Description of Work: Terra provides all of my landscape work along with a monthly maintenance. They also installed a paver patio.

Description of Work: Fall clean-up. Raked and removed all leaves. Cut back all perennials and trimmed shrubs. I also used Terra for edging and mulching in the spring and for several landscaping projects. They always do a professional job and are very knowledgeable.

Description of Work: Bought Angie's list deal for landscape services by Terra. They confirmed the purchase promptly, but it took them a long time to arrange an appointment, and then quite a long time afterward to send back drawings and proposals. And what i really wanted was suggestions on step i could take and plantings i could make to improve the curb appeal of my home. Their advice/proposal was really not helpful toward that end.

Description of Work: I bought the $49 pkg. he came out, we talked about areas I needed attention with. He said he would come back later after his vacation to take measurements and then put together a plan. I've never heard another word from him.

Description of Work: They took out a tree and trimmed back a whole bunch of stuff.

Description of Work: Landscapes by Terra designed and put in a dry creek bed, several flower beds, and a small paver patio for us over the last 2 1/2 years. Working with them on the design was a true pleasure. Our landscape architect, Collin, was obviously enthused about the project and provided us great ideas that met our budget and needs. The work done was beautiful. Since then they've done our bi-annual clean ups and continue to take great care of all our landscaping. They are prompt and responsive through e-mails, which is a major plus for us. We will definitely continue to use their services and to count on them for future projects.

Description of Work: We started with a Big Deal for general yard work. We added tearing out a large ivy bed, edging and mulching all the landscaping.

Description of Work: Mr. Richardson was very professional, thorough, pleasant. I chose not to use his services but not because of any shortcomings or "poor business practice". He drove a distance to come to my house from his usual place of work; I thought that alone,was great. He was punctual and paid attention to me. I gave him a "C " for price because his estimate of my project was more than I wanted to pay ( but that's why one gets an estimate, right ? ) I doubt I would use his services in the future because I went with another local company to do the landscape project I wanted done. I appreciated his expertise and hope he does well in his line of work.

Description of Work: I paid for my deal in the middle of June. Rec. an email stating they were not able to do the work until the end of July. I ask to look at my front yard and tell me what I can do for my 4 hours. I wrote Troy in the middle of Aug., stating I hadn't heard anything. Troy wanted to do additional work on the side of the house, I thought that may not be bad. The beginning of Sept. I wrote Troy stating I just wanted my 4 hours done. We are now in fall. He wrote back stating he would have put on the schedule. That made me angry I wasn't on the schedule. I was off work on Sept 11 and 12th and that was when I needed to have it done and they weren't able to do so. I did my own front yard. They were not able.

Description of Work: They did excellent work, quickly, when they finally scheduled us in. My wife and I agree - it was high quality, and we will use them again.

Description of Work: We had a sugar maple planted. The did a great job. They did tell me a couple of times that it would be planted, and they didn't show up. i didn't have to be there for them to plant it so it didn't mess up my schedule at all. I understand that this is a busy time of year. They did apologize for the delay.

Description of Work: This was in response to a "Big Deal", so the price was great - $99 for 4 man-hours of labor. The crew completed the job (removing a large pile of brush and branches) in that time, even though I approved extra time because I figured it would take them longer. Nicely done, would definitely use again. Thanks!

Description of Work: Colin has been wonderful to work with! We are doing a HUGE project of total renovation of our yard. It has involved lots of concrete removal (including a large stoop, a concrete pond/fountain, a cistern, our driveway and front steps and long sidewalk), downspout drainage installation to the street, brush and tree removal, yard filling and resurfacing, seeding and eventual planning and planting of flower beds, etc. The project has involved using additional contractors (concrete work, tree removal, downspout drainage systems) and each of these contractors arranged by Colin from Landscapes by Terra have been excellent as well. The project is still in process, but we've been very pleased with everything so far! We will give further feedback when the project is finally completed.

Description of Work: Collin, a landscaper from the company, walked our property with me and discussed not only a spring clean-up package I had purchased, but additional work that we wanted done. He was very helpful and understood that we might want the work spread out over the next year of so. The crew came and trimmed, cleared out, mulched and freshened. Our yard has never looked better. The price was very reasonable and Collin was very helpful. Even though this was a smaller priced job, we felt that we got first class work and attitude. The crew left everything clean and done. We would use them again, and I would suggest the company to anyone wanted a great job at a fair price.
