They did a great job. After the inspection they provided photos and an estimate of the needed repairs. We then hired them to take care of the chimney and fireplace repairs. They were very accommodating as far as scheduling and even moved the appointment up a week to assist us. After the repairs they provided before and after photos. I would definitely use them again.

A two-man team arrived within a few minutes of the scheduled time, and the service call was reasonably quick (20-30 minutes). They did a great job cleaning out the chimney flue and they used plastic sheeting to help keep the surrounding area clean. In the past, I've used a company with a truck-mounted vacuum, but this crew used a portable wet/dry vac with a hepa filter. I preferred this approach because it was less intrusive. No need for a long hose running all the way to the truck (especially bad during inclement weather). Overall, I was very pleased. I would use them again.

It went very well. The fellow knew what he was doing, and adjusted the logs and fireset for a better and more pleasing flame. They also cleaned some soot on the logs and in the firebox. They were quick and punctual. Very pleased with their service.

They have provided several services for me from landscaping to roofing to chomney repair to gutter cleaning. Always prompt, professional and reasonably priced.

I first hired them to clean my gutters and they did a better job than anyone else I've ever hired from Angie's List. I then had them come back for some roof/chimney work and also a landscaping job to divert water away from the house to keep the basement from flooding. They are great people, hard workers and the only ones I trust to do work for me. There aren't many honest contractors out there anymore so finding RCS has been a blessing!

Went well. I was not on site for either of the service calls so did not meet in person or observe the work but i am happy with what they did and how they communicated.

I was called right away to set up for the inspection and cleaning. The guys showed up on time and were very professional. Upon inspection of the chimney, they found some cracking. I was given a run down on the process to fix it and an on the spot price. We then made the appointment to have the work done. I highly recommend this company!!!! Will definitely be using them again.

I signed up for their Angie's List featured coupon for chimney cleaning and inspection and they responded within a couple of hours to set up the appointment. They were right on time, professional, courteous, and left everything very clean.

I first contacted Rachel's with a Next Door coupon for chimney cleaning and inspection and later had them come back to seal and clean the fireplace for safety. They came promptly, did a very nice job - without making any mess at all, and charged me exactly what they said they would without trying to over-sell me on any additional services. Professional, friendly and efficient.

They arrived on time and promptly checked out both fireplaces. They made sure both were fully functional and cleaned them. They also gave us feedback on what size fires we could safely used based on the size of the fireplace.

Easy to schedule, arrived on time & performed work expected!

They were booked out a few weeks, but did arrive as scheduled and in time for 2 separate properties. Our 2nd property had s sealed, wood burning fireplace that we wanted to open up to make usable. They were able to Open everything up and fireproof spray the brick on our 1st appointment. The chimney did require some additional work that was scheduled several weeks later. The weather did not cooperate and it had to be rescheduled twice, but they were very good about letting me know ahead of time and rescheduling to a time convenient for me. This is my 3rd chimney cleaning with them and I would definitely recommend.

After scheduling through Angies list, they did not respond for over a week. After Angies list reached out to them, I received a call to schedule the appointment, but not until I was told it was my fault they didn't contact me. My chimney may or may not have needed cleaned as I did this purely because it was a new home I had purchased and had no idea if/when the previous owners cleaned it. Presumably, they cleaned the roof correctly, and thoroughly. My issue came about 10 minutes after they left when the house was freezing because these two chimney service "professionals" didn't know how to close the flue. ...not that they forgot... but that it was opened too far (perhaps needed done to clean?) and put back sideways. So looking up from the firebox, instead of a closed flue, it looked like a cross which obviously stops no air at all from coming in. They did not tell me of this issue.... just left saying it was a done job. They were inexpensive, but i suppose if you sit there and watch them do the work they might be worthwhile.

They were very prompt, professional and seemed knowledgeable about the services. A technician located a fire hazard in our chimney and recommended tuckpoint repair, which was offered at a fair price. He also replaced our chimney topper to ensure the safety of our roof. The chimney was cleaned and our carpet was protected. They were sure to were booties on their feet while in the house and were very courteous of our safety, due to the fumes from spraying a heat protected paint in our fireplace box. We will definitely call them in the future for our chimney cleaning and maintenance.
