Dryer Vent Wizard of Greater Cincinnati

arrived on time. Checked all the dryer vents in the house, (we have 2 dryers). Explained what he was doing and why. Cleaned out the dryer vent that was my biggest concern, it is a long vent and makes 2 turns. Told me the correct way to clean my vent after each load to keep the vent clean longer. Changed the outside cover on the vent. Explained we would not have to have the vents cleaned for 2 maybe 3 years. Very nice man. I will use them again.

I turned out okay, but he could have cleaned up the outside because all the dust and lint came out on the ground. I wondered why he did not clean that. Other than that, it worked. I just moved into this house and didn't know how the dryer worked before, but I know the inspection I had said it needed a vent cleaning. He came and did that and that was good. I thought their process would suck up the dust and lint, but it blew it out on the ground. I think they should have cleaned it up.

Adam Rauch from Dryer Vent Wizard came to my home before the scheduled time and looked at my situation and explained to me everything that he needed to do to fix it. I got the big deal and he was good. He was so through that he would not quit on my dryer vent until he got the correct reading. I liked his work ethic and I would use him again.

He arrived about 15 minutes late. He wore shoe covers in the condo, removing them when he went outside, and placing them on again when he returned inside. He also replaced the foil tubing with stainless steel tubing that runs from the dryer to the hidden ductwork that runs through the condo to the outside. (The hidden ductwork is solid stainless steel.) He was very neat and cleaned up any mess that his work caused. He indicated that it would not need cleaning again for another 7 to 8 years based on his observations of the amount of buildup that has occurred since the dryer was installed initially along with the vents, a period of nearly 8 years. This was the first time that it has been cleaned during that period of time. Build-up of lint varies from family to family depending upon the amount of use the dryer gets. As we were only two people and now one person only, the amount of usage is minimal compared to a famiy of four or more. He was pleasant, well-spoken, polite and very efficient. He works alone and the work took not quite two hours altogether. The cost was about $350 before applying the coupon which was bought for $79 for $150 worth of materials and work. Therefore, in addition to the original $79 I paid for the coupon, I had to pay $200. The length of the ductwork here is considerably longer than it would be in most houses where the dryer is located near an exterior wall. Here it is located on an interior wall as far from the outside wall where it vents into the outdoors as it can get and still be within the condo. Because of the archtecture of this old, repurposed school, the laundry could not have been located near an outer wall. Please do not use my name or address when this is shared with others.

Purchased through Big Deal for $79. Additional repairs totaled $207. Dryer took a very long time to dry clothes. After service, time to dry a load has been decreased by 75%. Very pleased with how dryer functions.

I have actually purchased two of the Angie's List specials for the Dryer Vent Wizard. In Fall of 2012, I had this service performed at the house I am currently living in. I thought it went so well that I purchased another special in May of 2013 and just had the same service done at another home that I own. I think that it makes using the dryer safer since I am not worried about possible lint fires and it makes the dryer work more efficiently without the lint buildup in the vent.

Found the old system was not up to code and broken in at least one place. Replaced the entire venting system which was a good thing and I appreciated it not only for the improvement and upgrade, but I do feel safer and more secure. VERY satisfied all the way around.

We've worried about this problem for years. We sleep better thanks to the good work of Dryer Vent Wizard and expect to see a lower utility bill with faster drying times now.

The installer inspected my existing dryer vent piping. He recommended new vent piping to help increase air flow and decrease fire risk. He was polite and cleaned up after himself. Everything went great. I even recommended the companies services to a family member.

They arrived on time and cleaned the dryer duck as requested. The entire cleaning tool approx an hour.

It was unbelievable to see how much lint came out. He even did a good job cleaning the entire dryer vent from outside as well. I will use them again when the time comes.

They showed up, completed the cleaning of my dryer vent in a timely fashion, and offered a couple suggestions. I had used them a couple years ago through another Angies List Big Deal at the time, and bought another Big Deal when I saw there was another one for them.

My dryer vent had become completely clogged. The dryer vent wizard came out on time and had it unclogged in no time. Very professional. Would highly recommend.

Our dryer is much more efficient but more importantly, it is safer! I have asked for scheduled annual service.

He phoned me within two days He wanted to know how soon he could come and do the job. The sooner the better was his feeling. I agreed with him and we scheduled the job for a week later. He showed up on time and had a very nice personality and did a fine job! I would definitely use him again!!!!

They did a good job, even though it did wind up costing more than I hoped.

Everything went great. Doug cleaned the lint from under the drum and removed the dryer from the wall connection. He informed me that the current connection thru the wall was not fireproof and should be replaced with the correct piping. He then stated he wanted to take a air flow reading before any cleaning was done & another when the job was done , so a baseline could be established. The initial reading was 15.8 and the final reading was 20.8. After completely cleaning the lint, in and around the dryer, he went to the outside vent and began the cleaning of the dryer vent tubing from the outside in. Using an auger type brush proceeded to rotate the brush thru the tubing down to the dryer and then did a reverse rotating on the way out of the tubing, After completing this procedure, that when he told us the air flow reading was now 20.8. This he considered good, since our tubing is approx. 26 feet from the dryer to the outside vent. This is due to the fact, we have a Guest Room between the Laundry Area and outside wall, so the tubing has to go up & over the Guest Room to reach the outside vent. The job from start to completion was approx. 1 Hr & 15 Min. Great job Doug !!!!!

Great! He was courteous, early, did a great job and it was reasonable. Estimate to do job was 30 minutes, and that is how long it took. He was even early arriving.

They were very nice and did a great job. They doubled the air flow of our dryer and now clothes dry in half of the time.
