Extraordinary. From the design process to the scheduling, to the completion of the job, everything was top notch. The finishes are beyond what we expected and we cant wait to use Terra again for our backyard project next year.

It has been at the very least, 3 weeks, and we still have not received a quote from this company on the work we discussed that we would like to have done.

I reached out to this company to have some drainage adjusted so water is properly directed. There was some question as to if this kind of service actually is something they perform. I was called back quickly by another lady who confirmed that they can handle this and that one of their estimators would reach out to schedule a time to come out and give an estimate within 4 days. It's now been several weeks and noone has reached out to schedule a time to come out. I'm really trying to get this corrected before winter and was excited to find a highly rated company on this site. Less so after aparantly being blown off.

Everything went well, we even added additional services during the installation process and they performed them without adding any time to the project. We will be using them again.

Outstanding! It was a small, but difficult job that other Angie vendors refused to quote. Landscapes by Terra came thru big time. I will hire no one else when it comes to the bigger, more lucrative jobs that I have coming up, since they came thru for me on this job.

Collin listened to us was willing to reuse some of the existing plants and stones that we liked. Presented several options. The landscaping looks great and we are very pleased. We had an issue with one of the trees they planted (bark was split). They replaced in a very timely manner. Highly recommend you consider Landscape by Terra. Thanks for making our look great!!!!

David designed for the front yard and the crew Josh, Colleen, and Zach did an excellent job and completed in 2 days! First day was tear out and prepared for planting next day. Second day all plants were done with mulch. Very impressive. All were very professional, Josh, the foreman, was very informative about the plants. David designed and not only showed what it would look like on the computer in different angles, but also left us a copy of each named plant along with a copy of the design. David's professionalism, putting together a design from listening to us and helping work on the total price of our project is why we chose this company. Definitely recommend and will use again.

I contacted Landscapes by Terra on April 9th. David was sent out to our house on the 16th to discuss the project at which point I was told he would have a quote to us in around a week. I hadn't heard anything back and followed up with an email on April 25th and have still never heard back.

We had Landscapes by Terra out to give an estimate on a paver patio on April 9, 2018. We are looking for a square patio that goes out 25 feet from our house with a wall around and a firepit. Pretty simple. When Collin arrived, the first thing he mentioned is that there is a $250 design fee.... this was never mentioned in setting up the appointment so you can imagine our surprise. We refused to pay since we have such a simple design and we're still in the estimate phase. He then agreed to give us a ballpark estimate without the $250 fee. He said it would be about a week to get it to us. After hearing nothing for 10 days, I followed up by email on April 19th. Collin responded "I will be working on this over the weekend and Monday and will get this over to you as soon as I have things completed." It's now May 6 and I still haven't heard anything. We have decided to go in a different direction from Landscapes by Terra. If they aren't reliable enough to provide an estimate, I'm not sure we can trust them to be reliable in the work.

Pros: Estimate and schedule on time, respectable, work crew speaks decent English, all items in contract fulfilled, decent work quality better than SAT Landscape. Cons: Price on higher side, even after Angie's 5% discount. General: David was respectable and won a new customer. I would hire again, but please reduce price a bit and you'd get A+.

I asked to have the bricks leveled and tightened in specific patio areas, some major tree work, and a spring cleanup. As a follow-on, I planned to use them for routine cleanup and misc. work this summer. They told me it would be 2 weeks for the tree work and 3-4 for the landscaping. To our surprise and without notice they showed up the following work day. That really wasn't a problem but it would have been nice to have some notice to prepare for them. The patio brick work done was excellent however on their own they decided to put vertical/raised brick edges on the areas on which they worked causing the rest of the patio edges that were not raised to be done to look the same way. Also, additional landscaping was required at my expense to raise grassy areas adjacent to the raised brick edges to compensate for the higher vertical brickwork. The original contract sent to me to sign included the removal of several shrubs as an option. I clearly crossed out and removed this from the contract when I returned the contract to them because I wanted to wait and do that work myself over the next 24 months. However, on the first day they removed the shrubs anyway and installed new ones. During the project, I asked for additional brick work to be done. The brick work they do is that good- it made some other areas look bad so I had them do those as well and asked them to add some gray oval river stone (house and garage are gray) to some edge areas. However, they laid down brown, various colors and sized river rock and put it in an area where I didn't want it. They replaced and fixed that without issue. When the bill came they charged me for the labor to make the patio edges consistent all around and the labor and shrub costs for installing the new shrubs I didn't want. I complained. After some hankering they adjusted the bill for the extra labor. Bottom line, Terra does excellent work but you have to be very careful to over-communicate what you want done with them. They blew it with me when they charged me for labor for work they created by not following their own contract, and then made me argue and negotiate with them about it with them to get the bill corrected. I didn't appreciate that part. It should have been right the first time.

Did not go well. Had trouble getting any kind of work from them. It took 9 months to get one unscaled, inaccurate 24x36" drawing, several computerized drawings, and one sketchy cost estimate. I was disappointing and hoped for more professional options.

We requested an estimate for replacing a retaining wall. A representative visited, discussed ideas, then said he would need a week or two to put an estimate together. We heard nothing for three weeks so I finally emailed asking for the promised estimate. After three more days he responded that he had not made time to finish the estimate and asked me to set a new deadline a week or two in the future. We elected to use a company that can better manage their time.

Work that was done was very nice. However I was underwhelmed with the end product. When the estimator was at my house he mentioned several suggestions that I hadn’t thought of so was excited to see the final results. Unfortunately those suggestions were not done because it would have cost ‘to much for the job’.

David was wonderful. Not only did he provide me the estimate needed, but he took potential work away from himself by directing me to the builder of the home instead - stating that it was a problem that they should be fixing, thereby taking potential business away from himself. I appreciate his honesty and should the builder not be willing to help in this matter, I will definitely be giving David a call.

Really well! They did a fine job of making recommendations for my soft and hard landscaping needs. Product selection, installation and servicing were all top drawer. Couldn't be happier!

I called David Bratka to quote removing the weeds and overgrowth that had grown chest high in the wooded section that makes up 50% of our suburban yard. We had tried repeatedly to tackle the job as a DIY without success and it was unsightly and unusable. After looking at the project and talking to us about how we might use the area, David proposed we consider turning the area into a park-like setting with plantings, a dry stream bed and a large seating area which would include our fire pit. He helped us to see what we had consoldered a liability as an asset. The landscaping team lead by Josh was polite, friendly, neat, hardworking, professional and knowledgeable. As they cleared the brush, they preserved "volunteer" trees and existing ground cover that fit the new landscape. They were willing to make adjustments per our request as the project progressed. David was on site often and answered whatever questions I had. They transformed our property and finished ahead of schedule. What was once a horrible mess is now a gorgeous, functional area that adds to our property value. We are absolutely thrilled! I highly recommend Landscapes by Terra.

Had to tweak some things that weren’t drawn true to scale on the design plan, but team was easy to work with and finished product is lovely.

They stand by the word. Jeff came out as soon as I emailed him. He said he'd get a crew out...I said no hurry, but the guys came out within two weeks, pulled up every paver and added in fill where needed. 7 years after the installation and it looks like new. It's rare to find a company that does what they say...Landscapes by Terra is one of those rare ones.

They did a great job. Team took the time to prepare the bed for new plantings, then plant new perennials? Very pleased with their work.

That's good. I would say that's all been very satisfactory. We had them do our whole front lawn, the whole landscaping of our whole house, so we are on a continuing basis working with them as we add things and see how things are working and stuff, so we've been working with them for four years, maybe almost five. It's great, that's why we go back to them. They've been fine. We really didn't do much compare to pricing. Everything's been fine that they do. They know what they're doing and it's been fine. They always come when they say they're going to come. They're very professional. We're planning on using them in the future as long as we can afford it!

I thought it went really well. I liked their drawings and recommendations. My only concern was that I had to call several times to get them emailed to me. The person that came to home home was very knowledgeable and gave me suggestions for trimming my trees, too.
