I contacted Rachel's Cleaning Services to conduct a chimney sweep so we could start using our fireplace that had been unused for a few years. Tim and Joe contacted me the day of our appointment to ask if they could arrive a little earlier due to a cancellation, and then started right to work upon arrival. Both gentlemen were extremely helpful in explaining what they were doing and thankfully they noticed some issues within the firebox that were potentially hazardous. Tim tuck pointed the inside of the firebox, and even created a makeshift "door" for my cold air intake that had broken and was letting the outdoor air blow right into our living room. I would highly recommend this company and specifically Tim and Joe to work on your chimney needs.

No communication at all. Sent a message through the Angie's list console a week ago to set up service. No response. Tried calling this week, no answer. Tried contacting through contractors website. No response. Finally, I had to get a refund from Angie's list on the coupon because the contractor simply would not respond.

A+++ Rachel's was great! Tim and Joe showed up on time and were friendly and professional. We had moved into a new house and didn't know how to use the gas fireplace and wanted an inspection before using it. They were thorough and took the time to explain everything and how to safely use the fireplace. They also came across some repairs previously done (by another company) and took photos of some issues with the work so it could be corrected. They were not pushy and their quote was very fair and the photos were very helpful so we could see exactly what the issues were. They then took 'after photos' AND offer a warranty on much of their work. Cant say enough good things about them and will hire them again for sure!

The techs arrived about 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment. Were friendly and professional. Pointed out the leak and said he would get on the roof and take pictures of the inspection. He showed me the pictures and explained the source of the leak (loved this). He gave an estimate of the additional repair (no pressure) but also said he could repair that day. Also did after pictures and provided a 10 year warranty. He took the time to show me how to operate the fireplace and did a great job.

These guys were great! They showed up on time and were friendly and professional. They ended up coming across shotty work that was done by a previous contractor and offered to correct it at a competitive cost. They even took time to show my wife how to turn on the gas fireplace and safely operate it. Cant say enough good things about them and will hire them again for sure!

Great! Tim and Joe were professional, courteous, and extremely thorough. They found some major flaws in work done two years ago by a different chimney sweep company and not only explained the flaws but fixed the issues for us without charge. They went above and beyond the expected services that day and we will definitely ask them back when it is time for our next sweep.

Great. They took pictures and showed me where water was coming in between the flue and the brick, epoxied all the cracks and installed a cap. Very professional and punctual.

Was scheduled to come last week was called 15 minutes before was supposed to be at house supposedly someone was hurt rescheduled for following week still no show the main person Bill is who i talked to and he said i cancelled but i let him know he did cancel not me and not showing up for reschedule was unacceptable and i was going to ask for refund and find someone else

Turns out our chimney on our 1928 home we purchased a year ago, is in great shape and was really clean, which is welcome news.

Still waiting for company to come in & do the work Mother Nature not cooperating. They said they are running way behind schedule, they haven't been able to give me a date once they come do the work I'll update the review

Both services, the initial cleaning and the ceramic coating, when very well.

It was not messy at all. Three or four people came out to do the job.

They got there quickly and they did a good job. The weather was bad and they were back logged, but I told them it was urgent because of the overflow. They were able to push us up and get it done, I was happy with the work.
