I was contacted by Jessica and an appointment was set for Dec. 5 between 12-3:00. No one came that day and I was never called. Angie's List followed up with them and Jessica called me again to arrange for another try. We rescheduled for Dec. 11 within the same time frame. This time a technician came. I was told that I needed a new capacitor and that it would cost $93.00. I had him put it in and paid the charge. The next day I found the capacitor on Amazon for less that $10.00.

Everything went as scheduled. Technician was prompt and thorough.

Office called me the Friday before the appointment day (Monday). The Tech called me Monday morning and told me exactly when he would be there and he was right on time. He performed the tune up and explained to me everything he did. I showed him a problem I was having with exhaust flue gas condensation and he showed me the suspected part. He offered to return with the part and install but I declined because it was something I felt comfortable with fixing on my own. I did find the part on Amazon and completed the repair. I now have full confidence in my furnace for the heating season.

It went well. The only thing that I did not understand, was the extra $38 for the cleaning of the flame sensor. The deal said it was included in the original cost of the deal: "verify line voltage; low voltage; micro amps of flame sensor; clean if below 2.0". If there are going to be embedded charges, they should be specified in the wording of the deal. As a result, the $39 tune up costed $77. Kinda misleading. $39 for a Furnace Tune-Up, (60.61% Savings), Reserve Now for $29.25 Gas Furnace/Heat Pump tune-up includes: cleaning; safety check; check thermostat and filter; clean blower section (does not include squirrel cage); clean burner section (if accessible) and check condensate drain; visual Inspection of wiring, vent pipe; heat exchanger, and burners; verify line voltage; low voltage; micro amps of flame sensor; clean if below 2.0; inducer capacitor MFD; proper inducer amp draw; blower amp draw; blower capacitor MFD; ohm test hot surface igniter; measure for proper gas pressure at outlet; measure and verify proper temp rise and verify safe CO level in home; check humidifier and humidifier pad; analyze combustion gas: O2%, CO, CO2 and measure flue temp

Technician was on time, answered all my questions, cleaned up his work area and gave timely, professional estimates for additional work. Later in the week I ended up talking with the owner who was very informative and interested in my project. I would recommend them to anyone.

He suggested a few items that may need replaced soon without being pushy or salesy to get them done now. He sent us a detailed report that evening with all of the items he checked and their status. This was a great company to work with. It was a smooth transaction from the first moment I called. I had a tech out the same day to take measurements for my new system and he was attentive and listened to all of my needs and concerns. I had an affordable quote directly from the owners of the company within hours of my initial call. Because I was financing, there was more paperwork involved and that whole process through their office was smooth and easy. I had a new system within 2 days of my initial call at a fair price with excellent customer service. I will be more than happy to purchase an annual maintenance agreement from them every year. Truly a company can trust.
