It was fine. The experience was good. I've had good service from them and they have done a good job. They are a little pricey. They were punctual. They were professional.

It was excellent. This is about the third time I used them. I would use them again. They were very professional. They have very professional and knowledgeable staff. They were very personable and professional.

That was very good. It was easy. It was quick. It was done well. I have used them twice.

It was fine. They did what they came to do. That was fine. He did inform us when they were coming. The work turned out fine. They were a little expensive.

They have done really well and then we lost three pine trees that I told them for two years to look at and to check and then we lost them. They like to prune but sometimes they don't want to come to treat diseases I think we have a lot to be desired on a lot of companies for that.

He came out on time and very friendly. well written estimate of exactly what was to be done. I got 5 estimates for this job and they were the second most expensive. If not for price I probably would have hired them. A large company that pretty much does it all.

Called Davey for an estimate, and an estimator named Brian came out. He gave me my estimate, but I have a sister that works for Davey and she was told family members get a 10% discount on services. When I called Brian and asked if we qualified for the discount, he was very wishy-washy and seemed annoyed. He said he'd have to ask two of his managers about it, and was a little huffy, but he said he's call me back by the end of the day. That was 3 weeks ago, and I've never heard back from him. Needless to say I'm having the work done by another company, Davey clearly doesn't stand by what they tell their employees, and they don't even have the decency to call customers back.

The service was great from start to finish. It was a difficult job due to the location of the the trees, proximity to the neighbor's deck, and the extent of the surrounding garden. The trees were removed with surgical skill. Clean-up was great. The workers arrived on schedule and were courteous.

The estimator arrived as scheduled. I received a call later in the day stating that they were not interested in the job. Mind you, I am a repeat customer who spent thousands of dollars and paid for my services on the spot. What bothered me most is that the estimator Thomas did not give me a reason or suggest another company who may be better suited for the job. I was shocked. I guess they only want the easy jobs. If you have a tree in the woods or on a hill do not bother calling this company! And do not expect them to care if you are a good customer or give you the decency of quality customer service.

They were fine. The service was fine. The reason I switched is because somebody called and came and they offered me a little bit better price and more visits and I said fine. I wasn’t dissatisfied with them. It’s just somebody came with a better price.

It would be nice to have an advanced notice of when they're coming. They do a decent job.

We were pleased with the job that Davey did and would use them again. The representative who came out to give an estimate was knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out recommendations for the trees and also had copies with him of the company's liability and Workman's Compensation insurance policies which was nice to see from a tree trimming company. The company uses arborists, an added plus in keeping trees healthy. The lead time between the estimate and having the work done was 6 weeks which the estimator told us. The showed up promptly on the scheduled day and did a fantastic job trimming the trees, giving them an aesthetically pleasing look when finished. They did a great job cleaning up afterward. We were billed for the amount quoted by the estimate (the price was comparable to other estimates obtained).

Overall the services went well. I did have to call and ask when the pruning was going to be completed. When it was complete I was slightly disappointed the shape of the trees were not adjusted to the pruning so they looked more balanced.

They did an excellent job of trimming the trees and cleaning up afterward. No debri left lying around at all. However could improve on scheduling and communication. When estimate was given on 6/25, was told the work would be done week of 7/6 due to vacation schedules, however no one ever came. Received call early in the week after that to let me know that someone would be out on 7/15 but then got call that day to say they were held up at earlier job, would not make it and someone would contact me to reschedule. After 2 days without contact, I called them. Got scheduled for following week and work was completed on 7/21. The trees look great and the price was competitive with quote received from another company, I just didn't anticipate it would be almost a month after quote for work to be complete. Would still recommend due to quality of work.

I am very happy with them. And I would use them in the future.

We cancelled it this year because we felt they were way too expensive with the trimming of few bushes. We were very happy. We thought it was reasonable. I wanted them to trim about 2 feet off the top of four evergreens and they wanted us to charge $450. That was way too expensive. Last year, they did great.

They have performed service for us here.

We've had them several times in the past. The reason we stick with them is because we feel they are the best. They do a good job. They have the equipment, they come out with a crew, they get the job done and they are out of here. They don't mess around. There's no question about safety and insurance. They are a full fledged company and they are professional. Their price is a little on the higher side. You call them, they send an estimator out and he'll give you a quote. Once you decide to do it, they'll schedule it and get it done. As far as I remember, they were prompt. If we had a problem or needed help, they would definitely be the first I'd call.

It's been fine. They're been responsive and hope that what they were doing would show up. They've been very cordial and were sure about what they were doing and why they were doing it. We called them because they have work done in our neighbourhood.

Their pricing is definitely competitive with other tree services in the area. They were quick to come out and get the job done.

Darn Ash Bores! We were very careful not to bring firewood from other counties and we kept an eye on our trees....especially the 60 year old ASH tree that WAS a focal point of our yard. Last year we lost some lower limbs on the Ash trees but didn't think much about it because the top looked good and had leaves. I even looked for those "D" shaped holes...never saw this coming. Then in the spring, reality hit. It was very apparent that we had lost a dozen or so trees. In addition to cutting down and removing our huge Ash tree at the back and another huge one at the side of our home, Davey also trimmed 12 or so huge trees in the front of our property. Every person we met from Davey Tree was professional, nice, and positive. They also seemed to love the company and worked well as a TEAM. We saw everyone pitch in to get the job done. Of course some guys climbed trees and others stayed on the ground but when a tree went down, they all pitched in to clean it up...they were like an army of ants. My husband and I were so impressed that we have now hired them to do other tree work this year that we knew would have to eventually be addressed.

Davey is great. I love them because they did the job properly and they had suggestions. The work was excellent.
