ARCO - Affordable Roofing & Chimney Options

They were very professional all the way. I needed some work done on my chimney cap and some leaking that was letting water inside it turned out also from around the chimney-roof junction where the original house construction had been done quite poorly. In all I secured four estimates; three, including Arco gave quite professional estimates; two actually went up on the roof to look at what was going on first-hand. Arco was one of those, but they were the only ones who took a bunch of pictures and provided them as part of the free estimate, but they were the only ones who came inside to see where the water was getting in. Of the three professional estimates, they were not the least expensive, but in the middle, but their estimate was by far the most detailed, everything was clearly spelled out and with the photos I knew exactly what I would be getting. The work== they were able to offer me an opportunity to start the project sooner than they had anticipated, which was great. The work was thorough and professional (they again provided photos during and afterwards) and they came in exactly at cost. Their worksite cleanup I'd rate at 95%, and I'm very picky. These guys cleaned up extremely well; I can't remember a contractor I'd give that percentage to. Then, as I had expressed some concern as to whether or not I'd need roof work, the crew chief checked it over and said I was good for another ten years. And lastly, it's rained here TONS since they finished and we've been as dry as the moon. I will certainly give them top consideration in all my future roofing projects but I will recommend them to one and all. Thanks guys for a job well done!

ARCO did a fabulous job. I'll definitely hire them again! Their experienced staff is very knowledgeable and caring. Their attention to detail and high standards are uncomparable. Staff was very punctual. They completed a through assessment, explained what needed to be done and completed the repairs on time. Wonderful service!

We have used ARCO a couple times now....highly recommend. They are knowledgeable, professional and explain everything as it’s happening.

Scheduled service weeks ago. Company called a day or two later to confirm. I put it on my calendar, took off work and waited for them to show. Never showed. Called 30 mins after my window ended. Left message. Called again a couple times throughout the day and never heard back. Left another message a day or two later. Despite the fact that they didn’t show, I still wanted to hire so I didn’t have to get on another company’s wait list during their busy season. Still haven’t heard a peep after a missed appointment that they called to confirm and a few voicemails over a span of a couple of days. Very disappointing and discourteous.

Patrick Archer and his team responded immediately, communicated before, during and after the job was completed and took detailed pictures of repairs needed, as work progressed and after work completed. This is the 2nd time I have used Arco and I know I can trust Patrick to get the job done right. I highly recommend them. An added note, Patrick noticed debris trapped in a downspout and thoroughly cleaned it, put a leaf trap on it so I would not have to worry about it clogging again. He could have ignored it, could have quoted additional work to do it, but instead he helped me out on his own merits for which I will be forever grateful.

I was in a program that they paid 80%. When they came out, they gave me an estimate. Water is still coming through my window 4-5 months after when heavy rain came. Around the window sealed. Trying to put the route of the problem. The gutter he put up. Its a gutter guard that prevent the water. They put the gutter and the protector seal up. It came up to 800-900 dollars. ARCO.

Excellence job. Prompt & courteous. Explained every detail of job. Fixed chimney when every other estimates wanted a tear down and $1000's more. I have been trying to get this chimney repaired for 20 years and nobody really addressed the leak issue until now. Winter will tell, but highly confident the problems have been resolved. We’ve been customers of ARCO for a few years, but this the first time I’m writing a review. We’ve always been pleased with ARCO - friendly and professional. They were able to catch some much needed chimney repairs a few years ago (due to the previous owner) and we’ve been using them ever since.

Everything went very well. Initial phone call was professional and they scheduled my appointment for just a few days later. My representative, Patrick, showed up on time, explained things clearly, and was professional. Unfortunately they were unable to offer a repair but that was no fault of theirs. Overall I was very pleased.

Excellent. They scanned and cleaned both chimneys then did needed repair work on one. They were prompt and courteous.

I have never had my chimney cleaned nor did I know when the previous owner had cleaned it. I called ARCO asking for their deluxe cleaning package. The gentleman came out to review it and actual explained that a less expensive package would be more beneficial. He recommended a cleaning treatment based on the age of my home and condition of my chimney. He also showed me areas that were in need of repair and made recommendations for those areas. With each recommendation, he showed photos and gave his reasoning. The work we agreed upon was completed. There was clear communication throughout the process. It was clear that he had a passion for chimneys and is very knowledgable. This is something I appreciate as a homeowner of an older home. My chimney is now safe to use (it was not before)! I will be calling them back to have routine maintenance performed.

Great - guy cleaned one chimney, declined to do a second one because he said it was in great condition (we would never have known) and provided a quote to replace some worn concrete on the outside chimney column.

We had a consultation with the owner who was knowledgeable and helpful. He took pictures of our chimney and pointed out other repairs that were needed. We had ARCO do all the repairs and we are happy with them.
