They did a great job of working in the replacement during the winter months as my old ones were in very bad shape. They also repaired my chimney. My only complaint it that the installers left without turning on my solar blinds. That was corrected promptly. All in all I cannot say enough about the care that the ARCO folks took to do the replacements as soon as weather permitted and the care they took of my house.

He was courteous, very informative and explanatory. I was skeptical in the beginning but was really happy later. No complaints at all!

We were satisfied with it. I didn't see them or talk with them, my husband did and he was satisfied. They came on time and they did what they said they would do so I'm assuming everything was okay.

For years I have gone through numerous roofers for repairs, both before and after (unfortunately) having a new roof and chimney installed. It wasn?t until I came across this business through Angie's List that I hired Arco Remodeling for the first time ? about 3 years ago. Actually, I was using an Angie's List coupon for a chimney sweep. However, in the process they identified problem areas that I did not even know I had and repaired them immediately. How do I know to trust them? They take photos and review them with me, giving full and understandable explanations. And again with a follow-up call. They also offer inspections for a reasonable fee. (Which of course with my roof history, I take advantage for peace of mind). This time during the inspection, my second chimney is in need of repair. Nice to know it will be done correctly and no further concern on my part. Your home is your refuge?. Well mine was until the rains would arrive and I would fear leaks. But now when the storms hit in the middle of the night, I sleep well knowing that my roof is properly maintained. Yes, I still walk around looking at the ceiling, but rejoice when all is well!

He is very thorough by the way. The guy was really good. As a matter of fact specifically I asked him to come back down because he saw the problem the first time around. The price was fair. I was impressed with the work that they did first time around. I would use them again in the future.

Arco worked hard to coordinate service with the tenant and showed up a mutually agreed time. Tenant backed out, and I was satisfied with the persistence of Arco in making the date work. The actual service was not performed because of tenant issues, but again, I was very satisfied that Arco tried to make it work and I released them from any further efforts under the coupon deal.

IT WENT VERY WELL. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY. I THOUGHT THEY COST ALOT BUT EVERYTHING COSTS MORE THAN I THINK IT SHOULD. I DONT KNOW HOW THEY COMPARE TO OTHERS. THEY DID A GREAT JOB FOR ME.

I never used this company. They were fine. Many things were going on never got this done. The owner was first class. I am seeking a refund from Angie's list.

I was to receive pictures of all they done but as of 1/22/2016 no pictures have been received.

He looked at my chimney and gave me an honest report so I will be using him in the future for repairs.

The job was completed in about five hours. They followed up with the photos after the job was complete. It went very well overall.

The men did a good job as far as I could tell. A company I had in the past actually had a camera and they could show me the inside of the chimney which i really liked.

I had a Big Deal. I turned out fine. They came out pretty quickly after the purchase. There were no additional charges. Two people came out. Everything went according to plan. No surprises.

They arrived exactly on time, they kept the property clean while they worked, and they got along well with my tenants. Furthermore, their verbal report on the state of the chimney was in line with the assessment of another chimney company which I found reassuring. The only issue is that I haven't received a written report or any photos as promised in the deal. This information may have been sent to the rental property, but my tenants haven't received anything as of today.

This was the "Big Deal" which was promoted as "Gutter Cleaning and Roof Inspection with Photos" In conversation and in emails, I asked that only the second story gutters be cleaned as I had done the first story with regard to gutter cleaning. 8. How did it go overall? Tell us the story from start to finish (10,000 character limit): The original date of work was rescheduled due to weather. In my phone conversations with Arco I was clear that only the second story gutters needed to be cleaned and not the first floor. A man and woman came out on a rainy day to clean the gutters and I again said only the second story gutters needed cleaning. Within an hour the people were gone and as I walked around my house I saw no evidence of any leaves on the ground from the gutter cleaning. (Please note that by this time of the year leavers were all of the trees.) In my mind I was thinking that maybe the second story gutters were not cleaned. I waited for the roof inspection report along with the photos and to this date, I have not received anything. Earlier this month after a big snowfall, we began getting wet stains on multiple ceilings, all running along joists and beams. I had another roofer come to look at the issue and he said in just a few seconds that our boots around the vent stacks on the roof were rotted and needed replaced. When the snow is on top of the boots and begins to melt water comes into the attic and drips down to the joists. The house is 19 years old and these were the original boots and I was told these were something that would have easily been spotted by any roof inspection. The result is we are bringing in another contractor to do all the repairs to our damaged ceilings and repaint them. I am have the other roofing company install the new boots. Had we received the advertised roof inspection we would have had those boots replaced right away. But not knowing, we are looking at an expensive bill that could have been prevented had Arco Roofing done what we had paid for. Also, looking at our gutters, the top gutters have icicles and the lower ones do not which tells me that the second floor gutters were never cleaned. The result here is that we could suffer additional damage to the home due to these ice dams.

As per our home inspection it was recommended that we get some basic exterior masonry work done and our chimney swept. We saw the Arco coupon for $99 chimney sweep with photos and $100 dollar rebate towards masonry work and scheduled. Joe came out and cleaned the chimney . He was professional, pleasant and gave us valuable information regarding our roof and chimney. We had some trouble scheduling .... but was told that they've resolved that issue. ***UPDATE.... $100 coupon or not...I would not use this company again. We originally hired them to sweep the chimney , as well as light exterior masonry work on fireplace. We also asked for a quote to repair a box gutter and soffit. Not only did It take nearly a month to get the quote back but it was two pages of suggestions regarding repairs and maintenance without one mention of the work we had originally contacted them about. I felt like they were trying to rip me off. In my opinion they are unprofessional and dealing with them was more frustrating than necessary.

See above. We were always invited to ask more questions and to call which we did. The communication was prompt, and we always knew what was going on. The pictures taken of our chimney were clear and showed that there was a problem which needed to be dealt with. We started out with a chimney cleaning, of which we also got before and after pictures.

It was sort of a double edged sword. The owner of the company was fantastic but the service man was terrible. He either did not know how to use his equipment or it was broken. He did part of the work. He did the cleaning but he failed to do the inspection because he couldn't use the camera. I didn't expect them to drop the charges but as soon as I talked to a woman from ARCO, she did that for me. I was impressed. I would use them again because they strongly stood up for their work. Their price was reasonable. I didn't like their punctuality because he gave all excuses to cancel but their responsibility was great. The owner was incredibly professional.

I got it done because we hadn't used the fireplace and I wondered whether it needed cleaning. He was quick and he did whatever he did. He said there wasn't any problems with it because it hadn't been used. His performance was fine. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.
