CCC did an amazing job painting our 20 year old wood cabinets. The work was pristine quality, the guys were professional and pleasant and the job was done in even less time than they estimated. We had a few extra requests in altering the mullions on our glass front cabinets, and they helped us achieve the look we were after. Their work is even better than we thought it could be. They brought new life to a dull, drab kitchen. We highly recommend them.

Michael and Columbus Cabinet Coatings were all great to work with from start to finish. Shelia was able to get us scheduled for a quote and then the project in a reasonable time. The guys did an excellent job, sanding, priming and painting all my cabinets and they look brand new! I couldn’t be happier with the finished job. They were always polite, on time, very pleasant and most of all, hard workers. They really do care about the customer’s satisfaction. I am so glad I had them complete this project! They made the biggest impact in my new updated kitchen!

At the time that the job was completed, I don't have any problems. But now the paints are wearing of to the drawers.

Wow. These guys are wonderful. We have worked with many contractors renovating 3 old homes. These guys may be the best. They are from a different time where contractors cared about their work and watched every last detail. There were simply great to work with. The quality of the cabinet painting made us feel dumb for every buying new cabinets. You get so beat down by mediocre contractors. People who operate at this level are a breath of fresh air.

It went great. Shelia is very easy to work with for scheduling. Michael is punctual and provides your estimate upon his first visit. He is very thorough and receptive to questions and idea. Both he and Sheldon are very neat and clean up afterwards. All cabinets look great!

From start to finish, quote to last day of work, it went very well. Can't say enough about what a great experience I had with Columbus Cabinet Coatings. I had gotten other quotes but was very happy that I chose to work with this company. They had an eye for detail. They sanded and painted all cabinets, installed the molding and trim at the tops and bottoms of my cabinets, and finally installed knobs and bumpers. Highly recommend this company if you are looking for this type of work done on your cabinets. My only regret is that I didn't go ahead and get bead board/wainscoting installed! Should have done it...

CCC was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I originally talked to Sheila to schedule my service, and she was prompt in all her responses back to me and detailed in her questions. I was originally disappointed that they were so busy that I had to schedule my service a little later than I was hoping, but it was completely worth the wait! They are busy because they are that good! When it was time to come, they arrived on time and were so nice and professional. There were no surprises, and each day they came they completely cleaned up and put everything back the way they found it. When they completed the job, I felt like I had brand cabinets! They did my entire kitchen, including floor to 10 foot ceiling cabinets and an extremely large island. They also did my master bath and an additional bathroom, as well as a wet bar and my laundry room. It's been several months and there hasn't been a single chip, scratch or problem. It feels like my cabinets were factory finished, and I get compliments every time someone comes into the house. I can't recommend CCC strongly enough! They cost more than a typical painter would charge, but they are worth the price a million times over!

I can tell Mike takes pride in his work. He and his crew made the job simple for us as he did a great job of fulfilling everything we discussed on the initial consult. I am amazed at the end product! I was nervous about sanding down existing 15 yr. old cabinets then repainting vs. purchasing new but the end result was fantastic! My kitchen looks like we put a new set of cabinets in them. They were no grain marks visible and the finish coat is dead on a cabinet from the factory. Trustworthy guy and price was very fair. I would highly recommend CCC.

Mike and his crew did an outstanding job with our kitchen cabinets! His professionalism, punctuality and attention to detail were outstanding. We had been considering a kitchen renovation and replacing out cabinets, but decided to go with Mike instead. They were 20 year old cabinets in an oak finish, and Mike and his crew gave them an off white with a brown glaze finish. We feel like we have a new kitchen at a fraction of the price! I would absolutely recommend CCC if you are considering having your cabinets painted!

We had a great experience with Columbus Cabinet Coatings. Mike was very friendly, professional and the finished product looks outstanding. He kept his schedule to the day that he originally promised, and during the process continually checked with us to make sure we were happy with how it was going. He took a ton of pride in his word and really put a lot of effort into the small things like filling the gaps between the cabinets, fixing chips, straightened a full cabinet doors and pulls that were not installed correctly originally, etc. We would 100% recommend him, his work was outstanding and his prices were thousands cheaper than a few of the other estimates we had received.

They did a great job from the initial appointment to the completion of the job. Mike was great he met our time line and with the job being so big he had no problems coming back and touching things up because I'm picky. Lol I truly feel that there are a lot of painters out there but nobody could have done as good of job as mike did. Thanks mike we love our new home.

The overall quality and final product is good but for the higher price paid and positive reviews I saw here I expected a better degree of customer service and greater attention to details. Mike was professional during the estimate and let us know he had a several month wait to begin work. He began on the exact date promised and spent 2 weeks working on our cabinets (mostly at his shop). When he returned to reinstall the cabinet doors there was still wood showing in the edges/cracks and that bothered me. When I asked him about it he was defensive and rude and argued that it was the grain showing through. It was not until I persisted that he agreed to go back and touch up the cracks where wood was showing through. It looked better after that. A couple of months later, the paint had cracked in the crevices on almost every cabinet door. When I called and asked Michael about it, he argued that it was just the grain showing through and there was nothing he could do. I communicated that I was unhappy with the result of his work and he told me that I was entitled to my opinion. A month ago, I decided to try one more time before we paid someone else to repair it. I emailed updated photos to Michael Flood and he responded that he believed the caulk used in the crack was bad and said he could fix it. We set up an appointment for a few weeks out, he came to pick up the doors, repaired and re-installed them a week later. Four months later we finally have the results we were originally hoping for.

I found Michael to be very professional, knowledgeable and honest. He arrived on time and was very meticulous cleaning up after himself. I was originally going to paint the cabinets myself...but I watched a "how-to video" online and there were too many steps involved...so I called CCC. He explained the entire process to me when he gave me the estimate...and it was well worth the cost! And much cheaper than purchasing new cabinets. Our cabinets were nice, but they were wood laminated and looked dated. I had them painted white and they look fresh and up-to-date now thanks to Michael. I highly recommend Columbus Cabinet Coatings for this type of work! You won't be disappointed. My only complaint is directed to Angie's List, as I had a VERY HARD time finding a vendor who painted cabinets! They list painters, but nothing this specific. I urge Angie's List to create a category just for this as I'm sure others have had the same experience.

after debating for years whether to paint by old cabs. or rip them out and replace them I was finally convinced to try the paint route after seeing the examples of the work of Columbus Cabinet Coating at the last home and garden show. I am so glad I did. the results are great, the experience was painless and I just could not be more pleased.

We were provided with reminder calls a few days before the date of service. Mike was prompt on both dates, He was professional and friendly. He explained exactly what was going to happen and the amount of time needed. We are so pleased with our cabinets and have had numerous compliments. We are having him come back in January and paint both of our upstairs bathrooms. Would highly recommend him!

CCC did a good job as far as painting goes; however, his pricing is too high. I knew it was high going into the job; however, from reading the other reviews, I expected to have an experience that was above and beyond simple painting. I knew I had some issues with a few of my drawers and some of my cabinets and working with CCC and paying a higher fee, I expected him to do minor repairs and/or provide some sort of value add. My experience was really the exact opposite. He was here to paint and only to paint. He did not make any suggestions or express an opinion on anything and simply painted the colors I told him to paint. When I saw the color on the island that I'd chosen, it didn't go very well with my countertops and I mentioned it to him. He told me to just wait and see if I'd get used to it. I then contacted him two days later and asked if I could change the color out and he stated he just finished all the drawers and doors for the island the previous day so he would have to charge 50% more to just repaint the doors and drawers or 75% more of the original cost to repaint everything and I'd have to wait a month. He later offered 50% to repaint all of it but I'd still have to wait a month. With how much I paid in the first place and the schedule in which I wanted this done, this wouldn't work for me. I ended up repainting the bathroom cabinet and the island including all doors/drawers myself in less than 4 hours total. Another slight issue is he paints quite a bit without taping or plastic. For the most part, he is very neat; however, I have dark brown flooring and the spray from the paint got on the floor. I mentioned this to him and he did scrape some of it off on a couple points but I still keep finding white paint spray here and there, especially in the grooves of the floor. Overall, he is a good, dependable painter, but his fee is not in line with a good, dependable painter.

Hands down one of the best contractors I have ever worked with!! Mike did an outstanding job! He just finished painting our kitchen, living room built-ins and bathroom cabinets last week. There were 37 cabinets and drawers all together. He did a fabulous job! I can't believe how much a change in paint color can improve the look of a room. He completed the three rooms of cabinets in just ten days. Even with me changing my mind on the paint colors in the living room after he already painted half the cabinets. He didn't even charge me extra for the time it took to repaint them. It's the little touches that made me give him all As. He put the child safety locks back on the cabinets for me once they were painted and added a bumper to the backside of the cabinets and drawers so they don't bang when you close them. He also suggested that I put bead board on the flat sides of the kitchen cabinets to give it a higher end look. I'm so glad that I did!! If you're thinking about painting any cabinets in your home Mike is the person to call!!
