Dryer Vent Wizard of Greater Cincinnati

I am very satisfied, and would use them again. We made and appointment which they showed up for on time. Both vents were cleared. The technician was polite, friendly, professional, and efficient. The price was a little high.

Very well. The technician was very informative and answered many questions. He was on time and very personable. We have used Dryer Vent Wizard for many years and plan to continue to use them in the future.

First, I'm glad I had it done. Second, it was surprisingly expensive. My dryer vent is a short distance to the outside. I was not prepared for what it would cost, it was about $100 more than I would have expected, and that was even after the price was negotiated down by another $100. Third, I was surprised also that there was no offer to wear a mask to ensure safety.

This was the second time I have called Dryer Vent Wizard. Making the appointment was easy. The technician, Rich, arrived on time, was very polite and well-spoken. He told me exactly what he needed to do and why. He did the work quietly and efficiently and tidied up after himself when done. The length of time it took my dryer to dry a load of clothes was noticeably shorter afterwards. Dryer Vent Wizard is permanently in my book of service companies that I will use again. I have had a week of battling with other companies' who show up late, don't do the work properly, and leave with tools they have borrowed from me, or just don't show up at all. What a pleasure it is to work with a reliable company like Dryer Vent Wizard!

It went excellent. He was on time and performed the work very professionally and corrected a couple of extra issues that corrected the way the dryer was venting and did not charge more. He was careful with home and cleaned when he was finished I would recommend this company to anyone needing their dryer vent cleaned.

It went well, but found out we really didn't need to do it this year as there wasn't as much lint as we suspected. We will wait another 2 or 3 years to do it again.

I called today and they were able to send someone out today. Adam arrived between the time I was told. He was great and explained everything to me. My dryer vent is cleaned and I have a new vent cover which I needed.

Service tech was Justin Bonnell. He was punctual, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I'm happy with the new istallation because I know it meets building codes and is safe. Price is a bit steep, but safety is more important. The entire job took only an hour.

Deceptive, overpriced and dirty! Try to sell you everything under the sun and over charge. We made it clear that we only wanted the vent cleaned and we wanted a quote before they came because we didn't want to pay $49 just to get the quote. They called and said it would be between $105 and $150. They came and tried to sell us on 5 other services which we turned down so then they charged the highest quote of $150 and still charged the service fee of $49 on top of that when we specifically said we did not agree to that before they came. $200 for less than 30 minutes and on top of that they left behind a mess.

We had left a message regarding their service. Ed Rauch (owner) called us back within a very short period of time and walked us through the process prior to scheduling service. Justin Bonnell was the technician that came to our home. He was very professional and informative. He walked us through each step, even having my husband look at areas of the dryer and vents to see what he was explaining. He made very useful recommendations but, did not push a sale. Thanks to the knowledge of Mr. Rauch and Justin, we were saved the cost of a new dryer. The Dryer Vent Wizard is a service oriented and professional company and we will be customers for life. We highly recommend this company.

I rarely leave reviews, but the service I received today was so exceptional (and quite rare these days!) that I wanted to let people know. One of my biggest fears is a house fire (lots of firemen in the family), so I wanted to update the dryer ductwork in our new home to get rid of the cheaper/flammable stuff. Justin was incredible to work with. He assessed the situation and told me the costs up front before beginning any work - which I really appreciated. You can tell he's extremely knowledgeable in this field and takes great pride in what he does. Before Justin left, he let the dryer run for a few minutes to ensure everything worked properly. I feel 100% confident in the work that he's done - my mind can now be at ease. I originally thought the price felt high, but then seeing the amount of work he put in and how he went above and beyond, I feel like it was a pretty sweet deal. I believe you get what you pay for in this line of service and I would absolutely call Justin again for any future repairs and cleaning!

Lousy!! Justin Bonnell was the representative that came out and quoted us $377.57 telling us all these extra services were needed which we agreed to. What we did not agree to is the shoddy work that was done. After he gave us all these quotes for our hose that was a fire hazard that needed to be replaced and the ventilation flap outside that wasn't working properly along with the dryer duct system itself we agreed to pay for the services he was going to provide. 5 minutes later after he ran our credit card he comes in and says everything is done. I even questioned him myself that he was already finished that quick? And repeated back to him everything that he was supposed to do and he says yes it is all done. An hour later I do a load of laundry to have my entire utility room flooded out into my garage because he did not attach the drain hose back to the washing machine because he was in such a hurry to leave. So, now I have paid almost $400 to now have the extra burden of cleaning up my utility room and garage which took an hour and a half of my time today. Not to mention all of the lint ( and I mean a ton of lint) that he just left all behind the washer and dryer, that when flooded was a wet lint mess!!!!) Then when I ask for a Supervisor to call me back, and get the rep who caused all this mess whocalls back with all of these apologies and will talk to his Supervisor and call back........ da da da da!!!! NO CALL BACK!!!!!!

I used to be a happy customer. Not any more. I made an appointment for a Friday afternoon and was given a two-hour window. I left my office to be home just in case the tech was early. After the two-hour window passed, I contacted the company as no one arrived and no communication occurred. After being placed on hold, I was told the tech was busy with another job and there was no ETA as to when or if he would be here. As most people, I cannot just wait around to see what happens. To use their words, there's nothing you can do to "make me smile" today. I cancelled the service.
