Description of Work: I am guessing at the date because it was sometime within a year but not sure of the date. They do an excellent job and I would highly recommend them. They came to clean the fireplace. When they came it did not need to be cleaned as I do not use it ofter but I wanted the reassurance it was ok to use at Christmas. They put the flu cover back on and the father and son were both helpful. The father told me if i disconnect the cover to just call and he would stop back out. They also did a full inspection on the roof of the chimney. They are extremely professional, polite and on time. This is the second time I have used them.

Description of Work: Mr Esham came out to sweep my chimney, but discovered it to be in such bad shape, it was beyond just sweeping in order for it to be used safely. He refunded part of my money, charged me for only an inspection and referred me to another company- also excellent- that would be able to provide the needed servicing. He was very knowledgable and honest. Now that my chimney is in good working order, I intend to call him after the burning season for a routine sweep.

 + -1 moreMr. Esham worked me in to his schedule very nicely. He arrived when he said he would, was quick and efficient without sacrificing quality. He was extremely careful to not get anything dirty. He was polite, honest, trustworthy, and knowledgable. I recommend him highly and will use him again.
Description of Work: Mr. Esham fixed a broken damper and made it better than it was before it broke. I also asked him to see if we needed to get the chimney sweeped. He was honest and said not now, it was fine.

 + 1 moreMr Esham expllained while he was at our house that he charges for the Chimney Service Report. A free chimney inspection is provided while he sweeps the chimney.
Description of Work: Mr. Esham had been asked to inspect our fireplaces which hadn't been cleaned in years. He arrived promptly when scheduled and spent considerable time inspecting them. He explained each step so that we understood what condition they were in. He does charge a modest amount for a Chimney Service Report which is well worth it to know that neither chimney needed sweeping. He recommended contractors for exterior crown repair and recommended getting chimney caps. I was able to repair the crown using my old standby Z-Brick Cement and was able to find suitable chimney caps online. We had some minor buildup of creosote in one chimney and purchased anti-creosote spray from Mr. Esham to take care of the problem. Overall he was very professional and I would recommend him.

Arrived on time, worked diligently, explained each step along the way, and pointed out some issues with the outside of the chimney that need to be addressed. He was quite detailed in his explanations, and very considerate of keeping the home carpeting covered up and clean while working. He also recommended a brick mason to repair the cap area and re- tuck some mortar in the future. I would HIGHLY recommend Mr Esham!
