The Davey Tree Expert Company- Cincinnati & N Cincinnati

They are like a chain I think. Their price was reasonable and I had already been using them for the 9.36. I thought they were a little expensive but I needed it done. They are really good.

It went well. These are the most professional group you will ever meet. They clean up after themselves. I wanted to make sure the house was not hit by one large tree and the fire pit by another so I was willing to pay more, however, Davey is the most expensive by far. The only problem I had, which I never addressed with them was that they let the trunk of one tree stay in such a large, heavy chunk that when they felled it, it made a very deep and long dent (2feet deep) in my vinca and hosta garden. I thought they should have been knowledgeable enough to aim it away from the house and bed.

They did a great job. Everything went smoothly.

Responded promptly and professionally to a request for service, explained what he would do and what it would cost on his initial visit and a few days later, the work was done. I had gotten excellent reviews from several people who knew his work and they were right.

They did a fine job. They were prompt and the price was right. Other companies that we contacted wanted 3 times as much to do the same work. They came and performed the work when we were at our work and cleaned up. There was really no sign of their passing other than the trees were trimmed, so that was good.

They did an amazing job at an amazing price cutting large trees carefully off my retaining wall in the city on the side of a steep hill.

The office people are not that swift. Due to an equipment problem, they were several hours late showing up for the job, but the office never bothered to call and tell me. I had to make several phone calls over a period of hours to find out what was happening, and the office never did figure it out. But that's a small thing. The work crew did a first class job, better than I expected. They also worked fast and efficiently. I have high confidence in the company, and would definitely use them again.

Brian, from Davey's, was in the neighborhood reviewing some other job. I tracked him down and asked for an estimate on some work. He spent some time with me to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted done. He also had some recommendation. Work to be done was in the very back of the yard. I had several concerns about bringing some heavy equipment causing damage to my yard. He arranged for some "smaller" equipment to be used to avoid yard damage. Guys who came out did a great job. First thing they did was review with me the work to be done. They were very professional. They were very careful when working near my house. Did a nice job trimming the tree's. It was very thorough. I was very pleased on all the clean-up they did, after completion.

Excellent job. Rick Hannah came out and viewed the property and work to be done and suggested best ways to handle our heavily wooded lot as well as the traditional yard areas in the front and sides. Price was well worth all the work done. Workers extremely professional and we now have neighborhood showcase. Exceptional! Thank you.

Davey Tree responded to my phone call within 24 hours and we had a quote within a few days-- broken out several ways so we could decide which trees to remove now based on budget. We accepted immedately and the work was done within a week. one crew came and removed the trees and all debris, the other came later and ground out the stumps, leaving only a lovely pile of bark mulch we can use. We are very pleased.

Dustin injected my ash tree to "2 yr. cycle" treat with Tree Age. They called and came out promptly once we got connected (busy season). Dustin was very, very professional and explained the whole process as I am a "scientist type" (and like to know the particulars of what I am paying for.) He explained the importance of watering and fertilizer to maximize the optimal treatment uptake into the whole tree. Dustin graciously answered my questions about my other trees and suggested treatments that could be followed. He shared that they have an Indy branch too for friends near there with Ash issues. He even shared about the fire blight issues/treatment options in the neighborhood (generically.) Dustin was very knowlegable, patient, clear & concise in what he did. This was one of the best technicians of any type I've worked with and he is a tribute to Davey Tree as an excellent employee serving others. I would hire them again in a second based on this particular experience. (and previous ones) As a volunteer with ASQ I am very quality conscious and they meet that professional criteria nicely.

They have done work with me in the past - they leave nothing behind - all raked up and clean!! Very easy to work with and reliable. They will work with you to save your trees. That is something that is important to me. Make sure you get the real Davey Tree Expert Co.!!

Everything was great! They were the first ones out to give an estimate, were able to do the work right away, and they were the cheapest. It was a huge complicated job, with a bunch of large trees growing on a retaining wall on a house on the side of the hill, and they finished in a couple hours. Now that I know tree removal is that easy with them, I will be using them everytime.

We called Davey Tree company to get a bid on removing some bushes in the front yard and getting a bid to upgrade the landscaping. We used Davey Tree company in the past to trim our large trees and they did a great job. We were given a bid by Bryan which was fare but were unable to get the work done at this time. We decided to go in another direction. Our experiences with Davey Tree company have been positive and we will use them in the future.

We chose The Davey Tree Expert Co -North Cincinnati. They were good. They had to treat a few of our trees. We have a couple of ashes and they are going to treated those. I don't know if they are going to treat them again. They treated a couple of our plump cherries for bugs and funguses. They did come twice so far. The guy that came out initially looked at out trees was exceptional. We had another guy come out and do service on them. I believe they might be coming out again but maybe not. I don't know. The Davey Tree Expert Co -North Cincinnati came out around the March time period as well, probably early. They started a little early and looked at everything and then they came back. They might have to come back again to treat the trees at a particular time. I don't know as my husband handles all of that. I know the guys now. We felt that the cost was worth it. The trees that we had them do were very mature so they would be very, very expensive to replace. I would grade them all 'A's across the board. I would use this provider again in the future. The Davey Tree Expert Co -North Cincinnati were great. They came recommended to us actually by another company. We asked the other company at the time and they recommended The Davey Tree Expert Co -North Cincinnati. They were very reputable and they were very punctual. I give five stars on everything.

Out of 4 services I called, Davey was the only one to show up at all. After meeting that low bar, they continued to amaze by being punctual, professional, and tidy! Brian was very conscientious about contacting us about every step even though we are hard to reach. Very happy with this crew.

Great experience! Really pleased. Reasonably priced.

Gave professional estimate. Knowledgeable and informative. Removed trees about three weeks later. Following day removed debris and stump grinders came in to grind stumps. The tree removal process was done very well. The stump grinding tore up the entire yard. Large ruts were left in the ground from stump to stump. Major work now required to repair front yard. Left message about problem and never received call or email back. The District Manager came to view the damage done by the equipment. He assured me the work would be corrected within the next couple of weeks. He apologized for not responding. After researching the issue he realized the email had ended up in the "junk" email and had not been reviewed. He indicated that they are addressing this problem so that it does not happen in the future.

Davey Tree Service left an estimate to grind 8 bush stumps on my front door. I signed the proposal to accept the proposal and mailed it to them. They came the next week and ground up the stumps. I barely noticed they had been there and finished the job until I noticed they were gone. They leveled the ground where the stumps had been so that it was barely noticeable. I am very happy with the fast efficient service. They fertilize trees and bushes also. I accepted the proposal for that also. I'm not sure it they already did it or are coming back. They also offer lawn care services.

They said they could probably save one tree. For the other tree, they gave it a 50 50 chance of success. I am going to have that tree removed due to ash borer damage. The tree that they said they could probably save appears to be doing well.

The work went very well. The crew was careful to clean up well and haul away all brush. The stumps were ground the same day which was nice. The whole job was carefully done. SOme trees were hard to cut without disturbing the surrounding landscape. I was happy to see they worked carefully and surgically to remove the trees without damaging the shrubs.
