ARCO - Affordable Roofing & Chimney Options

The price was more than I bargained for but they found damage to the chimney. They found that there had been a chimney fire at some point. So they repaired that and that was significant. I thought they did a very good job.

We've used ARCO on many roofing, chimney, and gutter jobs at various properties, and have always been satisfied. The crews were on time, respectful, and the job was cleaned up well.

ARCO contacted us to schedule an appointment almost immediately - I requested the work to be done several weeks away due to our availability for the work to be completed. The experience was professional and pleasant during the entire process. Unfortunately for us, ARCO was unable to provide the water seal to our chimney because the chimney needed completed restructured. We received an estimate for the obvious work that needed to be completed and also a 'refund' for the work that could not be completed. I plan to contact them when we are ready to go ahead with the repairs needed - I believe they will do a fantastic job and highly recommend their company!

Very professional individuals. Made sure to show us tons of pictures at the end of the job to show all of the work they did. I guess they do this because we can't really see inside the chimney or on top of the roof. They made sure we knew how to use the damper and the whole thing was clean and ready to go when they left.

That was fine. It was perfect. They came out quite quickly. I think within a week. They were very professional.

The sweeping and cleaning part were excellent. They found some problems that they recommended spending more money on.

It went great! We had a unique situation. Initially we hired them for a chimney sweep on a Tuesday for our buyers of our home. However, the new home buyers were insistent on knowing right away if our chimney was functional or not. The deal depended on ARCO making a special unscheduled last minute trip to our home for a full inspection and sweep. Steph saved our home deal and although we didn't get good news on the functionality, they were able to provide us with very detailed info and estimates to get the fireplace working. They were also very knowledgeable about the vent less gas insert we had getting ready to install as well. We appreciate everyone there at ARCO and if we ever need their services again, we will defiantly use them.!

Ok, but he kept trying to pressure sell me on getting repairs done. Started to get really uncomfortable.

Great service and feedback about options for future repair. We are currently doing a remodeling project and Arco's Patrick was thorough and I highly recommend!

They did a fairly good job. The only thing is they left some of their droppings or whatever from doing the side and got our patio a little messed up. I think its suppose to wash off. We called the company, we haven't gotten to all that yet. I do know that we felt fairly good about them, but that is one thing that happened. They came out and sealed it and showed me a brick that was cracked up the top. It made more sense to me to get that fixed before they sealed it but I didn't know that before the work was done. The one issue I had when they were spraying that stuff, I believe they got some of that material on the new paver patio. I called the patio company and asked if pressure washer would remove it. Their willingness to make it right, I say their effort was an A. However, it would have been better if that did not happen in the first place. I would consider them again. It's not an A+ but it was good enough I would use them again. Before I used them again I would have chimney inspected first before having it coated. Make sure you have a thorough review before the sealant is what I would recommend to anyone else.

Excellent - the service technician was very clean and thurough.

Cleaning was fine. Repair was done at a later date. After they left, the chimney cap came flying down. I didn't know to expect that. I almost threw it out, but I checked with Arco. Apparently, since Arco hadn't come back in a timely manner to remove temporary wooden frame, the cap came off because it wasn't glued tightly. Arco still hasn't come to finish the job despite my requesting many times.

Excellent- would recommend highly based on my experience.

Overall, very bad as the guy came with its bill (he ignored that we already paid?) and with a statement about the chimney which apparently requires to be demolished and rebuilt. Cost of the estimate for "only" 13 rows of bricks: $6,500. Are you kidding me?? NO WAY! Even though this guy might be right, I bet that I will find somebody else to professionnaly do the job for way less that that!

She said " it is allot of work to schedule an appointment so why don't you call us back after you look at the other options". WOW. does this company really wants my business? So I said: I don't mean to inconvenience you, I will just go with the other options instead. I did let her know I would leave a review and contact saver systems about this experience. I am truly in disbelief about this attitude toward a future sale. I will not be utilizing this company for any work in the future and when asked will deter my friends and family from using this company.

In the ten years that we've lived here, I was reluctant to even use the fireplace without first making sure it would be safe. Kevin and crew was very professional, prompt and informative. The fireplace had an insert, and they explained to me what was required to safely utilize it and cut costs in heating my home in the process. He was kind enough to send a me a quote, and I hope to take him up on the offer in the process.

They made sure the chimney was blocked on the outside so I wouldn't get dirt all over. They showed me the photographs right afterwards. The cap of the chimney was pretty well gone and there was a mortar missing, so it wasn't a major repair but it wasn't cheap either. I didn't think they overcharged. It looks good. They were professional, did a good job.
