Brian was very helpful and professional in performing the repairs/replacement service. He arrived on time and went to work quickly. In addition to service requested, he also performed a free home plumbing inspection. Very glad we decided to go with an established plumbing company - feel much better about our whole home plumbing now. Would definitely use again.

Service was very good. Showed up on time, had new water heater delivered and installed in about 4 hours. Very responsive and professional.

Arrived on time. Had to do multiple attempts to get tub drain clear, requiring him to haul up 3 different snakes to the upstairs bathroom. So he really stuck with it and got the main problem fixed. He was pleasant. Finally got it and he showed us the tub ran fine (before he finished reassembling the stopper mechanism). However after he left we found the tub stopper was not put back together and adjusted properly and we had to pull it out and make some adjustments ourselves (this, we felt, was easier than setting up another appointment) He did a walkaround inspection that was part of the service (not what we had anticipated) and he identified a expansion tank that needed to be replaced on the hot water heater. We decided not to have Nixco make this repair at the time. We had simply wanted the snaking done and understood that this was something closer to $100-$150, but Nixco pushed this inspection deal and the price ended up being greater than we thought.

It was fine and they did a good job. We did not have any problem at all.

Their service was fine. I thought their price was a little higher than most, which is why I don’t use them anymore. I had used them a few times before and their prices were fine, but all of sudden they got out of hand. The price is my only issue with them.

I had a clogged sump pump pipe that would take water away from the house. In heavy rain, there was a pool of water at the basement foundation outside the house and near to where the sump pump is located. Also water had just started streaming back into the basement. I called Nixco and they arrived promptly. I was given an estimate to unclog the pipe using some equipment. The price quoted was a standard price per they price book. It was expensive. I went ahead as I needed to get this done immediately in order to get water not come into basement. The person did a good job, was professional and polite. But the price was such that if I had time, I would have gone to someone else.

It was a good experience. They did things they said they were going to do and they charged what they said they were going to charge. They followed up to make sure everything was okay. Overall, they were very good.

They were excellent. I would consider using them again in the future.

.I sought to have the service completed over my lunch hour. The service man promptly arrived at my requested start time (12:15pm) and replaced my water expansion tank in fast fashion He was courteous and professional. Though a simple service request, I was impressed with Nixco's service. I will definitely use them again.

Nixco Plumbing Inc had a reasonable price but the diagnosed the problem wrong so I said I would never use them. I had the valve replaced but it didn't need replacing, the problem was with the water softener. I was not impressed with his skill and knowledge. I would seek out other plumbers before using them.

The guy came out and he did not appear to know too much about the sump pump. I asked him if he had worked on it before and he said yes because he had asked me, what’s this and what’s this. He opened this thing up and he looked down in it. He told me these things shouldn’t be bending. I needed all new floats. It would have cost me $800 for new flats. My husband said, you better replace them. Anyway I thought about it over the weekend. I called him back and I told him that I needed a second opinion before I pay for the new float. I called the company that made the sump pump and they told me that they were supposed to do that. I had told them before that I had Nixco come out because something had tangled around the float. That is the reason why the alarm was going off. Sometimes it is going to starts flooding in the basement. So he opened the thing, I think whatever was tangled around it probably got untangled because I haven’t had anybody come back and fix it since. It’s fine. He was totally wrong and I believe it’s because he didn’t have experience with that thing and he told me that he did. I would never call him again for my sump pump or for my sewer ejector. When I used him before they had a subcontractor who worked on it. I specifically asked for him. They said that he doesn’t work for us anymore. That’s the only reason why they fixed it before because they had a subcontractor. I thought that they were high priced. I had to pay $150 to open it up and look at it. He didn’t really know what was wrong with it. He wouldn’t have given me that $150 towards coming back and fixing it after he had the parts. So that was just lost money. The guy didn’t really know what he was doing. I called the company back and I told them that I was not going to order the parts. I also told them that the person that they sent out to my house did not leave me with warm fuzzy feeling about the fact that he knew what he was doing. I haven’t had those floats repaired or replaced. There was nothing wrong with the floats. It just had something tangled on it. Couple of years ago when I had him come out, it was an electric line that was tangled around it. So when he lifted the lid out he probably pulled the float out of the electric line. He fixed it by accident. I would not recommend him to somebody with a sewer ejector but for plumbing he probably is fine. I never had him do plumbing for me.

We have used them on several occasions and they were very efficient and do good work at a reasonable price.

Nixco could not provide a fixed or maximum price. Nixco used a boroscope and replaced some underground drain pipefor $750 but did not fix pluggage. Additionally,Nixco quoted a price of $4,000 to go under driveway to tie-in pipe to header. Instead, City of Mason tied-in pipe for free, using same routing as before, and ensured header was clear. After $750 expenditure, drain pipe is still plugged..

They’re excellent! Their cost is a bit more than others, but they do a great job. They send me coupons, but I haven’t needed their services recently.

They’re a good company and they’ve been in business for a long time. They did a great job for us. They were able to work us into their schedule within a week, and they were prompt. Anybody that I’ve ever talked to that has used their services has been happy with them as well!

We’ve been very happy with them! They always present themselves very professionally. Our daughter has used them, too.

Every dealing we’ve had with them has been good! They showed up after an hour that we called them. They were very cordial, professional, and knew exactly how to handle the situation. Their price was very reasonable, too. They give coupons online, too. They also send reminders of various maintenance things that might need to be done. I have their card on my fridge, so we call them anytime we need them!

Called Nixco and they sent someone out the very same day. They found the problem, fixed it and recommended no more fresheners for my old John. The serviceman was very friendly and when running a little late in getting here, called and explained that he was finishing up a prior job and would be a little late. As far as I am concerned they get an A plus from me and I will use them for all of my plumbing needs.

They are very easy to work with. They are very conscientious. You can get them very quickly. They are prompt, and professional. I will use them again in the future.

In my opinion, the quality of the service versus the expensive fee was not worth it. I still don't understand how a toilet that is rarely used gets clogged again in just a few weeks unless it was not properly serviced on the first visit.

Nixco was very responsive to our urgent need to repair a water main leak in our yard. They came out the day we called to provide an estimate and were very clear in terms of the work they needed to do. I informed Nixco that I had a lawn irrigation system and provided the grid for the layout of the system. They were out the next day performing the work. I stopped by during my lunch break from work to check on progress and they had at that point already identified the leak and replaced the section of the line that was damaged. They had to dig a very large hole since the leak was further up in the yard, which we understood was a possibility. However, I noticed that the main water line for my irrigation system was crushed, and when I inquired about this I was told that while digging the hole with the backhoe, that a rock had crushed the pipe. Giving them the benefit of the doubt on this one, I then asked if they could repair the line, for which Nixco replied that they didn't have the equipment (a 2 ft. section of PVC and some plumbers cement is all that was required). They indicated that they did everything they could to avoid damage, but they weren't liable for this damage. I called the office later that week and was told that I would get a callback from the office the following week once the people familiar with the work could be available to discuss the situation. I never did receive a call back, and I had to pay Vanderwist $150.00 to come out to make the repair. I understand that things like this can happen, but was very disappointed that Nixco claimed not to be able to make a repair when the materials they needed are standard plumbing parts. Their office is a 5 minute drive, so even if they didn't have the mateirals with them, it should have not been a huge issue to do this. What is very frustrating in this situation is the contractor's obvious disregard to try to 'make things right', since they can use the rationale that they made every attempt to limit collateral damage during the process of making the repair. Knowing where the lines were located from the schematic I provided should have resulted in using shovels in the area around the line, not a backhoe. Their decision to use this equipment in that area shows negligence and resulted in my having to hire another contractor to repair the damage that Nixco caused.
