Dryer Vent Wizard of Greater Cincinnati

I signed up for this service through Angie's Big Deal. Although I sent them several e-mails they never responded to schedule the work. I finally had to ask Angie's list for my money back. Angie's List promptly refunded my money.

I called the Dryer Vent Wizard, after checking Agie's List. Scheduled an appointment. He gave a break on the price when I told him I was an Angie's List member. he showed up as promised, did the work and told me to call him any problems came up. I was satisfied with the work he did and the professionalism shown.

We had purchased a new washer & dryer. The previous dryed had been vented through a hold in the floor, followed by a 25' run of venting pipe along the basement ceiling, through to the outside. When the new dryer was installed, it was found that the rigid venting required by the manufacturer would not fit through the hole in the floor. The dryer was installed, and was shown to operate, but it was not vented at all. I had used Dryer Vent Wizard before, and had been pleased with their work, so I called them immediately to hook up the dryer vent. I did not request an estimate, but told them I wanted the dryer vented safely, legally, and so that it would not invalidate the manufacturer's warranty. They did all the following, mostly at my direct request: Enlarged the hole in the floor between the laundry room and the basement. -- My request. Installed an elbow of rigid metal to pass through the floor. -- Dryer manufacturer requirement. Replaced an existing piece of venting with one which did not interrupt the air flow. -- My request. Taped all the new fittings between venting sections. Replaced the outside vent cap with one which closes when there is no air flow through the vent. -- My requesrt. Cleaned the entire venting system, and checked the air flow through it. -- Dryer manufacturer requirement. My point in the above is that they did not create work to increase the cost. I knew before I called that nearly every step was necessary. The total charge was about $365. I was glad to pay it.

I have been watching for a particular Angie's List special for a while. I hadn't had my dryer vent cleaned In 9 years :{ and I thought the $79.00 special by Dryer Vent Wizard would be the way to go. I had a wonderful experience! Adam was thorough, friendly, and answered my questions completely. He also fixed the connection between the vent and hose (free of charge). My bath towels now dry in 1 cycle instead of 3. I definitely won't wait 9 years again and I know who to call - Dryer Vent Wizard.

I called on 10/18/2012, and I learned that they could service my dryer vent the same day. A service technician was at my home in about two hours. Adam, the service technician, went to work right away. He walked with me to the back of the house, where I showed him the outside dryer vent. He then got right to work back in the laundry room. He was done within 30 minutes. From the time that he arrived until the time that he left was about 45 minutes. The vent had been clogged, and I was very concerned that this was going to be a very hard job. I had been told by another dry vent cleaning company that the job was too difficult for them. That company left without competing the job. Needless to say, I was very happy with the services provided by Vent Wizard of Greater Cincinnati.

It was very good. They did what they said they were going to do and they did it efficiently.

They did a good job. The cleaning went well. I had a vent flue that wasn't very safe so I purchased a new flue that increased the price.

The service representative arrived on time and began to inspect the old vent and installation and let me know of problems and concerns with the existing system. He explained the benefits of installing the new aluminum vent line ( safer than a foil line) and the installation of an outside door for the vent. He was there less than two hours. My wife is very pleased with the way her dryer operates since the new vent line and door were installed. I would recommend Dryer Vent Wizard to anyone who needs a new vent or dryer hose installed.

The dryer was in a closet, and it was over too far. We had to call them back and they came back and moved the dryer so we could open the dryer door. They took care of everything.

It was GREAT!! I have done quite a bit of remodeling and have had several people working on my home, some have been less than pleasant experiences, but this was one of the best!. The service man was courteous, very thorough and actually replaced the dryer vent at no additional charge. I HIGHLY recommend this company! Definitely worth the money!

Service man arrived on time, explained what he was doing, taught me about my venting and how to maintain it. Cleaned up everything. Did an excellent job. I would recommend this service to everyone. Awesome job.

In addition to removing the lint he made sure that all of the hardware properly installed. This reduced the chance that a lot of the lint would be released in the air.

Prompt, courteous service with broad expertise in field. Eliminated a potentially dangerous condition and offered additional service at reasonable price.

Ed Rauch provided excellent service. He called and asked if he could come earlier than arranged. Ed made some valuble suggestions on how the vents were hooked up. He volunteered to correct the way the vents were connected and did not charge for fixing the work. I would definietly use Ed's service again.

The service man kept getting a low flow reading on his meter, but was not satisfied. So he repeated the cleaning until it he got the proper reading. He was very professional and explained the process as he was working

There were some "hidden" costs that were a bit surprising, but he was very professional and go the job done!

Dryer vent had not been cleaned out for about 10 years; it was amazing the amount of lint that was pulled out of the vent. The technician was very friendly and explained to me what he was doing as he did the job. He was very knowledgeable about the work and efficient doing the task. He had a type of monitor which measured the pressure coming out of the vent before (14) and after the work (24) was done. He cleaned up the lint that was pulled out of the vent.

Bob Keller explained what he was going to do. He was very professional. He did not leave any mess.

The dyer vent had not been cleaned in many years and was clogged. The hot air would not pass through it - and was a safety hazard.The tech cleaned the duck and recommended a screen cover for the outside vent. He installed the screen for the vent. The had a special from angie's list and charged that price for the cleaning job. They were professional and I would recommend tham to others.

Everything from calling to schedule the appt. to the work being completed was smooth.
