Description of Work: Tim repaired a fire damaged kitchen cart and antique treadle sewing machine cabinet. The cart had been built by my dad in the 1990s and had much sentimenal value to my mother. The treadle sewing machine had belonged to by great grandmother. Cannot tell that either was ever burned. Excellent work.

When I first made contact with Mr. Beckett, he replied quickly and made arrangements to see the chair for estimating cost. The piece was finished to our specifications and returned to us within the expected time frame. The cost was reasonable and the completed work is so nice. Just as we had hoped. Description of Work: Beckett Furniture Repair is fantastic! I had Mr. Beckett completely rework a 1950s-style chair for me, and he did a wonderful job. He quoted his prices accurately, and while he said that the work would take a couple of months, he had it done in a matter of weeks. The work he did included: -- Removing and refinishing the arms and legs -- Completely reworking the seat, with new springs and workings -- Making sure the chair rocked like it used to Mr. Beckett also recommended a great upholster, Springboro Upholstery. They did a great job on covering my chair. I highly recommend both of these companies, particularly Beckett Furniture Repair.
