they were doing and couldn't have been more pleased at the attention to detail they showed to their work.

Three people came at to clean my house before the movers moved us in. The owner was clear that this was a hard time to clean because we were still in the midst of renovations. They suggested they come back another time, but I asked them to continue to do what they could. They focused on the bathrooms and the kitchen. I also asked them to vacuum the basement and clean the utility sink. What they cleaned was fine. They did vacuum a basement room after carefully telling me not to expect too much from a basement cleaning and after I reminded them when they had a few minutes left. They explained the limits of what they could do,

the professional team of two individuals, dan and bobbie, completed more housework chores than i expected them to do which gave me a fresh start on these chores (i am disabled and unable to keep up the housework very well) .......... they were both very professional and provided the tools they needed ....... and if i can afford their services in the future i will definitely call this agency ....... also, i missed the expiration deadline of my coupon by a couple of days due to a severe storm/power outage of several days here in the area ........ despite this, the agency still honored the coupon ........ kudos to their understanding in this matter and to the services provided

We met with the owner for a walkthrough and estimate for cleaning services. The owner gave clear boundaries for services to be performed with reasonable pricing. He addressed our questions and concerns satisfactorily and we entered into an agreement, scheduling our first cleaning. The actual cleaning was performed on June 15. The service was PHENOMENAL. Due to a variety of health concerns I no longer have the energy to keep this huge house perfectly clean. We have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living area,dining room, kitchen, laundry area, etc. The house hasn't been cleaned thoroughly in quite some time. Cleaning Authority staff were here exactly when they said they would be -- were courteous and professional -- and far exceeded the expectations of how clean everything would be. Additionally, after the crew cleaned someone inspected their work and pointed out where spots could be improved. Again, the service far exceeded the expectation. Having used other housecleaning services in the past, there is absolutely no comparison to the Cleaning Authority. We are very much looking forward to continuing a business relationship moving forward with this company. The prices are affordable, the staff professional and the service outstanding. Finding a service like this is the reason we joined Angie's List in the first place.

They came out to perform the service and were not happy that I had asked them to clean my basement as it was only a bit dusty. They were not easy to work with and continued to hassle me about the job while in my home. I did not end up using them to perform this service as they were not willing to work with me on the parameters of the job.

I have a rather large dog and they seem to cope well with that compared to others. They do a good job overall.

They are very thorough. They make our hardwood floors look absolutely beautiful. They offer a wide range of services. We have been very happy with their services.

It went very well. Two cleaners arrived on time and appeared very competent and professional. They quickly brought in their supplies, assessed my home and requests and begawan their work. I returned later and found the house clean and tidy and the place locked up just as I had requested. I am very pleased with the work completed.

They do a great job and it takes away the headache and anxiety out of keeping the home clean. They have been doing it for about 5 years now. They are very open to communication and if there is any issue, there haven’t been many, they always take of it.

I thought they were great, and I have no complaints about their service.

When I first called to schedule the appointment, I was told by Brian that there would be no issues with time constraints on cleaning, given the fact the house was vacant. He told me that I would not need to purchase extra time. I even discussed with him that the carpets were just steam cleaned and they would not need to be vacuumed except for the stairs going down to the basement. When I went to the house, however, I was disappointed to see although the bathrooms were ok, the kitchen sink didn't even look like it was touched. The finished part of the basement (which had laminate flooring) may have been vacuumed, but was lots of dirt from our movers, and even dirty footprints throughout. We had the temperature turned down to 60 degrees because it was vacant and found the temperature up to 70 degrees and not changed back. Since it was almost a week later that I was able to go back and check on the cleaning, we had to pay for the extra gas usage. It is appropriate for them to turn up the heat for the cleaning, but inappropriate that it was not changed back. Fortunately, when I called Brian back, he was receptive to these issues. He had the cleaners go back and wipe down the basement floor and clean the kitchen sink. It was difficult to estimate the cost of the extra gas usage for the heat for a week, so he agreed to have the cleaners at least wipe down the inside of the kitchen cabinets and drawers.
