New Albany Heating and Cooling was fantastic! I received an immediate call to get someone scheduled the same day and worked with my schedule since I could not meet someone until after work. I must say, technician, Isaiah Chattos was very professional, personable and he walked me through the process of discovering what the issue was. He is someone who is proud of who he works for and it showed. I will definitely be using them again for all my furnace needs!

I submitted a request on Angies List for a quote on my AC unit. I was unsure if a repair or replace was needed. I almost immediately had a call back and a schedule for someone to come take a look. Mike called me before arriving and was very prompt. He was very polite and professional and took time to fully inspect the unit. It turns out a new unit was needed and he went through my options and quoted prices. The pricing is very competitive. A new unit was scheduled for installation the next day. The AC installation was done very professionally. During the install a crack was found in the heat exchanger of the furnace. Again exceptional service was provided from quote to install. Big shot out to Mike Brown, Brock, Haidar, Brian and Dakota. There was another gentlemen with Brock and I can’t remember his name. So sorry!! If you need any work done on HVAC, give Five Star heating and cooling a shot. awesome job guys!

They did a really good job. Estimate was performed right away. Scheduling was a week out, which is not surprising given the time of year. The deal was a very good value, I was lucky to get it. It was not high efficiency as described in the deal title, which they blamed on Angies list. The details on the efficiency as described in the deal were correct though (standard/low efficiency). I had the option to claim either deal, and opted for the more economical one. I didn't feel pressured to chose one or the other. They did a good job on the install, took out the old line set and got everything back up and running within the day. I would definitely recommend this company. The only hiccup we had was when I went to pay with my credit card it was declined by my credit card company. They worked with me to get that resolved and the charges completed. Very professional.

On May 24, 2019, I replaced two 20-year-old York AC units with (two) 2-ton 13 seer Carrier units at my rental. The two technicians Brad and Kevin arrived around 10:00 AM. They removed the old units and installed the two new units. The total cost $6,174.00 including permit fees, tax, and installation. It includes a 5-yr parts & 1-year labor warranty. The technicians, Brad & Kevin were great. They were conscientious, personable and willing to answer all my questions. Unfortunately, it rained part of the day. They made sure to put down drop cloths and kept the mess to a minimum. The entire installation took approximately 9 hours. I stayed and watched the entire time so I can attest to their work ethic, expertise and honesty. The old equipment was removed by a scrapper they called. The only issue I have and it is not with the installers but the company's policy of only giving a 5-yr warranty rather than the normal 10-yr residential warranty. They considered my residential rental as commercial. But I knew this up front. So the issue for me was should I go with another company that I received a bid from but which was around $350 higher per unit to get the 10-year warranty or go with New Albany H & C? I chose the lower price over the longer warranty. New Albany H & C is part of a larger group of companies that include Pickerington H & C, Hilliard Dublin H & C, and a few others. I like the company's policies and customer service but the warranty issue does stick in my craw. I would use the company again and I would request Brad and Kevin again.

Everything was smooth from scheduling to coordinating work permits to the final product. The installation was completed in one day on a house that did not have AC previously. The installation was done without causing any disruption or damage to the house despite having to create openings through interior and exterior walls.

Installation completed, there was a gas leakage, fortunately, city inspector has found several issues. Technicians came to resolve the issues multiples but in vain. And, technicians are experimenting the equipment to troubleshoot the issues, but they were unable to resolve the issues.

New Albany is excellent. The office called me before 8:30 am, minutes after I'd purchase the deal. I was very pleasantly surprised. The office informed me I need not purchase the deal because the furnace tune up was included with my air conditioner purchase in April!!! I was stunned. It wasn't the money, it was their honesty. Rare these days. They can be counted on to be professional, punctual, communicative and courteous. Those things seem like who they are. Additionally, their skill level is obvious when you talk with them. Amazing. So glad they're on my team!!

the HVAC tech called and said he was actually running early. he showed up and was able to diagnose the issue and replacing the faulty part. he also improved the performance of my nest by connecting a wire I had missed.

Very well. The installation team confirmed the time in advance and met it. The installation was performed in less time than we had expected. The team was very courteous and professional. The explained all of the features of the unit and answered related questions. They covered the floors to avoid any mess. After I had accepted a bid from them that was very competitive, they contacted me to let me know that I could have 3 year interest free financing rather than just two years. They already had my commitment and would not have had to do this. I had not recorded information on the unit they replaced. It turned out this was needed to obtain a rebate of $150 from AEP. I called the company and one of their technicians spend a great deal of time retrieving the required information from the unit they had removed for recycling. They followed up to provide an additional form needed for the rebate. This is service "above and beyond" what I could have reasonably expected from many companies. I have been very impressed with the character, professionalism, and compassion of everyone I contacted. I would definitely recommend this company and their staff.

My Central Air Conditioning unit did not appear to be cooling the house fast enough, so I called several companies for an appointment. New Albany Heating and Cooling had a live operator at 7 pm and was one of the few who said they could send someone out the following day. In addition, they honored the online Angie's List coupon to perform the system check for $24.00. The following day, Matt from New Albany Heating and Cooling met me at the house and did a system maintenance check. He told me he could not find anything wrong with the system, and gave me some tips on how to keep the house cool, such as opening up more rooms. He did add a little refrigerant to the system, as he thought it was a little bit low.

The service was both quick and excellent. They come out and performed an estimate a few days after I called and after I accepted their quote, they came out a few days later to complete the job. After they left, you couldn't even tell they were there, everything worked as it should and they even left a few replacement filters for us to use.

They scheduled the tune up within 2 days of my purchasing their deal on Anglie's list. The technician arrived on time and did a thorough job; he recommended some further servicing which we agreed to perform in the Fall. On the whole, very satisfactory,

very friendly and well informed inspector went way out of his way to explain what he was doing. After inspecting the furnace in attic he told me why it passed and how good the equipment was . I had a new system installed one year ago and he graded the brand and told me that the price I paid was fair which I had been wondering. The he changed the filter checking the air quality and also checked the house for carbon monoxide. I felt like for the price I paid I got far more service than expected along with lots of friendly information. I will use this company for semi-annual checkups in the future.

Vendor was on time and very professional. My wife was comfortable with the technician and he was polite and friendly. Everything went fine and the furnace is running great.

Can't say as they never contacted me. I specifically left my contact info and never heard from them. Instead they left a message on angieslist despite my contact info left for them.

Since humidifier is 35+ years old I was confident in his assessment. New Albany H&C is installing a new unit tomorrow.

It went extremely well. from the time we call and left a message it was less than 30 minutes until they called back. They made an appointment for 2 business days later which was fantastic. They were prompt, professional and thorough. We will definitely have them back in the spring to check the A/C. We highly recommend them. We had other work done at this time and asked about and agreed to a service contract to service our unit twice a year.

The check out went really well - Jake called 30 minutes prior to arrival and showed within the 3 hour window that was scheduled. He did a great job ensuring my furnace was running well and noticed the capacitor was running below factory specifications. He replaced it quickly and the whole appointment was complete in about 40 minutes. My issue was when I looked at the actual price of the capacitor I realized I was charged approximately 500% above retail. I both e-mailed and called the company to ask about this large mark-up but received no reply as of 1/5/18. Overall the service call was a good value and Jake was very professional, but I would not use again based on the extreme difference between the price of materials and the price charged.

They called shortly after I purchased the deal and set up an apt. There was one minor issue day of apt. They did not show up during time frame, when I called they apologized as they should have notified they were running late (the only reason I gave a B on punctuality) . They gave me a new time frame and the tech called when he was on his way. He was very nice and professional. He did the inspection and tune up and let me know that everything was ok and one part I would eventually need to replace but was good for now. Explained all he did and the results.
