The results are that good it makes refinishing a no-brainer over replacing the whole cabinet or even just replacing the doors. With CCC's process, there is just no need to blow the 20 grand or so that replacement would have cost. The results are as good if not better. They basically look like brand new cabinets have been intalled and the color change really makes the space look brighter and larger. CCC's workmanship is particularly good and their level of customer service is truly exceptional. Highly recommended.

The overall experience was fantastic. Michael came out to give us a quote within a couple days of our first conversation. He was punctual and very professional. He was able to give pricing during that appointment and was 50% to 60% less than other quotes we had received. Our cabinets originally were a dark cherry and we wanted to lighten up the kitchen and match cabinets on another wall. He took one of our cabinet doors and painted it in the antique white glaze color to match our pre existing cabinets. It was a perfect match and looked just like a new cabinet door. I was unsure of what color to pick for the island, other than wanting to do a contrast. He recommended a dark brown that complimented the antique off white perfectly. He kept the schedule he promised, was very clean and organized with his materials and no paint was anywhere other than on the cabinets. He removes all doors and drawers and sprays those which gives a professional factory looking finish and then hand paints the frames. He also will plug holes and drill for new hardware for a very reasonable price. Our hardware came in after he had taken the drawers and he offered to drive all the way from Plain City to our home in Westerville with no complaints, truly knows how to treat customers. I highly recommend him if you want to update cabinets in your home and get the look of newly installed cabinets for a fraction of the cost. We are already discussing what color to finish the bathroom cabinets for our next project.

He takes the doors home and does the rest of the work in your home. It turned very well and it looks very nice!

We have a kitchen that we liked the layout of but we wanted it to be updated. We thought about just painting it, but our cabinets were laminate and paint wouldn’t stick to it. We went to a home and garden show later on and met the company there. They gave us an estimate, and they are able to use their products stick to the cabinets. So far I am really pleased with them! He was very responsive to everything; I had already painted and he was able to match the color.

This was a great experience for us. We had updated most of the kitchen two summers ago and finally got around to changing the cabinet color. We looked so long because 1) we don't have real wood, and 2) we wanted to make sure the cabinets could/would be painted instead of having a veneer "ironed on". We met Michael at the Home Improvement Show and were immediately impressed with the quality of his samples, his personality and the fact that he is the owner and craftsman. He took some time to tell us what he could and could not do, to show us our options, and then he followed up with us promptly. He came out and gave us a reasonable quote, told us exactly what his process would be and how long it would take, described his warranty, and gave us time to find exactly the right shade of paint we wanted (which was kind of a big deal for us). On the first day, he removed all the hardware, doors and drawers - very professionally. This had been a bit of a concern because we'd just had some ShelfGenie retrofits and wanted to make sure they were properly removed and re-installed. We didn't even have to unload the cabinets! The next day he primed and painted the cabinet boxes, taking great care to cover and protect everything. Right on schedule, he returned the beginning of the following week to install the "new" cabinet doors and drawers. Again, everything went very smoothly. They were all clean and smooth; Michael even filled some extra holes that resulted when we changed from knobs to pulls, and he replaced broken magnets and added rubber stoppers to keep the doors and drawers closing very quietly. We hadn't expected any of that and so were pleasantly surprised. Michael carried out the whole job just the way he said he would. He was diligent and industrious; he finished each day in sufficient time and order for us to actually use the kitchen! On top of all that, Michael was very personable and agreeable. Although I prefer not to provide actual cost information, I do want to say that Michael did extra work for us at no additional charge. This was due to a misunderstanding on our part, and our reluctance to pay the additional cost that was customary for the additional work we requested. Instead of risking an unhappy or dissatisfied customer, Michael quickly, and without any attempt to make us feel "bad" about it, insisted that he would do the work at no cost. We were, and are, grateful that he was so generous - of economics and spirit. We have recommended Michael to others already, and will certainly call on him if we need this kind of service again.
