Brian Lawrence came out hours after I placed a call to the office. We were concerned about possible water damage to our circut box. After an inspection, Brian was able to reassure me that there was no damage or cause for concern, but he was helpful in pinpointing the source of the water. Once we located the problem area on the outside of the house, Brian showed me how to seal the holes in the exterior of thehouse. He could have just told me what the problem was, but instead ran to his truck and grabbed the needed supplies. Within minutes he had sealed the electrical box from future water damage and could not have been friendly while working. On top of all this, there was no charge at all! What a great experiance!

They were prompt and was cheaper than we thought it would be. They did a great job. They were knowledgeable and efficient. They knew what to look for and how to do it.

I originally had planned on doing this 3 years ago and had Thompson come out then to provide an estimate. I was surprised when I had the estimate done again this year that I was quoted the same price. When I mentioned it, they said they really try and make an effort to keep their costs down. The estimate provided was professional, friendly, and thorough. The actual work was completed in a day and the gentlemen that performed the work was professional and did an excellent job. I'm very pleased with the work. This is the second time I've used Thompson for electrical work and would definitely use them again.

I called and got a telephone estimate, had an on site estimate to confirm it, and scheduled the work to coordinate with other work I was having done. Everything was handled professionally. Estimator and workers were on time, pleasant and polite. I have more electrical work to do in the future, and they are the firm I will call. No surprises, and I was very pleased with the finished product.

I found Thompson Electric on Angie's List and was impressed by their ratings and reviews. They became one of four electricians I called for an assessment and estimate. Brian Lawrence arrived precisely on time, greeted me and presented identification. He looked at the panel and outlets and confirmed that they needed to be replaced. He also looked at the source, where the electrical service comes into the house, and said it did NOT need to be replaced (unlike the other three electricians who wanted to do far more). The bottom line: They did the work promptly and professionally and for exactly what he said it would cost. We are very pleased with the whole experience and will happily recommend them to anyone!

They installed fixtures that I had bought. The fixtures were not working properly. They found loose wires in the fixtures. They were not responsible for the loose wires but they came over right away and repaired them at no cost.

My experience with them was great on the surface. I had a home inspection that indicated I had a breaker box that needed replacing. I had them come out to replace it and hen they told me that the connection to the house was illegal so I had him redo that.

The electrician came out and fixed the light switches in the dining room when that was done I asked him if he had time to fix the ceiling fan which was not on his schedule for this call. He did take the time to fix the ceiling fan and did a very good job on both the dining room lights and ceiling fan.

They called me back immediately. They came on time and I thought their price was very reasonable. They were nice to have in the house and I was comfortable with them.

They are very honest. They gave us the exact same quote three years ago and the price was the same. They are very timely and they always call before they come. Also they are very friendly and professional.

They did a great job, they were on time and very professional. They did the work and at a reasonable cost. There was nothing at all that I didn't like about them.

We'd been having whole house electrical fluctuations for about 5 months, that was getting considerably worse as time went on. Thompson gave us advice and ways to try to narrow down the problem before they even scheduled a service call to help save us some time and money. At their suggestion, we tried narrowing it down to an appliance or breaker connection to no avail. At the service call, the repairman was very thorough, testing all of our underground service lines, neutrals and ground, as well as all the connections in the transformer, and our inside panel box. He also verified that the repair was complete by helping me turn on everything in the house and waiting for the usual "dimming." The repairman was very pleasant and polite, explained exactly what he was doing, and his diagnosis/repair. He spent about 30 minutes at the house.

A serviceman from Thompson arrived well on time. He removed the old meter box, installed a new one, and cleaned up the clipped wires on the ground. He was very polite and talked with me about how the problem happened. I haven't had a problem since.

I got three estimates and they were significantly less than the others and the quality of the work was just fine.

Everything went well. They were very quick and efficient and very good about explaining what they were doing.

Absolutely perfect! First, I got an appointment within 5 days of calling. They showed up completely on time. Mike, the electrician, was more then courteous and did a great job! Such a nice guy, when asked if he could look at something I did not originally call about, he didn't even flinch, he said, "Of course!" Very clean, both the electrician and the work done.

Very well. Took less than 1 1/2 hours total time. On his recommendation, the outlets were replaced with GFI's since the 2 prong ones in place were not grounded. This saved me a lot of expense.

They were easy to contact, came when scheduled, were neat and tidy, did the work in the projected time frame. The best part is that I wasn't even around to supervise, and they were still this good. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would gladly recommend them to anyone. Anytime you call them, they set up an appointment right away and do the work when they say they will.

The guys at Thompson were outstanding. Price was awesome, as was the quality of their work. Brian took extra time to make sure I wasn't paying for anything that wasn't absolutely necessary. Other electricians told me I needed a whole new electrical panel ($700), Brian looked at my setup and after only five minuets figured out how to nearly double the number of breakers in my panel giving me plenty of room at a third of the cost. Great work!!!
