Roger was a true professional. We brought him in based on a recommendation and could not be happier. We brought him in to clean an existing chimney as we had a strong smoke odor permeating our house. Roger came in and found safety issues and recommended the right person to fix the issues. Roger was knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. I would certainly hire him again.

This was our first time using Esham and we were not disappointed. They were very responsive to our initial call and got us scheduled right away. The work was done efficiently and they kept the interior of our home very clean. They also observed an issue with two pipes lacking covers (we have had birds/chipmunks crawl into them and into our walls before), and they installed caps on the spot. Great work.

Very nice and professional. Originally scheduled me a week from when I called to make an appointment but was able to squeeze me in a day after I called because he got done with a job in the area, which was greatly appreciated. Able to get the job done quickly and without any problems. Explained how to properly open and close the damper so it doesn't go off track again.

The technicians were punctual, professional, and thorough. The cleaned the chimney, careful not to make a mess in the living room. They carefully explained their findings, to include the issues with the flue tiles and the smoke release into the house. They appropriate referrals for help fixing the masonry and tile problems and made suggestions to help fix the design flaw in the opening. We were very impressed!

Had a problem with the damper and general service of the chimney. The two gentlemen that worked on my chimney were extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable. My service need was standard but the service Roger provided was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Roger called well before the appointment time to let me know he was running 30 minutes late. I wish all contractors had this kind of courtesy. He and his assistant we're very efficient in getting the area around the fireplace covered and protected before starting on the cleaning. He was very informative of what he was doing and what he was finding while cleaning. He inspected a second fireplace that is giving us problems and was very thorough with his explanations. He referred us to another contractor that would be able to fix the issues with this fireplace. He also inspected the chimney caps and other roof vents. All in all it was a very good experience. We will be calling them again for future cleanings.

Since this is a house I don't yet own Roger had to work with multiple parties to schedule his appointment. The scheduling was flawless and Roger cleaned and inspected the chimney. The day the service was provided he dropped of the inspection report at my place of business. I was not there so Roger called me the next day to go over the report and make certain I understood what he had observed. He is quite knowledgeable about his craft and very professional. He took plenty of time and made certain I understood the condition of the fireplace chimney and suggested future potential fixes and repairs. I would definitely recommend Esham's Chimney Sweeps to friends and neighbors and plan to use them for my future cleanings.

We have used Esham's over 15 years and he has always provided excellent service. This time he found more than we had bargained for. We had purchased our coal from a different dealer. The coal must of been low grade because Mr. Esham found our chimney almost closed with soot. He cleaned diligently until all the soot was gone, it nearly filled our stove. He removed everything without any stains or spills to our carpet. He always lays down a covering over the carpet and around the stove. We are currently looking for a different coal dealer thanks to Mr. Esham's report.

Our experience with Esham's could not have been better. Roger was very responsive, punctual, and very professional. The chimney needed extensive cleaning, which Roger took care of with ease. The cap was properly fitted and installed. Additionally, he also replaced other failing caps on the roof. He even gave our little ones a coloring book!
