Description of Work: Purchased Angies list deal for replacement of leaking outside spigot. It was during a deep freeze in Feb, my outside faucet was iced over (no interior pipes frozen). They were very prompt in both calling to schedule and the appointment to fix. Two agents arrived to complete the job which included replacing spigot and installation of an interior shut-off-valve, to meet new code requirements (valve charge was in addition to the Angies advertised price, but included in the $185 total listed). I would recommend them and wanted to hire again for replacement of 3 bathroom sink faucets, but felt their $145 per faucet, was too high.

Description of Work: rebuilt toilet and cleared another toilet

Description of Work: They replaced the leaking connector on our ice maker water line. They found the turn off for it in the basement and quickly replaced the line. I was afraid it would need a new water line, etc. but they did it quickly and without hassle.

Description of Work: The plumber unclogged our bathtub drain, and diagnosed the problem of low water flow in our kitchen sink. He was on time, took care of our plumbing problems quickly, and left the tub cleaner than before he worked on it. I will definitely use Steve Jones Plumbing for our all plumbing problems in the future.

Description of Work: Replaced main water shutoff valve. Todd's approach to his work was impressive. When testing he did find a small leak and quickly re-did his work to correct it. He made sure his solder joints did not leak, even going so far as to use a mirror to accurately inspect the areas he could not see directly. He stayed to make sure everything was done correctly before he left.

Description of Work: Checked on a leaking bathroom pipe and sewer smell reported by a tenant. His conclusion was that the pipe in question was not connected to anything and therefore not a problem and the smell wasn't sewer but musty basement. I asked him to send me a bill for his time. He replied, estimates are free! (Services performed? I said YES!)

Description of Work: I was purchasing a new, larger refrigerator, but the refrigerator water supply (for the icemaker) stuck out from the wall about 6". The larger refrigerator would not have fit. The Steve Jones' estimator came to the house and gave me a few options, from budget to higher cost. I told them I would think about it and call them after I made up my mind. I made the second appointment, and they arrived on time and did a good job (no leaks). They didn't shortcut materials, using copper fittings and solder, and their solution "shortened" the fitting enough to work. All the employees I talked with were professional, competent, and seemed more focused on what I wanted and why I wanted it than other contractors I have dealt with. My only complaint was the original serviceman (estimator) was scheduled to complete the job, but was called off to another job (emergency?) and I had to re-explain the whole problem again to the new serviceman. Other than that, I would recommend this company.

Description of Work: Replaced my shower faucets which had deteriorated with age. Todd was very professional telling me everything he was doing. Todd and Jim were courteous and and attentive. Price was a bit more than I hoped for, but after talking with others about my situation, I felt more at ease because that seemed to be a fair price. I will definitely use them again!!

Description of Work: Steve Jones Plumbing was great and we will definitely use them again in the future for plumbing issues. We had several leaks all at once so they came out and figured out the issue (that was causing all the leaks). They repaired and so far, no leaks! =) Jim arrived on time and was very professional. He used booties to cover his shoes so he didn't track any dirt into our home. Jim was unable to repair a bath fixture (major repair -the pipe was stripped) so Todd came out the very next day and did the repair. We were thrilled as he was able to replace the stripped pipes without tearing into the wall! Todd was also very professional and arrived on time. We are very happy with their service and will recommend them to others in need of plumbing services.
