We have been incredibly pleased with their services. They have specialists in each area, such as an arborist. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of tree planting, fertilization, etc. We really trust their expertise.

I was recommended to Madison via my boss and checked them out on Angie's. I have been burned too many times to trust other people's opinions, sad as it is to say. If Angie's gives them an A or A+ then I feel like it is safe. I called them up and quickly received a date for them to come give me an estimate. I don't have to be there, they are going to email it to me. That means a lot since my life is hectic right now. If they can fall in my price range then it's a go!

Their price was ridiculous. I showed the estimate to friends down the street who told me that this company was probably trying to take advantage of me. He didn't show up on the first day he said he would, so that wasted my time.

So far the story is incomplete as only the estimate and contract writing is done. I need to accept the contract (I want some minor changes) and then the work will be scheduled. The company was on time for the estimate process and the contract is quite comprehensive, I am impressed with the details covered. The estimate was higher than I expected but is satisfactory to me. The complete story will have to wait until the work is actually done.

Madison cut down a Bradford Pear tree that was right next to our house, about 30 feet tall. They removed branches first and then cut the trunk several feet at a time leaving about a 2 foot stump. About a week later they came to grind the stump. They put all the smaller branches into a wood chipper to be hauled away and they cut the larger branches and trunk into 2-3 foot pieces that we could use in our fireplace. They also stacked the wood. They did an excellent job of cleaning up all the stray wood pieces, wood chips and saw dust. They worked quickly, efficiently and professionally. We highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again.

The Estimator, Jay Butcher, was prompt, very courteous, and secured a broken limb to prevent it falling until the tree could be removed.The Company provided a very low bid and did the removal on the date planned.The crew was knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant to work with, and concerned with spectator safety. They provided references for insurance and liability. They completed the job on the same day with complete cleanup. I would not hesitate to use them again. I recommend them highly.

I will be calling upon them again.

Jonathan Butcher is a real asset to the company. He is really straight-forward and will not over-sell or make you feel uncomfortable. He explains things very well so everybody is on the same page. Madison stands by their planting and has a very professional staff, from the front desk to the actual workers. We've worked with others but not anymore . We've had them out for 3 jobs, 1 of which was rather detailed. Very pleased.

I talked to John Butcher on the phone about what we wanted. He made an appointment to give us an estimate He was only a couple of minutes late, but he called before the appointed time to let us know he'd be a bit late. As it was, he was probably less than 5 minutes late anyway. However, the call was appreciated. John gave us the estimate, which we agreed to, and scheduled the work. Tim Miller of Miller Nursery did the actual transplanting, as he had the equipment. The ground was soft, so there was lawn damage. However, we were made aware of that possibility ahead of time, and our window for safely transplanting the trees was closing quickly. We decided we'd sacrifice the lawn, as the trees took precedence. Tim and his helper were careful, but the lawn suffered anyway. The trees were transplanted, and we were very happy with the job. My wife discovered that John has since returned to stake one of the trees which was leaning a little. We have also scheduled for John to treat our 3 remaining ash trees for the ash borer.

The work went great. I was concerned they would not further damage the roof and the lawn. When they left you would never know they had been there. They were very protective of my roof and lawn. The price was very reasonable compared to other competitors.

The scheduling took place when we requested it. The workers were delayed by about 30 minutes for the landscape work, but we were notified of this ahead of time. The workers even apologized for the 30 minute 'late' start. This was a first for us! We have been used to having workers for other services from other companies be significantly late and not even call. Although there had been much rain in the recent days and hence it was very muddy, the workers were very careful not to damage the lawn with their equipment. They even swept up dirt that got in the street. The workers were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them. The root feeding for our two large spruce trees was done in a timely manner from when we first called. The trees really do look better after these feedings. Madison will be returning in the spring to spray the trees as well. We have used other tree services in the past for different services, and we were not pleased. We have been very happy with services from Madison.

They did a great job. They have a huge crane so they are able to do things that most tree companies can't do. They were responsive, quick and professional.

They did a decent job overall. They left some divets in the yard, which were repairable. They came back the next day and cleaned up the area, and did a good job. Overall, I was pleased with the work. The only negative I can think of is that they were somewhat on the expensive side, but probably not out of line with what others charge for the service. I would use them again, but would be careful to get at least one other estimate from another reputable company.

We called for an estimate and a consultation with the company arborist. He came out within a few days. He was on-time and very professional. He gave great advice on how best to trim several trees in our yard, even offering advice on those we could do ourselves. His strategy for trimming the two large trees that we needed assistance with seemed very appropriate....it was clearly based on a good deal of knowledge about the growth patterns of particular trees in combination with our space constraints (garage, utility lines, etc.). We received three offers. His offer was in the middle of the three, but he seemed, by far, the most professional of the three. We accepted his offer and he scheduled the service for about 4 weeks later (This was the only downside.....their schedule is quite full, so the work did not happen quickly after the quote. We were not in a hurry, so this did not bother us, but I suppose it would be a problem for some people). Two workers showed up on time, day of service. They trimmed the two trees very efficiently and competently. They looked great. Despite one tree hanging over a fence into our neighbors' yard, all branches trimmed were dropped onto our property without incident. Clean up was thorough.

They were very good. I didn’t use them because I found another guy who was better. The price quoted by Madison Tree Care & Landscaping seemed higher, but their professionalism and expertise was off the charts. They were on time and thorough as well. I would have loved to use them.

They are professionals of a high degree and seem to do a good quality job. They show up and make sure that your yard looks good when they are done. They take down the trees safely. I have some 80-foot ash trees right next to the house that are dying, and there would be major damage caused if they topple over. We have used their services over a number of years and my wife's father used them for a lot of years too since he was a home owner in the Cincinnati area. They seem to do the job well and they are insured and all that, and I think that is an important thing in their line of work which is pretty dangerous.

We use them regularly. We?ve used them for 20 years. They are good and they know what they are doing. They are very professional and they know their business. Jack Butcher is the head of the whole thing and he really knows what he is doing. They are professional arborists and they understand trees. You can ask them questions and they give good recommendations. They have been treating an oak tree in the front of our house that looked like it was going to die and it is still there. They are committed to making trees flourish instead of cutting them down if they don't have to. They are very professional and very knowledgeable. Their prices seem to be a little high but I haven't compared prices.

Madison's just completed the contracted work for this year. They are outstanding! I get lots of compliments on my yard and Madisons is a major contributor. Last fall they trimmed and fertilized trees and shrubs. This spring and summer they sprayed for garden pests. During the final spraying our dog (which is normally inside) came out from under the steps. The technican immediately stopped spraying and called my phone to leave a message that I should call the office when the dog was inside and he would return to complete the work. I also got a follow up from the office to ensure I got the message. I responded and the work was completed within a week!

They did a good job and were very professional. They cut down the large maple tree without doing any major damage to the lawn or the objects around it. They cleaned up the next day. They did a very professional job. However, they took a long time from the time they gave an estimate for the job, to the time when they actually finished the job.

Their main line of business is tree work and we have used them over the years. They have done tree maintenance and removal. They do a very good job and they are very professional. They have a well-trained staff. They are not the cheapest but I feel comfortable that they are not going to put their employees in harms way or harm my property. The seeding was about $400. They do quality work and you will pay for the quality. I would like their price to be a little cheaper.

I wasn't sure if I needed to cut the tree down or if I should leave it, as I was going to be building a house. They traveled a long way and only charged $10.00.
