It was fine. They did good. I had him do a bid on redoing part of my chimney. So I had him come back and do that so that was additional to the deal I bought from AL. The only issue I would fault them on. When they came I asked them to look at the flute and they didn't do that until after all the other work was done and then they finally looked at it. I think the first time he came, he came at a time he couldn't get into the house. And they kinda dropped this until after it was all done and then it turned out a little different than I expected. I don't really know how to explain it. But everything else was fine. I would use this provider again.

Contacted ARCO for some chimney inspections. I also requested gutter cleaning based on an Angie's List coupon that was associated with there Angie List profile. ARCO did not honor the coupon stating that Angie's list had erroneously posted it. On 11/28/16 I had the chimney inspection performed. The inspector showed up early but that was ok. The inspector said I would get a written report later in the evening. I did not receive the report as promised. I contacted ARCO on 11/29 to request the report and I was told they would ask the inspector to send it. I have yet to receive the report as of 12/2/16.

It was expensive, but they did the job. It was pretty expensive. I guess I needed extensive work. I guess that's the reason for it. It kind of shocked me. As for quality, I can't really tell because I'm too old to get up there, but it looks like they did a good job.

I was very happy with this company. The person I spoke with to schedule the appointment and the person who came out to do the work were both very professional. You could tell the service person who came out really took pride in his work. I would highly recommend their services.

John was professional and knowledgeable. He recommended a new design and replacing the galvanized and aluminum material with stainless steel. This comes with a lifetime warranty. The material was fabricated at the shop and it took him about an hour to do the actual work at my home.

They reported cracks and water damage to the chimney cap. We then had them repair the chimney cap and they did an excellent job. I have them clean our chimney every year now.

That was fine. They did a good job. I had purchased another chimney cleaning service and they couldn't do it. I got those people to come in. They came when they said they were going to come. They cleaned the chimney. They cleaned up after themselves. They inspected the chimney on the top and they said there was something that needed to be repaired in the future. My interaction with them was very good. The work was very good. They were very professional and they did a good job.

Wow, ARCO was amazing; I wish I there was an A++ rating! I first heard of them while looking on Angie's List for a chimney sweep. They were offering a $99 special to clean the chimney and ours had not been cleaned in several years (and we have a wood-burning fire every night in the winter). They did a great job, and while they were on our roof they took a couple dozen pictures of our deteriorating chimney and gave us a quote on making repairs. I talked things over with Nick at ARCO and he advised us that the repairs would just be a temporary fix and the chimney really needed to be torn down (which didn't surprise us; we knew it needed a lot of work). From the pictures ARCO took, we could see that the chimney was in even worse shape than we had thought so we decided to have it torn down and rebuilt. Nick was very patient and answered all my questions about the work that would be done. Although initially concerned about how the new bricks would match the 60-year old bricks, I was thrilled at the completed job because they did a fabulous job of matching the bricks. We also have a new crown which also looks great. Jesus (as in HEY SOOS, not as in God) and his team worked very hard for 2.5 days at our house. It's evident they take pride in their work and wanted us to be pleased with the end result. They also rebuilt our firebox and made repairs to our hearth which was very unsightly before the repairs were made. We now have a safe fireplace, attractive hearth, and a water-tight chimney, thanks to ARCO. I was so impressed with Nick and his team that I didn't even get a quote from anyone else. For the amount of work that they did I thought it was a reasonable price. I could not be more pleased with ARCO and Jesus and I plan to refer them to anyone needing chimney/fireplace work done. They are the BEST!!

The contractor that ( John Miner ) was very knowable , at the work that we had done to are fireplace , he took the time to explain to us every step of the cleaning process , we felt every safe with him working on are fireplace . hope that we can get him again next year ( 2017 ) cleaning .

John came out to do the initial chimney cleaning. He took pictures all along the way, and also had someone to inspect the chimney crown and cap. He cleaned everything up and took additional pictures to show the heavy creosote and also evidence of water leaking into the chimney. He gave me tips on what to burn and what not to burn in my fireplace, using my own ashes to show what I was doing wrong (paper, cardboard, pine). After the manual cleaning, everything looked a lot better, but there was clear evidence of the heavy buildup, that manual cleaning couldn't remove; in addition to having a better picture of the evidence of water infiltration. He proceeded to show me where the water was likely coming from (cracks all around the crown and cap, as well as algae buildup in the cracks and seams). He provided a quotation on the spot, offering to review his pricing if I obtained any additional quotes. I chose to accept his quotation on the spot, as I was impressed by his work ethic, his knowledge of his craft, and his thorough explanation of everything he was doing, and would do. Several weeks later, John returned with two helpers to complete the contracted work. It was a two day event as he used a chemical spray to treat the heavy creosote buildup, and then had to return after the spray pulled the creosote off the walls. Meanwhile, the other crew members cleaned, repaired, and painted my chimney crown and cap. In the end, I was extremely pleased with the results. The chimney is squeaky clean, the crown is fresh and looking like new, and I am ready to start using my fireplace again as soon as it turns cold enough to do so.

Service man arrived on time, completed a thorough inspection and reviewed the report and gave us a printed report along with completion of the chimney sweep!

Went very well! Had to defer part of the job to the following day due to waves of heavy rain, which was out of their control and wasn't a problem. And my fireplace looks wonderful. Showed me lots of before and after pics taken at various stages of the work, which was very helpful.

ARCO was great -- they arrived early in the day with the whole team ready to work. We were under time pressure to complete the work in time for a home sale closing and they were able to fit us in, despite the great deal of work to be done. They were efficient and the price was great. They left the place looking spotless. Final work included putting heat shield selant in our existing WBFP along with tuck repointing and crown repair, installing two stainless liners from furnace and water heater through chimney for gas fireplace, along with tuck repointing and crown repair, and finally, removing the exposed chimney from a non-functional fireplace and reroofing.
