I have lived in my home for 16 years. Never had a water problem until now. Last week I went downstairs into the basement. I found water on the floor and a wet wall. Called Ohio State Waterproofing, they came and checked the basement. Explained what the problem was. Came out the next week and fixed it. The crew was prompt, friendly and on time. Cleaned up when they were finished. The foreman Larry answered all my questions and explained in detail what they were doing. J.B. Wadsworth

We have had a good experience with Ohio State Waterproofing. We had to waterproof an old Shaker home shortly after buying the house. The former owners had neglected annual repairs and it was a mess. While they may not have been the least expensive, the job was done right the first time. A hard working crew and team that was thorough and considerate with great clean up. We have had them back once or twice to double check on a couple of things. Professional, courteous, and fast. In the years since the repair, every time we have a huge downpour, I double check the basement and am relieved to find no water!

This is a great company. If you have a sump pump failure, they replace it free of charge as long as you keep your service contract in force. They also address drainage and wetness problems promptly. Their staff is friendly and professional. Well worth the $40 annually.

Ohio State Waterproofing did an excellent job in our basement. We called them because our daughter used them at her house and spoke highly of them. They were prompt and got the job done on time. Third property we have hired the expert. One in Painesville and two in Fairport Harbor over a 10+ year period. You definitely get what you pay for, top notch results and great follow-up service. December 18, 2015 Re: Ohio State Waterproofing To Whom It May Concern: From the first visit with Sean McNeill, inspection and sales, we experienced an extremely pleasant and productive relationship with Ohio State Waterproofing (OSW). Every aspect of this company is first class. It is easy to understand why tens of thousands of people have entrusted their homes to be waterproofed by OSW. On December 17, 2015, at 7:10 a.m., a large truck backed into our driveway. Looking like bees exiting a hive, the workers piled out of the truck and began unloading buckets, pipes, shovels, and all other types of materials and equipment. I greeted Larry, foreman for the job. After a short exchange of greetings, he handed me a small booklet which included answers to several questions which I had anticipated asking. Nevertheless, Larry was always available to answer questions or clarify procedures/conditions and, on a few occasions, called me out to show me why we had a specific water problem and then explained how the problem would be corrected. All of the workers were pleasant, responsive, and on task. Understandably, I was skeptical when told that our job would be completed in two days, considering the large amount of work to be done. However, once I saw how these experienced workers went about their various duties, it was no surprise that the work was completed thoroughly and quickly. Unfortunately, many of today's products and repairs seem to be designed with built-in obsolescence. However, when one considers the quality of the work, the skill of the workers, the number of satisfied customers, and the remarkable long-term warrantee of OSW, it is easy to understand why it is the premiere waterproofing company in Northeast Ohio and beyond. We had our entire basement and yard dug up and repaired and waterproofed. The crew was very professional, they did a great job, they cleaned up after themselves and the work appears to be top notch. The crew was very respectful. They were done in 4 days. and they did a LOT of work.

OSW waterproofed our home in Elyria in 1993. They have been easy to work with and even fixed a concrete block that my husband broke and didn't charge us extra. We were very pleased with their work and they stand by their word! Our sump pump had died right during the middle of some massive storms. I called them and they had no one available to come out. I asked if I contacted a plumber, got the work done and paid for it, would I get reimbursed. With out hesitation they agreed. When we purchased our home the previous owner hired Ohio State Waterproofing to keep the basement dry. Every year we renewed the warranty but never expected to use it. Recently, our sump pump failed and we did not realize it until we saw water in the basement coming up from the sump well. I ran out, purchased a new sump and called figuring OSW would tell me the sump was not covered. Instead OSW sent out a new sump and an inspector who found an unrelated issue that required a complete re-run of the sump outflow and a new trench to the storm sewer. All services were performed under warranty and done quickly with a minimum of disruption to our property. I sleep better during storms knowing that OSW has got our back if we ever have another issue.

With signs of mold in our basement, and after some due diligence on our part, we called Ohio State Waterproofing. A representative was sent to our home to examine the mold and gave us options and pricing. Within two months of signing a contract, a crew of installers were on-site to complete the inside and outside work. The crew was hard working and completed the job in three days. They were very good about keeping their work supplies and work site in a neat and orderly manner. Each morning we were told what was to be completed that day and each evening a walk thru was conducted to examine the day's work. The crew as friendly, courteous, professional and answered all questions presented to them. The landscaping and final cleanup were done to our satisfaction. Almost 30 years ago we had Ohio State waterproofing fix our basement. We have not had an issue with water in our basement since then. We highly recommend them for anyone who wants a job done right the first time ! Dianne A Lorain
