Description of Work: Installed wall to wall carpeting in Living Room, Dining Room, Hallway, and stairs. They did an excellent job and even vacuumed before they left.

Description of Work: After extensive shopping around we decided to go with Marshall Carpet to carpet our living room, stairs and upstairs landing because we felt they had the best product at a reasonable price. We selected the smart strand product. We worked with Cindy and Ryan for the sale. They were excellent. Not pushy and worked within our budget and timeline. The installers, Jim and Tony were excellent. Very professional and completed the job timely and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. We will be using them to do our basement later this year.

Description of Work: They were polite, professional and prompt if slightly more expensive than other whose estimates i got. When there was a snag in the carpet they came back and fixed it for no charge. They replaced the carpet on our screened porch.

Description of Work: I posted a review over the weekend of Feb 22, 2013, that raised some questions about my experience with Marshall Carpet One. My review was copied without my knowledge, edited to make it more negative, and posted on Yelp. I received a call from the owner of Marshall Carpet One on 2/24/2013, and we reviewed my experience, leading me to update the review and focus in on what made my experience a little less than optimal with this company. Based on this, I have revised my rating of this company, because I was so impressed with the owner's integrity and taking of responsibility for the company's service. We ordered carpeting for our basement. The quality was good, the measurement was very accurate, and the installers were absolutely excellent. What led to a less-than totally happy experience was my lack of chemistry with the salesman we had. He and I were probably not on the same wavelength, though he treated my husband and me with respect and was professional. The moral of my story is this: if your experience at Marshall Carpet One is not "knock your socks off" great, know that that this business is run by a local family totally committed to making your experience good. So let them know while it is happening, and they will make every effort to meet your needs. And secondly, watch what you post here that is negative. It could end up on Yelp, which really makes me mad. The point of Angie's List is to avoid exactly that kind of anonymous sniping that doesn't give anyone a fair shake.
