Have used this service multiple times between 2006 and 2009 On each occasion, biggest issue was with timing between quote and services (span of months). Services/Quality/Professionalism were fine. Felt pricing was steep for the services received.

Project ran very smoothly despite the logistical challenges of getting a very large crane in a very tigh spot. There was no damage and they cleaned everything up really thouroughly.

They respond well; their service is timely. We are able to get out in the morning when it snows in the night. Their price is fair.

We had gotten several estimates earlier in the summer. Then we asked Madison to return to validate the estimate given as well as add another tree to be trimmed. We scheduled the work and they arrived as promised. They did a wonderful job and cleaned everthing up well. There was one tree that was hanging over the fence and growing into our neighbor's tree and they patiently looked over the situation and suggested the best way to trim so that both trees looked good and looked natural. All the trees are very mature and were in desperate need of some attention. They all look fabulous and we know that they are now healthier. Madison was very professional and easy to work with.

Excellent. Both trees removed to the ground as requested. Team arrived on time, worked through cold (less then 20 degrees), and cleaned up afterwardsm especially the patio which looked better afterward than before they started. Stacked the wood in the front yard and made sure that we had someone to pick up the wood. Very polite, kept me informed as they worked.

They came out and sent me a quote. I faxed back my approval, which unfortunately didn't go through - I don't know if the issue was on my end or theirs. After a very windy day I called and asked for an expedited removal - I was afraid the tree would fall on my neighbor's house. They came the next day. They removed the tree and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves - you could barely tell they were there except for the removed tree.

They came when they said they would and did a good job. I had used them in the past and decided to use them again. I always have a great interaction with the people in the office. Most of the people who come out to do work are great.

They have been involved in huge projects with us, because we had large tree come down or were deceased and we had to get them off the property. They have had to bring large machinery to do the work and they have always done a terrific job. They have been careful not to damage anything and professionally, and I have always been very impressed with them.

They come here very often as we have a large yard and also have a yearly contract with them. This year they will be digging around the beds and putting mulch which is something we haven?t done before.

They did a great job, but it took them 7 months to get to me but I had confidence that they would do the best job.

They were very professional, friendly, and did a good job. They cleaned up before they left. Their pricing was on the higher side, but I m satisfied with their service. The quality of work was very good as well.

They are dependable and always show up when they are supposed to. If we neeed something special done they can always take care of it.

They have crews that specialize in the different aspects of tree services, and they sent the same crew out for both jobs. They were excellent.

I called to ask for an estimate for removing a birch tree in our front yard. The tree was damaged by the ice storm last week. There is also a large pine in our back yard that needs some trimming. Unfortunately, Madison charges $25 to first time customers for coming out to give estimates. The woman on the phone was very polite, but I do not feel comfortable paying for an estimate if I'm not sure I'll use the company in the end. New customers be advised - you have to pay a $25 estimate fee up front. This cost is reimbursed to you should you decide to use the company.

Madison was hired first to seed the front lawn and then to mow the grass for a home we were preparing to sell after we moved to another city. They billed us for mowing every single week- including periods of extreme drought. When the house was listed we asked Madison to give us an estimate for mulching the front beds of the house and for trimming a large, unsightly tree. Calls to their offices asking for this estimate were not returned for 7 to 10 days, and then we had to call again to get the final estimate from them. After 3 weeks they gave us an estimate of $1,200 for the work. They would not give us a firm date for when the work would be done so we were unable to arrange to be in Cincinnati to oversee their work. They did not trim the tree and never returned our calls when we inquired as to what was going on. They did other yard work instead of what was asked of them and still charged us the $1,200. The other yard work consisted of spraying Roundup on a weed patch and putting down mulch in the back of the house - which was not what we wanted. We are very unhappy with their lack of responsiveness and disinterest in fixing the problem.

The trees were covered in poison ivy and these guys amazed me. I thought that they were reliable and their safety practices seem to be very wonderful. I think they are good arborists too.

This is a family owned tree service. The young man who came out to my home told me that he used to come out with his grandfather who started the company. They are really top of the line. I needed his views on a tree that I feel uncertain about. I asked for his honest opinion, about whether or not it should come down. He told me exactly what his opinion was. He was very professional. He looked around and also gave me some extra advice.

They don't need your business - don't bother.

I called this company on Sept 17, 08 about removing a large branch that was leaning on my parents' house/roof. The damage was a result of the windstorm that caused Blackout '08. Their voicemail said they were only serving their existing customers. I think that during a time of community wide crisis, this is a narrow minded and cold approach. They should think like they're part of a larger community rather than just like a business at times like this. I suppose picking leaves up off the ground of an existing customer will make that customer happy and make them loyal, but what about the poor guy who may have had a tree block his road or cause a hole in his roof? My mom said, "well, a lot of businesses take that approach." That may be so, but I'm not an existing customer, and don't intend to become one in the future. They could at least have taken people's info and gotten back to the folks who needed them most. I'm sure they do good work, but their heart's in the wrong place.

I was very impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail and advice. I'd definitely ask them for an estimate in the future, we went with another company due to a slightly lower price and Angie's List discount.

Very good, awesome company and very responsive. Came back out same day after work was completed and redid some of the cabling as I was not 100% satisfied.

The first step was a quote and I was able to schedule the work at the same time. I did not have a rush on this and was advised it would be within 4 weeks. Madison was there in about 2 weeks. The job was completed professionally. They were able to use a crane to cut the first two, but had to rig lines to do the third tree. The trees where hard to get to and they were able to cut them down without any damage to other close trees and a fence. The wood was cut and stacked and the area was completely cleaned up.

I have had Madison tree service at my house several times they have removed trees from my back yard. They did a wonderful job and I would use them again in the future.
