Not impressed. The estimator arrived early, so I had to interrupt work to meet him. Was not wearing a mask for COVID (I was). He took a few pictures and listened to what I needed. I did not get a good feeling from the conversation. Estimate was TRIPLE what others were. I will not consider them again.

We spent 6-12 months designing and evaluating companies to partner with for this home transformation. Out of the 3 companies we evaluated and measured against our needs Landscapes by Terra was the ONLY choice for us. Many companies to pavers well, many specialize in pavilions or decks, etc, etc, only landscapes by terra do it all and take all of the risk out of the equation and it’s due to their consulting and engagement process. I rarely ever submit reviews online but this company is more than a cut above everyone else. If you want the job done right and exactly in line with your vision there is no other choice in central Ohio. You pay for what you get. Landscapes by terra came in at a much higher cost of everyone else and we gladly spent the money and we are gladly going to enjoy what they built for years and years to come and we would gladly spend the money again. If you want to have a customer experience that delivers exactly what you vision that is effortless during the production phase then you have come to the right place. They will be the first place I call for anything. They even warranty their work for ten years which is unheard of in the industry!

We had a lot of work done to our backyard, including removing a playhouse and swing set, adding topsoil and seeding grass, adding a dry creek bed, and planting 15 bushes around the house. The project manager was very professional to work with and the crew not only did an excellent job but completed all the work on time.

Excellent, the crew was conscientious and did exactly what they said they would do.

At first, they were very responsive and came out right away to survey the property. I paid $400 for landscape design with the intention to proceed with whatever design we aligned on. I was told they would get back to me in two weeks with the design. After two and a half months without hearing from them or being able to get a response, they finally just refunded the $400. We missed out on the entire spring season and now having trouble finding another landscaper at this point who can fit us in for the season. I was very disappointed, and was hopeful based on early experience with them and the reviews. At least they eventually refunded our money, but that was after 8+ attempts to get in touch with them.

He looked at it but never submitted bid like he promissed.

Everything was great. They were on time, did all promised work, cleaned up before they left. Very easy to work with and price was reasonable.

We had about $10,000 in lawn replacement / landscaping work that we needed to have completed. We found Landscapes by Terra through Angie’s List. Submitted a request on Friday and received a prompt call back first thing Monday morning. Reviewed what we needed to have done and was told someone would call me to review and get a quote. 2 days later I called back and said I never received a call. Was told she would follow-up with the Sales person, who called me back same day. Said he or someone would contact me to meet the following week to review the project. It is now the end of the week and nothing., I just called the office and expressed by disappointment and will not be using them going forward. If that can’t return calls, how would I have confidence in awarding them any business. Was told they were short 2 sales people, which is not an acceptable response for not spending 30 seconds for someone to at least call me. Very disappointed.

He was very nice and felt like he wasn't listening to me. He took a lot of notes but still didn't give me what I wanted.

Very satisfied with the professionalism & timeliness of the personnel. Outstanding job of rebuilding perimeter wall. Planting looks to be fine. Will know for sure later in the Spring.

They did great work and we are very happy with the results! We will definitely hire them again.

Landscapes by Terra did a great job with our patio beginning with the design all the way through installation. They completed the project in less time than they thought it would take. The crew was there promptly every day and kept us informed of the process. They cleaned up each day before leaving and made sure everything was done as promised. You could tell that they took pride in their work which shows in the finished product. We were very happy with how everything turned out.

I could not be more pleased with Landscapes by Terra. They are professional, prompt, and thorough. I would not switch to another company, at this time, for any reason.

We hired them for the first time this year to do an annual yard clean-up and mulching. The worked performed was very good. They provided a lot more communication than our last landscaper (which was why we tried someone new this year). My only issue with them involves price and billing practices. For the amount of work performed, I believe their price was high. They didn't adjust the final bill from the estimate for the actual work performed; also noted by a final bill that lacked a break-down of actual hours of work and material costs for the mulch. If we choose to not rehire them next year, it would be based solely on price, not the work performed. The work was good.

I have been a Landscapes by Terra customer for over 10 years. The work done by Landscapes by Terra is excellent. The planning is thoughtful and all of my requests and/or changes were included in the planning document. Suggestions for plantings were creative and based on the growing conditions at my location. Planning took into account future growth of each plant and the amount of maintenance that would be needed. The work crew was knowledgeable, hardworking and courteous. I never use any other company – they’re the best!

The process was great! Collin met with us several times and listened well to the type of plants and installation we wanted. He was present to place all the plants and at the end of the process he came back and walked around the landscaping with me to explain plant care and maintenance. Austen and Peter were there the first day and planted everything properly and just as planned. Austen (foreman) kept me informed of the progress the whole time. Everyone (including the extra workers on the second day) were very polite and professional. Seth (the scheduler) kept me informed of the exact time they would arrive. The office staff was friendly and very helpful. They cleaned everything up before they left. Their price may seem a little higher than some, but the care they took planting, removing the horrible clay in the beds, adding compost to each hole as they planted, moving the existing landscaping stones to more appropriate spots and being flexible with customer input during the process made it all worthwhile. Thank you!

The crew showed up a few days earlier than anticipated and did a great job for me. They trimmed trees, bushes, cleaned the beds, edged and mulched. I left for work shortly after they arrived and when I got home everything was completed and looked amazing. This is the second year I have used this company for spring cleanup and I will definitely schedule them again next year.

I had Landscapes by Terra come to my house to give an estimate for a mulching project and a grading project. At first I was very please because they were able to work into my timeframe, which was great! But then I got the quote...the prices were obscene. I countered the initial offer for mulching at about 1/2 of what they were going to charge me, which was reasonable because the number in my head was based on an estimate I had for the same mulch job with a different company the year before. Which, I should add, I turned down and ended up doing myself to save a few hundred dollars. Then i actually learned how terrible dragging around 120 bags of mulch was and edging everything myself that I vowed never to do my mulching on my own again. Anyhow, I digress....I also said I would like the grading done at 1/2 of the estimate price as well. Basically my counter offer was rejected, I was offered a $500 reduced fee, but all in I was looking at a reduction of around $1500. I got another quote from another company and their quote was right in line with what I was willing to pay. If you're looking for simple landscaping jobs do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

It went pretty well. David came out and listened to what we wanted to do. He created a plan to incorporate a new water feature and several plantings. About 2 months later the work was completed. We also reached out to him recently to ask about winterization and he came by to take a look.

Everything went wonderfully. Ben was able to get the most possible work done for my budget. They trimmed all of the trees and removed dead bushes, they solved my drainage problems and planted grass that is filling in wonderfully, they made all new flower beds and fixed the existing beds, they added plantings that could survive in low light and high acidity that will grow to create a privacy screen, and they redid the patio with the existing pavers. They were excellent problem solvers and made my yard beautiful. Now all I have to do is mow and enjoy it. All of my neighbors are so happy with the look of my yard. The workers who came were kind and professional. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

It was excellent! Initial communications were timely, estimate was given. Scheduled promptly. They are my go-to for landscaping!

Showed up as scheduled to evaluate and give an estimate. We talked about everything we wanted done. They said they could do everything we wanted and he would write up an estimate and have it to me in a day or two. As of to day, over a month, we have heard nothing. We hired someone else.

I inquired on the website for an estimate and service. Someone did call me maybe a week later, which was fine. They stated they would be out to look at my property the following week and never showed up, or at least I haven't heard from them since. I don't want to give them a bad rating because I don't know the results of their work. I am giving them a C for lack of communication and follow-up.

Very smooth, professionally, and with then utmost attention to detail. The price was higher compared to 4 other estimates but they provided better materials, deivered what they expained in detail and on time, and have the best guarantee out of all of the businesses contacted. We have not had this kind of service from any contractors work out so great in decades!!
