Rachel's Chimney responded quickly. They did crown repair, tuck pointed the firebox and painted it black. They were polite, tidy and did a great job at a reasonable price. I will definitely call them again!!

The fireplace in my 1920's home has been out of commission for years, so I called Rachel's to come and do an inspection and see what needed to be done to get it up and running. They were going to clean the chimney, but the damper is actually welded in place so my chimney is essentially useless, so I have to have a ventless fire insert. They also found some cracks in the fireplace that they repaired and they climbed on the roof to find some damage on the chimney because it had never been covered. They made a stainless steel cover for my chimney and installed it. All of this work was done in a couple of weeks, and the price was fair. They were very responsive on the phone and do work on the weekends, which is the only time I'm available. Would definitely recommend again, and in fact I'm using them again to install the new ventless gas fireplace log set that I purchased elsewhere.

They checked the chimney and the cap, took a picture and showed me it was all good. I also had them clean out the bottom part of the fireplace for a additional cost. They laid a plastic trap down to save the carpet and were very professional.

Before the chimney cleaning could commence, they had to dislodge a raccoon who had built a home on top of the flue in my chimney. Critter removal was done with care and no additional cost except that they recommended and I agreed that they should put a screen over the top of the chimney to dissuade any other critters. They thoroughly cleaned the chimney and fireplace which was a lot more work due to all of the stuff from the raccoon. They also repaired the grout and painted the inside of the fireplace. Despite all of this they left absolutely no mess.

great...given inclement weather (freezing in gutter), they worked with me to find an alternative date once the weather/temps improved.

Due to weather, the company rescheduled the original date. Came out on the rescheduled date and cleaned out the chimney. Went up on the roof and found a couple of cracks in the crown and flashing. Offered to fix for $400 with a 10 year guarantee.

The experience was great. Good family business that has been doing it for a long time and they know what they are doing. My wife and I feel much safer now! We use our fire place more than most. Our home inspector didn't catch the hazards that Rachel's fixed for us.

It went really well, they went above and beyond cleaning the gutters of the free-standing garage/tool shed.

The services provided we very good. The two men were professional. They told me what was good and what needed repaired. I needed repairs and they offered a quote for the services but were not pushy about getting done and encouraged obtaining comparison opinions and quotes.

This was a big deal purchase. For what they did, it was fine. I ended up having them do some extra work so I paid the $75 for the gutter cleaner, which is what I had asked them to do. But then I had them back to do some chimney work. They had one or two guys to do the gutter cleaning. They did the gutter cleaning within a few hours.

I think they had three or four guys here to do the work. The main person that came out was the owner, or cousin of the owner. He was very professional, knew what he was doing and answered questions without any hesitation.

The Rachel's Cleaning and Service techs were great! They thoroughly cleaned and inspected the inside and outside of the fireplace and chimney. They were very good about keeping the mess confined and cleaned up after themselves. They offered a good price for preventative maintenance repairs that will need to be made in the future. They were slightly late for the appointment, but called and let me know beforehand when they would be there. After all was finished and they had left, they realized they had forgotten to put my damper plate back on track and called me to return to fix it, but I had already popped it back in place when I inspected their work. I was very happy with the service and will hire them again.

The 2 men who came to my home were very nice, helpful, and informative. I had a problem with the door on my fireplace not closing completely, they worked on it until they got it fixed. They told me to call them back if I experienced any more problems. I will definitely use them again!

The two gentlemen did a very professional job. There was no mess made when they swept the chimney, they also inspected the working mechanism's and explained how they worked to me so I could use the fireplace this winter.
