Joyce arrived on time, worked expeditiously and was very informative. She told me things about the locking systems that I didn't know. I was very shtisfied with her work.

I contacted AAD by email from the Angie's list website. Joyce responded promptly suggesting that I call to make an appointment which I did. She responded the next day and came out immediately to perform the work. She was very efficient and professional, performing the requested work with no problems of any kind.

I was very surprised and upset by Provider's rude and unprofessional manner of communication.

She explained the lock had never been installed properly. She showed me exactly what was happening with the lock. She is very thorough and patient. She also checked my front door just in case as she said when I opened the front door for her, it didn't seem right. The deadbolt was only going in about a quarter of the way so she fixed that as well. Her price was also very reasonable. I appreciate her taking the time to explain everything to me.

I had a wonderful experience with Joyce from AAD Security Locksmith from start to finish. I found her here, and I'll be the first to admit I chose her because I felt more comfortable with a female unknown to me coming to my home. It was nice to find a woman doing this kind of work. I first contacted her about a month prior to the actual appointment to say I was buying my first-ever home and I wanted to either replace the locks or have new keys made, just in case the previous owner had given out keys that weren't retrieved or destroyed when she sold the property. We discussed the details both by phone and by email (email is always my preference - easier to confirm and not forget details!) We set an appointment, based on my expected closing date....and then we played email and phone tag as my mortgage company kept postponing my closing! She was entirely professional and patient. Three weeks later, I finally called and left a message to say (after SIX postponements) I'd closed that morning and was ready to set an appointment. I was thinking, since the holiday weekend was just a day away, it would end up being sometime the next week. She called back and said she could get me in THAT day! She looked over the locks I had and said they were of a quality that I wouldn't need to replace them, I could just have them rekeyed. She took apart the locking mechanism, asked how many key copies I'd like, and returned to her van. About 10-15 minutes later (I wasn't keeping track, could have been a little less or a little more), she came back, put the locks back together, lubricated the locks and door mechanisms, and handed me my keys! If I have any need for a locksmith in the future, I will definitely contact her again. I recommend her without hesitation.

Joyce was responsive, professional, polite, and quickly performed the job. We'd certainly recommend her to others and use her again for our future locksmith needs. I don't recall the cost of the invoice; but, I recall thinking it was nominal/reasonable.

I called Joyce around 9 AM. She answered the phone; said she would come that day by 2 PM and she arrived about noon. Replaced the lock sets on our main front and back doors. We found Joyce in Angie's List in 2004, and have called her a number of times over the years. She is a thorough professional, and we are very happy with her work and the service she provides.

I attempted to replace a deadbolt and doorknob lock on my front door. I soon realized I needed a pro. I called Joyce at 10:00am the next morning and she said she could be at my house the same afternoon. She called when she was on the way as she said she would. Joyce was professional, neat and knowledgeable. She showed me how the previous hardware was not installed properly and she installed the hardware at a very reasonable cost. I would recommend AAD Security Locksmith without hesitation.

They were easy to contact and promptly returned my call - I needed someone in 24 hours and they were able to accomodate that request. They called me 30 minutes before arrival so I could meet them from work. It only took about 15 minutes to repair and he was on his way. I am extreamly satisfied with the work and would recommend to others.

After initial phone contact, she was able to fit us into her schedule that day or the next. Arrived promptly, discovered cause of problem. Discussed with us at length how she was going to fix the lock and how to prevent problem in the future. She made us extra sets of keys for the lock. Very knowledgeable about her trade. Very pleasant experience overall.

She repaired the frame, hinges, and lock. She reinforced the door jambs. It was restored to orginal condition, if not better! The door works better than before.

Joyce was a true professional and did a fantastic job. She replaced my door locks, corrected upside down locks and drilled out a larger hole so the existing lock would fit properly. She cleaned up the mess she made with the drill & gave me an Angie's List discount. I'm keeping her business card & will definitely call Joyce if I am in need of a locksmith again. UPDATE: My front door lock that Joyce had previously replaced was acting strange. The key would sometimes continue to turn so I knew something was wrong. I called Joyce about the problem & she came out to repair it quickly. I decided that since the whole thing had to be replaced, I wanted to have a keyless, dial pad entry. She went to Home Depot & purchased the product, calling me a couple of times to make sure she got what I wanted. She then installed it & I love it. Joyce is great at what she does.

She arrived close to the time indicated and went about her business with no fuss to us. She has done work for me in the past and she did not disapoint with her quality output this time either.

The deadbolt to the garage was becoming increasingly problematic. The key was sticking in the lock, and often getting outright stuck. In addition, the deadbolt was often not turning at all. It was to the point that my husband and I had stopped using the deadbolt completely, not wanting to get locked out of the house with the key stuck in the lock! While painting over the weekend, we removed the door from the frame, and removed the door hardware to ensure we only painted the door. When the door was reattached, and my husband was reinstalling the hardware, he couldn't get the deadbolt to go back on the door. At that point, we knew it was time to call a professional! We called Joyce on Monday morning, and around lunch had a response from her that she would be out around 3:30pm that same day. Joyce arrived promptly, and was extremely courteous and professional. She asked if we would be agreeable to keeping our existing lock if she were able to repair it, to which we said yes. She was able to successfully repair the lock, and reinstalled it on the door. She wasn't happy with how it was interfacing with the door frame, and made an adjustment to ensure the deadbolt would turn easily and secure without pushing on the door to align with the lock. Joyce also lubricated both locks on the door, as well as the front door lock, and cut 3 new keys. She was very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to interface with, and her services were reasonably priced. We will definitely use her services again for any locksmith needs!

She was the most competent and courteous person I have ever dealt with and is absolutely the best at her job. She fixed several locks that we thought we would have to replace. She also adjusted both our new storm doors that she did not install, but some indivuals from Home Depot did, at no additional cost.

I phoned Joyce in the morning; she told me when she could come, but called back a few minutes later to apologize and tell me that she would be delayed, giving me a later arrival time. I appreciated her courtesy and her timeliness. She replaced the old deadbolt and repaired the strike plate of both the deadbolt and the doorknob. She was friendly, efficient, and professional---and she was very conscientious about cleaning up after she was finished. And I thought the cost was very fair.

I left a message on voice mail and my call was returned within 2 hours. They were able to come over right away and finished the job within a couple of hours. Very professional! I would recommend this company!

Joyce called Anderson doors & windows and had new parts shipped to reinstall on door. Door works great now. Joyce was timely and thorough with the work. Definitely would use her again.

After reading the reviews of many locksmiths on Angie's List, I chose AAD Security Locksmith due to all the positive recommendations. I called in the morning and left a message with what my problem was. Joyce returned my call later and came out to do the work at the exact time she said she would arrive the same afternoon. After analyzing the problem, she repaired the door lock and handle quite efficiently. She had to leave to get a new interior part for the lock, but returned in a timely manner and finished the work. She also took care of the deadbolt as well as the hinges on the door. After her work, the door finally opens and closes easily, we are more secure than we had been, and the seal on the door is tighter than it was. I am very pleased with Joyce's expertise and professionalism. She was very friendly and did a great job explaining what she was doing while she was working. Since I have never had to call locksmiths before, I have nothing to compare as far as the cost is concerned so I cannot comment on the repair price. I would not hesitate to call her again if I need any work on any of my locks in my home.

We called Joyce when we broke a key in the back door lock. She came quickly and easily extracted the key but then spent quite a bit of time working on other problems. She fabricated a new mounting plate for the front door lock, rekeyed two cylinders adn provided new keys and remounted the knob on the spindle of the front door. she was quick, efficient and did a great job. We have had no problems since. We highly recommend her.

Joyce is amazing - an absolute joy to work with! Her response time was same day and she arrived when she said she was going to arrive. She offered some suggestions and recommendations related to our locks and the security of our home which were gratefully accepted. Her recommendations on the locks allow us to have less keys to carry! She worked for quite some time to get the dead bolt to work correctly...it was not sticking, it was actually not engaging correctly and a huge security risk! This is one lady who knows her stuff!!! She shows pride in her workmanship, takes a perfectionist approach and offers very fare pricing! As we are renovating and probably going to need new doors, we will absolutely call her to key all the new locks! She deserves an A+...too bad this rating system doesn't go that high!
