Description of Work: Providers measured deck and informed me it was twice the size of the Angie's List offer, so I had to pay more, which was acceptable. They did the work, seemed good. But after they left I saw a section of lose boards which seemed to have warped up in the wetness and sun so tried to contact them, as the offer included screwing down loose boards. Communication was spotty. They told me they came back and didn't see any warped boards sticking up. It rained and I checked and the boards afterwards; they were even more warped. Some days later the provider told me they'd returned again and still didn't find the boards (although not informing me before they came either time so I did not see them and can not confirm they were there). I took photographs of the problem but did not have an email address to show them. Basically, I gave up, as they were not happy about my asking them to come back to fix the lose/warped boards. Still need to get some stainless steel screws and a clamp to hold down the boards and screw them back in place - but shouldn't have to be doing this myself when I paid for some else to do it.

Description of Work: I ordered the coupon for 8 hours of handy man service from Angie's list. They scheduled the appointment as soon as I emailed a request. They arrived promptly, completed my to do list, everything looks and works great (plumbing, electrical, carpentry). My husband works from home and was able to continue working while they were there with no interruption. Great deal and great service. I am looking forward to making my next "to do" list.

Description of Work: They power washed my deck but did not seal it. They had to reschedule due to weather and offered few choices of times and dates for rescheduling, I also understood that they were going to hammer in any loose nails which they told my husband was not on the original flyer |Also we measured our deck to make sure the size fit in the parameters of the add which it did |He "eyeballed" it and stated it was bigger than the size due to steps and bench on one end. So they only power washed the deck and did not seal it but left a quote for sealing the whole deck |Confusion could have been avoided if he would have come over and told is his concerns a head of time |It was frustrating to say the least

Description of Work: Caulked windows and bathroom. Put down plywood in attic space.

Description of Work: The got lost due to a road closure on the way to my home that they were unaware of and were approximately 30 min late. They painted my gutters on the front of my home and the eaves on the sides. They left after 3 1/2 hrs even though the price was for 4 hrs. I'm not sure there was anything thing else that could be done in 30 min. I am happy with what they did and am considering having them do some interior painting.

Description of Work: We were very happy with Jack and his service. We had communication before they came and gave him a list of things that we wanted them to do. He was at our house on time and did everything we wanted without any trouble. We definitely will have him to do other works in future.

Description of Work: Arrived on time but I did not have materials so Jack drove me to store to |purchase concrete mix. Only a few blocks away from my house Mixed |material and started repairing sidewalk. Did an exceptional job and cleaned up wheelbarrow and replaced everything he had to move. Very, very |satisfied with job and will definitely use his services in the future. He was very professional and cooperative.

Description of Work: Replaced screening on screened in porch. Great "can do" attitude. Arrived without all of the equipment they needed. Connecting to get the work scheduled seemed difficult.

Description of Work: Jack and his assistant were very efficient; they did a variety of small repairs (changed shower head; put in new A/C window unit; moved some furniture; installed new hardware in my filing cabinets...). I had other repair people in my house while Jack and Justin were in the house so it was only after they left that I realized that they did not clean up after themselves (the tub was filthy; the old A/C unit was not removed from the attic, and one of them had on muddy boots and I had to spot-clean the carpet as a result). My guess is that if I had been watching them and asked them to clean up, they would have; they were extremely pleasant and helpful in all of our interchanges. It's too bad that they weren't more careful--I would have given them an "A" if it weren't for this one aspect of their work.

Description of Work: Several small things around the house that we need help with. Installed new fire alarms, installed new lighting fixtures indoor and outdoor, new latch on the fence gate, fixed loose can light, caulk in bathrooms.

Description of Work: They installed some fluoresent ligt assemblies in my kitchen under the cabinets.
