Ken Ammon came out to provide the initial quote and oversaw the installation. He was on time, professional and courteous. On the day of the install it had snowed five inches and the temperature was in the single-digits. The crew came out nonetheless and got the job done. They work efficiently, and really seem to know what they're doing. They were prepared with all the necessary supplies and didn't even break for lunch. The job took two days but I never felt they weren't giving it 100%. I am very pleased with the price of the job and the installation. I will gladly use them again (and plan on signing up for their yearly service contract). There is a reason they get such high marks on Angie's List. That's how I found them and couldn't agree more with the many positive reviews.

Chris arrived right on time, vacuumed and cleaned unit, removed and replaced filters and educated us on aspects of the unit, including humidity management, filter requirements and maintenance. It was evident he was quite experienced and knowledgeable, which we value highly. He was pleasant and worked quickly and efficiently. A great purchase with a reputable company. We are very pleased.

Initial inquiry response was within an hour of my outreach. Appointment scheduled for the following week at my convenience. Worker showed up on time. Quickly went to work and completed the job. He double checked everything to make sure it was running smoothly after having been turned off for more than 6 months. All went well. Thanks

2 workers shows up before 9am, put down protective cloth from door to basement. One removed old furnace, coil while the other one worked on the outside A/C. Removed and patched old A/C support poles from outside wall , drilled and installed new lower support poles due the new unit is twice as tall as the old one. Installed bigger air return duct with the new furnace, humidifier and air filter. They worked without any break and completed the job at 4PM. Give me instructions on how to replace filter for humidifier and furnace plus how to set the programmable thermostat.

Technician (Chris) arrived on time. He'd said that the service call would probably take about 45 - 60 minutes time, which was accurate. In the past I've had service men advise me of problems which I later found not to be the case. This didn't happen with the service call today - all went well and the technician advised me that all was ok with both furnace and A/C.

The service went fine. They did exactly what the deal stated. My husband primarily dealt with the technician. We had no problem scheduling the deal and they came to the appointment on time.

He did a good job and it's working fine. It only took about an hour to do the work.

They’re excellent. They get right on everything and their timing is perfect. They put on booties when they come into the house. They also serviced a humidifier, but I knew ahead of time that there would be a charge for that.

Everything went well, I was afraid that we might be needing a new air conditioner so I was very happy to find that it was a simple fix. As he was filling out the bill I mentioned my Angie's membership and a coupon I had from them and he immediately subtracted $25 which was the value of the coupon. A few weeks later the conditioner quit again and Chris returned to see why it was not working. He discovered a worn wire that was rubbing and had shorted itself. He did not charge me anything for this second call but said he should have noticed that problem the first time. I was very happy about his service and consideration.

Had Bockrath provide an estimate for furnace replacement. I ended up not going with them, but they were my second choice, and I would not hesitate to call them for service or other needs. They showed 5-10 minutes before scheduled time for estimate, were friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all questions. They deal exclusively with Trane, and had a reasonable estimate for their furnace, but we ended up going with someone else.

I called and left a message, and within 15 minutes got a return call saying they could be here in an hour. I told them I had an appointment, so they shuffled their schedule around to get here EVEN SOONER!! My air conditioning was fixed literally 2 hours after I called. Extremely professional, very fair price, and great customer service. I will do ALL my HVAC servicing through Bockrath.

Ken is great! Honest, fair, and very knowledgeable. Our house was not keeping cool and Ken was able to provide suggestions to help spread the cool air, added a few lbs to A/C.

Very Happy with the service I received. Scheduling the appointment was very easy. Chris was on time for the appointment, and quickly performed the agreed upon work. If I need anything done in the future I will be calling them again.

Chris was fantastic. He was able to fix my unit on his way home. He brought what we needed and stayed until the unit was completely checked out. Total call time 25 min.

I have had excellent service through Bockrath on three separate occasions now. Chris has been extremely courteous and helpful. The first time I used them was over the winter when our furnace stopped working. They were the first company I called who could come out that day. He came to the house so fast--between other calls-- and showed me how to re-light the pilot. He didn't even charge me for the visit since it was such a small thing. It was such a nice gesture, and made me determined to call them when we need to have that monster of a furnace replaced! This time, I bought their AC tuneup service. It is slightly more expensive than some of the competition, but I trusted them to do a good job, and they did. And when it failed a few weeks later (for something unrelated to the AC system itself and unrelated to the tuneup) he came out immediately (within hours) and fixed the glitch for free. I couldn't have be happier with the company, and they will be my first call next time I need repair or replacement.

Chris arrived at the appointment time, was very professional and cleaned up after the work. He thoroughly checked the unit, the pressure and contactor. When we questioned him about the age of the equipment he was very honest in saying that it was in good shape and didn?t need to be replaced. We would highly recommend Bockrath HVAC to anyone and would call them again for any maintenance repair or upgrade

Our a/c wasn't cooling. I contacted the company who installed it approximately 10-15 years ago. (They've been doing routine maintenance on it since it was installed.) A technician came out & told me it would cost approximately $2500 to repair it & recommended we replace it at a cost of $3400. I checked Angie's List & saw that Bockrath HVAC was highly rated. Chris Ashcraft came out, checked the unit & said he could repair the leak in the cooling coil & recharge it. He did so for $425.00 & it has been working perfectly ever since. My son's air conditioning wasn't cooling either. I recommended Bockrath & Chris Ashcraft to him. Chris looked at it & repaired it as well, at a very reasonable cost. Ironically, the same company that said my unit needed to be replaced told my son his needed to be replaced last year. I would highly recommend Bockrath HVAC & Chris Ashcraft for any air conditioning needs. I plan on using them to service my hot water heating system in the fall.

The company thoroughly inspected all of components of the air conditioners and the lines to the furnace and outside. They found a part that was broken and they replaced that part and made sure that everything was in working order before they left. We felt t this company gave the time and attention to the job and wasn't trying to rush through it and be done! We are happy to know that our aging air conditioner can serve us for awhile longer. We would definitely recommend them to others.

Ken and his team arrived as scheduled and reviewed with me what was going to be done and if I had any questions. Ken reviewed again with the 2 installers, Nathan and James what needed to be done and he had to leave for other calls,their busy time of the year. He assured me I would be in good hands with Nathan and James. He was right. These 2 gentlemen were polite, professional and worked diligently until the job was completed. They cleaned up asked again if I had any questions and hauled the old unit away as well. I have used Brockrath HVAC for the past 2 years for annual tune-up and when this job came up, I knew there was no else I needed to call. Would recommend this company highly

I needed to replace 15 yr old unit. I do not live in Ohio, but 10 hrs away, and had limited time to get this done. I interviewed Bockrath, as well as another super service provider on your list. The salesman from Bockrath was hands down more knowledgeable and experienced than the other salesman from a LARGE competitor. It was obvious to me that Ken , from Bockrath new exactly what he was doing, and noticed things that were incorrect on the original install, and addressed them. I was impressed with his honesty, and would highly reccommend this company. They deserve the super service award they have!

I called Brockrath yesterday, Tuesday, 4/15, and asked them to come out and take a look at my heat pump, I didn't think that it was working. They said that they didn't have any open appointments until Thursday, 4/17, but if I would be available on short notice they might be able to get to me on Wednesday, 4/16. I received a call around 8:50 AM on Wednesday, 4/16, and Chris said that would be able to stop by in the early afternoon. Chris took a look at the heat pump, determined that it was not getting power, looked at the breaker box and determined that the electrical wire to the heat pump breaker was loose. He then tightened it up and said, "That was too easy, I'm not going to charge you." I was shocked...! He then said keep me in mind the next time you need some work done. I will certainly call Bockrath Heating & Cooling the next time I need any work done on my furnace.

We hired Bockrath to repair our sons air conditioner and Mark was fantastic he cleaned out a nest that a squirrel had made in the air conditioner and repaired the wire the squirrel had chewed through. Thanks to Mark it is working great!
