They are always very helpful and patient with answering questions. They look at the whole property and not just the trees they are called to do work on. They provide free estimates.

Madison tree service came out and inspected the trees that surrounded our home. They did a great job. They were always very respectful and they made sure that we were happy with the work they were doing.

They did a good job cleaning up the yard after this major project!

They were here within days after we had scheduled. They didn't ruin the property with their trucks. They left the area just as they had found it. There was no mess after they had left. They were efficient and prompt.

Jon Butcher very professional and prompt in his estimate, plus informed me entire tree is doomed; will probably need to come down in next 5 years or less. He also gave me estimate of $6-7K for entire tree removal. The tree is very old and about 80-90 feet high. I've decided to let tree remain for awhile, as no immediate danger, and adjoining property is in foreclosure at the moment.

Their tree work is terrific. The landscape work was good but they don't draw up plans.

They showed up right on time, used a large truck with a cherry picker, and in order to get to my back yard had to use my neighbor's driveway. Because the driveway was too narrow for their truck wheels, they put down large wooden planks to keep from gouging the grass. They removed all debris, blew any sawdust into the street, and swept. Before they left, they asked me if I was satisfied with the work.

Very easy to work with. Detailed proposal with cost estimate. They were will to work with me on a time to do the work. They were very efficient. Respectful of property. Professional. Good job of cleaning up. Had liability insurance and Ohio Worker's Compensation. Information readily available.

They had to use a crane to lift it over the roof to the street and cut it in the street. They did a very good job. Very professional people.

I called Madison and asked them to give us an estimate on pruning the two large trees in our yard. Within a week we received the estimate by mail. Both trees needed extensive pruning. Madison also suggested that the large oak tree in our front yard would benefit if we installed a cable system. When I called to ask what the cable system was, one of their tree care experts called me back promptly. He said that cable system extends the life of the tree by diminishing movement between the large branches. We then decided to have Madison both prune the trees and install the cable system. They did an excellent job pruning the trees. To prune these trees, the Madison employees actually climbed up into the trees (not an easy job, considering that the first level of branches on our oak tree are at least 20 feet off the ground!). The trees have a more symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing shape following Madison's work. All of the persons that we talked to were courteous.

We've used them before. They do a good job for us, and we'll continue to use them.

It was a big job, but it went over without a hitch. They are very prompt. I think they are an excellent company overall.

Job was completed about as scheduled. Foul weather did delay some work but that was not the Madison Tree folks' doing. They had to work around the weather. All in all, a nice, clean job.

Bid was provided quickly. I faxed back the signed proposal and for some reason it didn't go through. When I followed up they came out the next day to do the work.

They arrived right on time to conduct the estimate. They promised to complete the work in approximately 6 weeks. It ended up being closer to 7 weeks, but we had a rainy period which would have delayed their ability to do the work. When I called at 6 weeks for an update on when the work would be completed, they gave me a specific day and time. Their estimate was accurate. They completed the work when they said they would. All debris was cleared as promised, in fact they left it looking better than it was when they arrived!

All the employees were very professional. The estimate was the lowest of three we obtained. The work was done well and the yard was left spotless when they were through. They were agreeable about removing an extra limb I requested after they thought they were done (this involved going back up in a large tree). One tree was pruned using a lift; they put sheets of plywood down, drove the truck on those, and protected the yard.

Trees and shrubs in our back and side yards have become over grown since we planted them 17 years ago. Some needed to be removed while others needed to be pruned back. Madison's work crews did excellent work in all aspects of the job. All was professionally done so the yard looked natural as an end result and not scalped as amateurs would have done. I'll use Madison Tree again!

They did exactly what they said they would do. Removed the large Locust trees without damaging the maples right next to them. They did an excellent job.

With regard to the quality of work- I don't know tree care so I can only say the overhanging limbs are gone, the branches are up off my roof, & I haven't had as many dead branches falling out of my trees during high winds & heavy rains. The other company that gave me an estimate on similar work (they would have cut back 2 additional limbs in one tree) stated when they were done that I wouldn't have to have my trees trimmed for another 10 years. (their quote was more than twice as much as the cost I paid.) So I guess the quality of the actual tree trimming/cleaning out won't be known for a number of years. That is why I relied on recommendations.

Madison Tree is extremely knowledgeable. They know their business. They took the time to walk around my entire yard with me as I drew rough sketches so I could identify & label all the various trees & planting at our new home. When some of the cypress trees the previous owner had planted were in trouble, they came out, evaluated the situation, & gave us advice even though we didn't purchase the trees. The previous owner of the house had purchased the trees from Madison 18 months before.

The spring clean-up went well, but the lawn edging & weed control left a lot to be desired. The tree & shrub Pruning was not properly done, the plants were not properly trimmed to maintain shape. The weed & mite control was applied long after problems were apparent.

Excellent service. Knowledgeable staff and very professional work. Existing landscaping was left intact following tree and stump removal in a tight area. The new trees appear to be healthy and of high quality. It took a while to get the work done however - possibly due to high demand. But I still highly recommend this company for all tree services.
