I thought they were very qualified. I was disappointed that the work exceeded the estimate they gave us. However, the workmanship was very good.

They do everything from putting on overshoes when they come into your house. They have got vacuums, so if they make a mess, they actually go and clean it all up. They take a lot of professional pride in their work. They show you what they are doing, so that you can also go ahead and do it the next time if it is something new. They buy supplies and leave it with me, so they don t have to go out again the next time it is needed. Those are some of the things that set them apart, and I am willing to pay a higher labor rate for that level of service.

Wonderful experience. They continue to go above and beyond my expectations. I can't wait to use them for some upcoming concrete repair and basement remodels. I recommend them highly.

I called Don at this company on a Sunday; he returned my call within 1 hour. I explained that the installers from the store where I purchased my new dishwasher were unable to remove the old one without damaging the countertop and floor tile. Don assured me that their skilled workman could solve my problem. He quoted me a price, explained the amount time it would take, what I would be responsible for and the name of the workman (Isidro) who would coming to the house. We scheduled a mutually convenient appointment, and the workman arrived on time and prepared. He evaluated the problem, and within 10 minutes was able to solve it. The old dishwasher was removed with no damage to the counter or floor tile and the new dishwasher was installed and fully operational within the time frame quoted to me. Isidro was efficient, personable and most importantly, extremely skilled. He even cleaned up, vacuumed and took the old dishwasher away. I will be using them for any future repair needs. I have already recommended them to friends and co-workers.

It went great. He spent almost 8 hours here. The price also included the price of the paint, aluminum coil, and the aluminum break rental and caulking. Charlie was very talented, professional, friendly, and efficient.

The service was good; they were here when they said they would be. We had to wait on insurance, though. They did what they were supposed to do, and we are very satisfied with the work. We would definitely recommend them to anyone! In fact they even pointed things out to me, like my screen, they just went the extra mile.

They were punctual and readily available. The person who completed the job was friendly and professional. The work they did was fine, but very simple in nature. However, their pricing scheme is not acceptable to me. An experienced carpenter would have been able to size up the work I needed and provide a reasonable time & price estimate up front. Instead, they do not commit to a time frame, they impose a substantial fuel charge, they require that you pay the hourly skilled labor rate for the time required to shop for supplies (a full hour in my case), they charge an additional 30% mark up on the materials they buy for you and then without asking they keep the left over materials that they did not fully use on your job. If you consider all the various forms of price padding, it becomes apparent that you are paying them considerably more per hour to shop for you than you are paying them for actual skilled labor. I felt this was not acceptable. I brought these issues up with them, and explained in detail as I did above. They did reduce the charges to my credit card, but only somewhat, and it was clear that they stand by their pricing policies. I think it's great that they require full background checks on their employees, but I could just as easily have asked around at work for a reliable carpenter.

They provided an estimate by phone, and service was performed shortly after phone contact. The service man arrived promptly and performed all the duties cleanly and efficiently. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and therefore inexpensively the repairs were accomplished! I'll definitely use them again when I need assistance.

I used a coupon for them. They charge labor for the first hour, and then they charge in 15 minute increments. There was a fuel charge as well. They also charge 30% over the materials that they purchase, because they guarantee them for a year. It took him about a half an hour to do the fireplace cover. The man had to take the old wood out and do some work to get the new piece in. This job took him about an hour. It looks good. The responsiveness was good. He explained everything well. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

This company is outstanding. Their repair professional showed up the day after the storm hit. I was the first in my neighborhood to have someone respond. He was extremely polite, efficient, professional, and qualified to perform initial repairs and the estimating that I needed for my insurance adjuster. Not only that, but I received a formal email survey after the service from their general manager, Don Kennedy, asking me for my opinions and responses to their service. I was blown away since I usually expect some pretty poor service and follow up from repair companies. I have several future projects such as painting, drywall repair, and holiday light hanging that I will be calling them to do. I recommend them highly. They are worth every penny.

I used a coupon for them in the Angie's List Publication. I thought the price was a little high, but the work itself was good. They did a great job. I was not really happy with the sales process, however, I told them that I had done with work with another handymen company. The lady on the phone told me that they charged $75 per hour, but she failed the tell me that they charged per person. Two men came, and I ended up paying $140 per hour. They told me when they arrived that it would not take more than one hour. The door installation itself ended up taking about four hours. They also sold me on redoing a concrete step, which I am happy with. I was just expecting to pay a certain price, and it was a lot more than that. I feel that they took advantage of me a little in that aspect. They would not be my first choice for work in the future.

The quality of work was good. The price was a little high. They did not take down any of the siding during the job, but we have not had any problems with it. They were pretty responsive and did good work, but price is pretty important to me. I would consider using them again in the future.

I could put the ninety dollars towards the repair if I use them. I just don't think that is fair because what if I don't use them. Nobody likes to pay money before the work is done.

Arrived on time, didn't have a long enough ladder for the height of the work. Explained that he would have to leave and get a higher ladder and this time would not be charged for. Came back and performed the work occasionally asking for information on how we would like things to be installed.

This company did a great job fixing my fence! I spoke with Trinity and scheduled an appointment. On the day they were to arrive, we had to reschedule because of bad weather. He arrived day of appointment on time. His co-worker got lost so he arrived late, but called to let us know. I went over what needed to be repaired and was given an estimate. I then left for work. He called me at work from Home Depot to let me know what options were available for the post caps and the costs. He also went next door and spoke with the neighbor to let him know what they were going to do and make sure they weren't going to inconvenience him. He called me again in the afternoon to let me know that they had finished. The Handyman came back a few days later to go over the invoice with me and remove 2 x 4s that were holding fence straight while it dried. This company gladly accept the Angie's List coupon and did not charge me for the second visit. Several neighbors have commented on how great the fence looks.

The company was professional right from the start. I scheduled my appointment and told them I was traveling from out of town to get to my rental property where this work was needed, they knew right away that this appointment could not be changed (as did my last try where the man cancelled on me an hour before our appointment). Logan, my handyman, was on-time and courteous. He came prepared to work all day on my bathroom. He only had to go out to get materials once. He had worked 8 hours straight and the project took him two days. My rental property's shower looks so good. I was pleased with the work. It was almost as good as having new tiles put in, but of course, that would have costed much more. I would use him again.

Very prompt call back after submitting work request on website. Arranged to have the carpenter come the following day. He arrived early, which was fine, assessed the situation and provided a time estimate. After further inspection, damage was more extensive than it appeared. One of the repairs required some fairly complex, painstaking carpentry. The work was very very well done.

My wife noticed a patch in our master bathroom ceiling was getting wet, so I called this company to take a look. Mr. Brent Kraft came out the same week and looked at the ceiling and climbed on our roof to investigate. He found that the rubber boot and flashing had separated from a plumb vent on the roof. He immediately went to get some caulk and caulked both the plumb vent above the leak, but also caulked the other plumb vents as well. Finally, he told me before he left what he had done and don't worry about paying the bill just check on the patch in the bathroom in a couple of weeks and if the problem is resolved he'll fix the drywall and settle up then. Great I thought surprised, who actually does that anymore? A few weeks later the patch looked like the leak had stopped and by then my wife also pointed out the caulk in our shower needed some help, so I called and Ted was sent out to fix the drywall and recaulk the shower. He also taught me how to caulk next time myself.

THE JOB WENT WELL, JOHN HAD TO TROUBLESHOOT ASSEMBLY OF LIGHTS. FIGURED OUT ASSEMBLY AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB HANGING THEM. LIGHTS LOOK GREAT! WAS VERY COMFORTABLE WITH JOHN. HE SAID HE WOULD ARRIVE @ 9:00 A.M. AND WAS RIGHT ON TIME. JOHN REPLACED WEATHER STRIPPING ON BOTTOM OF GARAGE AT NO CHARGE. MAN THAT'S ALMOST UNHEARD OF NOW A DAYS. THANK GOD FOR ANGIE'S LIST AND THIS COMPANY.

After filling out a work request form on their website, I received a call the next business day from Mr. Kennedy who agreed to send a craftsman to provide an estimate for the work. Brent Kraft arrived at the agreed upon time and date and provided an estimate for the work. He also agreed to purchase a new set of shutters to match the rest of the house. He went to work on the agreed upon day and reattached all the shutters with metal bolts. Since none of the local suppliers had the type of shutters we needed in stock, Mr. Kraft ordered a new pair and informed me he would finish the job once the shutters arrived. Approximately 2 weeks later when the shutter was delivered Mr. Kraft finished the job and touched up all the bolt heads with exterior paint to match the shutters. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of his work and his communication with me during the time the shutters were on order, so I would know that he was still committed to completing the job.

First Jack removed the old door and casing, then he framed out the new opening and cleaned up the debris from the removal and framing. He then placed the new door, shimmed, plumbed the new door, attached it and hung the trim around the door. Upon completion he removed all trash and vacuumed up.

The workman, Jack was on time, neatly dressed and worked without making a mess. He needed to go to the hardware to get some supplies and, since he was very experienced he only needed to make one trip (never happens when I do projects myself). Since he was experience, he knew where the grab bars were most likely needed. He asked me to check to be sure they would work for me. He was right about the locations. In one case some faucets, which were not interchangeable needed to have their handles be reversed. (The cold, in blue was on the hot faucet). I was stumped. He got some paint and repainted the handles. There was more work to be done than could be completed in one visit. I was glad to have Jack come back and do additional work since he works efficiently and is reliable. I am glad to recommend this company to others and will use them again.
