Description of Work: We paid in advance for a special offer from this company for a consultation and follow-up design and written design estimate. A representative from the company met with us and discussed possibilities for our yard during about a half-hour meeting. Two months later, on October 5th, I was concerned that we had not received the desing and estimate, so I sent an email to the company asking if we would receive a followup written report with suggestions for our yard. Jeff Stroupe promptly responded to my email that he would have someone contact me early in the week. In mid October we received a design for our yard which was very professional and helpful to us. In all communications with Terra Horticultural, their employees were courteous and professional.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's List Big Deal. It was for a landscape design consultation with Terra Horticultural Service. I had never done one of these before. But it was a good experience. I worked with Troy. We had a good meeting. He listened to my concerns about the area in question. Answered all my questions to my satisfaction. A couple of weeks later he had the proposed design completed and we met to discuss it. I had researched the proposed plant material and had questions and Troy answered all of them during our meeting. I requested a small change and he provided feedback and made the adjustment to the plan on the spot. I accepted the design and put a down payment on the work. As of this writing, all the work has been completed. I will provide another feedback after Troy and I have a final meeting. This has been a great experience and I can say the front of my home looks beautiful. I have never liked it better!

Description of Work: We had a stone patio built in the rear of our condo, which included the installation of plantings. Everyone says it is the most beautiful patio in our community. They did a fantastic job. They also came back after the ground settled to shore up some stones that had fallen. To accomplish this they had to dig up and reposition several plants. It looks beautiful!!! I recommended them to my neighbors who also had some landscaping done and they are equally pleased. By the way, Terra Horticultural did work at our home in Worthington several years ago, as well as my daughter's five acres. Their work is not only beautiful, but the follow-up and professionalism is exemplary.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's list deal. I got an estimate and plan to remove and replace some plants in two landscape areas. Also got estimate for removal of two ash trees. Price for landscape work seemed reasonable and plans while simple in design seemed fine. We will be scheduling the landscape work soon. May shop around for tree removal as price for that seemed high.

Description of Work: We have used Terra since 2003 for various services (paver patios, landscaping, landscaping maintenance and lawn care) and have always been pleased. They are all very personable and professional. We highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Services included edging and mulching on a tight timeframe. They delivered on time, as promised. The only downside is that the driveway was stained black b/c of the mulch. I had to power wash the drive to clean it up - just a hose would not wash it off. I contacted the company to thank them and mention that fact, but I received no responsive back.

Description of Work: The firm performs monthly maintenance on my landscaping and has done so for several years. Jeff is very professional and keeps his word. His crew consistanly does excellant work. I have recommended the firm to several friends.

Description of Work: They gave me a fair estimate but couldn't finish the work as fast as another company.

Description of Work: I called the company to get an estimate on mulching, edging and basic spring clean-up service. The person that called me back said that he'd be in my neighborhood later in the week and he would check out the property. He said I would not need to be home and that he'd e-mail me the estimate that Saturday. Never got the estimate, either by e-mail or phone.

Description of Work: Called Terra for an estimate on backyard landscaping and replacing an ash tree in front. Bruce Davis responded promptly and stopped out to provide input. He called back with ready plans and estimate in approximately a week. Excellent response, price, and plan. I did not use the service due to a time conflict but would recommend and call again.
