My experience was completely an utter nightmare. A employee of Ohio state waterproofing Chris holderwas referred to me. Yes, he does concrete work on the side.He laid a driveway Part Of one. Approximately Three large slabs that Began cracking chipping Breaking stone arising Ect. The equipment That was used was the o Ohio state waterproofing trucks as I have In. My yard. I tried To the manager Regional Chad Who said this is out of his Hands As it. Was done Off the clock. Prior He did send out one of his Man to look at the drive And he himself said it Was a terrible job and needed to Redone and he would see if he could get me some compensation As I paid four thousand doLars for this work. After going back-and-forth with him and him telling me that he has nothing to do with this and I explained to him. His trucks were in my driveway. He did bring Chris and another individual into the office. Three-way phone conversation and Chris came back out to assess the driveway and said he would redo it. I told him no, because he had no guarantee that the driveway would come out any differently. The cement was mixed by hand was not used with a cement truck.Rebar was not put down.Spacers were not put down etc. Chris Who originally laid the driveway rode up a contract saying he would pay $500 a month.The second wednesday of every month until january Twenty twenty five paying back all of the cash He paid the first portion with a reminder from us as a cell request The second portion he had excuses after excuses finally Finally receiving money and now Third month there is no way to contact him as this phone numbers are not going Through. It appears he has since bounced. Chad prior conversation said he would send one of his employees out and that I should take chris to small claims court. I have had many contractors come out and make the same comments about the work that was done.Recently I had a professional company.Come out and relayed the driveway.And such a big difference and beautiful job they did. I would never recommend ohio state waterproofing For anything and I am not the only person That says that someone needs to be Accountable for the work and the charge I paid and the person that layed the first driveway and trashed the company he works for. I have reached out to many avenues to receive professional advice as to how to move on.Remember Ohio state waterproofing manager Was the first 1 to tell me to take chris to small claims court. If there is anyone out there that can assist, I would greatly appreciate it.

I did my own research. Ohio State Waterproofing has been around for 45 years and they are known to be the number one in Cleveland area. I’m concerned about some of the other waterproof you suggested. Prestige waterproofing operates out of a garage and they have not had a positive review in five years. I also learned that the owner has changed names numerous times. I’m not sure if you gave me Ohio basement systems but I found out that they are out of state company that the contract states if there’s any kind of dispute with this company, you have to file in West Virginia. I also learned that their system that they presented the homeowner is not the system they install, because their system is not approved in most communities in the Cleveland area. Very very happy with Ohio State Waterproofing but I do believe you folks need to do a little better job with your research. Thanks so much for your help.

I do not recommend this company they tell you that it can be done such as my cracks and uneven garage flooring,gave me a price and said it would be done for that price not only was it not done they wanted to charge me another 4000.00 so it would be done correctly.The job was never completed and they wouldnâ t give me my 600.00 deposit back all about ripping people off shame on you!

DO NOT GO WITH OHIO STATE WATERPROOFING IF YOU HAVE BASEMENT WATER ISSUES. Here is why: I am a customer from Maple Heights, Ohio. I contacted Ohio State Waterproofing to waterproof my basement due to rain water issues that would cause my basement to accumulate puddles and pose a health hazard. After contacting OSW, they inspected my basement, and we agreed upon a contract to remedy the issue. The team came as scheduled and worked for three days to attempt to fix this issue. The team assured us that after their work was finished; we should be able to put a carpet in the basement with no worry of ever having to deal with water issues again. The day after the team finished their work, the sump pump alarm went off. The following morning, we notified the company of this - as they asked for us to do in case of any issues - and a person came to address the situation. At that point, the sump pump alarm was turned off, and it was believed to be the end of my problem. However, the next day, the sump pump alarm went off again. The same day, we called OSW to explain the situation. A day to a few days later, they sent an employee with over 25 years of experience to come examine the basement. After surveying the basement, the employee told me that the job was unprofessionally done. The employee scheduled a day for him to fix this issue. After a few days passed, this employee came and had to redo the entire sump pump unit due to the improper installation. The employee appeared to be very frustrated because of the incomplete work that was done prior. After the hassle that ensued, I believed that my basement was fixed with no further problems. Little was I to know, I would experience an even worse problem than before. One day in early October, there was a heavy rain downpour. I was not anxious regarding this because I believed that the work was properly done. I walked down to my basement expecting to see no signs of water; but there was a huge puddle in front our washing machine. We contacted OSW that day to explain the new issue and frustration. They decided to send a higher level employee to assess a few days later. This employee also agreed that the work was done unprofessionally. He confirmed this by performing tests to show me the technical issues that occurred. He stated that they will come to fix the issue once again. However, after paying them in full, they told us that we will have to wait until they have an open date - which happens to be in December. We are now waiting, and the basement still has water as if we did not have work done at all. I choose this company because they are rated 5 stars and have been operating for 40+ years. I am very frustrated with the quality of service OSW has demonstrated, and I would recommend to stay away from this company if you are need of similar service. They did not do as they advertised, so I pose a question to you: 40+ years in service helping people, what can be better than that?

I did shop around and while Ohio State was not the cheapest, I heard nothing but great things from people i knew that used them. Some had used otherâ  s services and then later used ohio state. The team who worked on my house were on time, fast and polite. As they say you get what you pay for. I am grateful to have dry basement again.

make sure you read the fine print on your contract BEFORE you sign it. some things void the contract. like having to replace a wall and have someone OTHER than them do it. all inside and outside work is NOT replaceable if someone other than Ohio State does it.

Great company. Have had their warranty for over 20 years. Excellent service when called. We picked up the warranty when we bought our home and they stand by it 100%.

Cleanup was great. time frame was great. Had my basement waterproofed in 1997. Been bone dry ever since. In 26 years, Iâ ve had my sump pump changed 3or 4 times. They were changed promptly and my basement stayed dry. Thanks Ohio state waterproofing.

Mold used to grow in our basement. My son's allergies acted up. Since Ohio State Waterproofing did their thing to our basement, no more mold and my son can spend hours down there without runny eyes, stuffy nose, etc. I am pleased and would recommend them.

Ohio State Waterproofing is a very reputable company. Their quality of workmanship is excellent. They are very prompt to answer any questions and respond quickly to any issues that occur.I highly recommend this company.

They do not stand behind the warranty. Will not fix the issues. They did not do the job as I was told. I would not recommend them waterproofing a dog house. Do not use this company! It will be a waste of money

Overall they did exactly what they said they would efficiently and professionally. I have had no issues since and appreciate their continued follow up and would recommend their company.

My basement was waterproofed by Ohio State Waterproofing over 30 years ago and it was an exceptionally good investment. The basement had red clay tile walls and was always wet after even a light rainfall. Even when the sump pump needed to be replaced, it was replaced immediately and professionally at no cost to me. Over the years, I have appreciated how knowledgeable and friendly Stacy and the Ohio State staff are regarding my payment of my warranty and any questions I have regarding my warranty coverage. I would recommend this company for anyone having water issues in their basement. The space can simply provide extra storage space or another room for the family.

No problems with this company at all. Great company. We acquired this warranty when we purchased our home 18 years ago. Professional, friendly and responsive. We had them come out to inspect and replace one of our pumps. Fast and courteous. Highly recommend

Ohio State was prompt in responding to my calls. They are knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant when they come to the house. Very professional and courteous. When our backup to the sump pump wasnâ t working, they came out and repaired it quickly and efficiently. It was very appreciated! I highly recommend Ohio State Waterproofing.

Horrible craftsmanship under trained employees left my basement a complete disaster I have a smell coming from my Sub crock smells like sewer I had a plumber out and said the drain tiles are broken at my foundation they are coming out three weeks later to fix what they said was finished waterproofing job I would never recommend these people to anybody

But they hung in there, not complaining, not asking for more money and completed the job on time and for the originally agreed upon price. Great to work with them and their crew who are employees of OSW, not (in this case at least) outside contractors.
