Ferro was the foreman on the job and he was excellent in explaining what they were going to do as well as listened to any comments I had. The basement of my 100-year-old home was a wet mess before I hired OSW. I interviewed three other firms, but OSW's solution was by far the most complete. The crew was courteous, friendly, hard working and thorough, starting every day with "Any questions?". Richard, Jay, and crew arrived on time each day. The job was very labor intensive, and they worked diligently to complete it. Richard took time each day to walk me through the basement and around the house to explain what they had done, what they would do the next day, and answer any questions I had. The whole crew were very courteous throughout the project, and they did an excellent job cleaning up. We are very pleased with the job they did!

Our experience with Ohio State Waterproofing, from start to finish, exceeded our expectations. We were devastated when we discovered the water issues in our finished basement but every person (without exception) that was sent to us has been wonderful and helpful. From Frank at the introduction, to Chandler installing the E-Z Breathe, to Greg and his crew completing the jobâ ¦I honestly canâ  t say a negative thing about any of them. I am a financial planner and work from home (with two large, loud dogs) so I was very worried about being able to speak with clients and do my work with a crew of people in and out of my house all day. Greg was very understanding and communicated with me verbally as needed as well as, at my request, via text so that I would not be disrupted and/or agitate the dogs. He prepared me for when they would arrive, when there would be loud noise and when they would be leaving so that I could effectively plan my day. They all deserve a huge kudos!!!

Foreman, Javad was very patient with all my questions and concerns and his team took the time while they were working to explain every step of the way to make sure we were comfortable. He gave us his cell phone to call him each night with questions and we took advantage of that. That is superior customer service.The entire crew was very courteous at all times and were very conscious of not damaging my floors and surfaces in the house. They worked very hard and timely and even had to deal with a large yellow jacket nest in my cinder block. I will recommend them to Everyone .

The team doing our waterproofing were efficient, hard working and professional. They were extremely kind to my husband who was home during this time. He had been in the construction business and they really listened to his input and responded to any questions. He was very impresses with th we I'd hard work and clean up.

We had our basement waterproofed the end of March 2019 and our basement worse now than before we started. If I could give zero stars and get all my money back ($18,000!!) I would. The water is now coming through out walls because they did not dig down far enough when waterproofing. They will do the bare minimum at first then come back many times to fix what they should have done the correct way from the beginning. When the salesman came to our house (which he pressured us beyond belief to sign that night) he took pictures of our de-humidifier and told us we needed to get rid of it (I have documentation to prove all of this) because it spreads mold, and they would install an EZ Breathe system into the home which will filter out all the bad air. Since we now have more water in our basement our basement is covered in mold and mildew. A supervisor came out to our home and informed us that we needed a de-humidifier. We explained to him what the salesman told us and he said the company would buy us a new one. We said we wanted the mold and mildew taken care of and they said that they would have someone come out and spray it and re do the waterproofing to dig down to the foundation.....in November! We have a basement that is unlivable and they are not in any hurry to get this resolved. The customer services department is rude and I dread having to call them. Unless this company makes a huge turnaround and fixes our basement correctly and hires honest sales people I would never recommend them to anyone.

I have waited for 2 months for service and the guy that comes out cant even do the job. The person that came out didn't even know what a backwater valve or sewer backflow preventer was! Instead the only thing he can install is a Second sump pump with battery backup?? We had discussed replacing the existing sump pump! Then when he calls a supervisor this guy tells me he cant even come out to look at my basement for 2 weeks!!!! To just look at it!!! Not to fix it like they were supposed to do. And he tells me he's scheduling out 2 months! So that would place my service out to DECEMBER!!!! The guy couldn't even come out the same day to figure out what needs to be done! Then lies to me and tells me he's coming out Thursday so I let the guy that's there work and then he calls me a says he's not coming out until next week!!! I took off of work for this to happen and paid allot of money for this. Save your money!!!! Find a company that knows what their doing and communicates with their staff and customers.

Foreman Mike was very knowledgeable and kept me informed every step through the process. Crew was hard working, repesctful of our property and courteous. The cleanup they did when the job was complete was phenomenal. Ohio State Waterproofing is obviously concerned about maintaining a top-notch reputation as evedenced by the followup. Highly recommended.

The workers were very respectful and hardworking. The foreman, Ferrel, was very polite but should have informed me as what they were doing every step of the way which they did not. Before they started the job on July 1st, I had to call to ask why they were not here as scheduled to find out, somehow through the company my job was cancelled due to an error on the company's end. They were here the following day as they said they would be . The actual job issues I had were partially resolved: They have to come back in Sept. to seal the blacktop in my driveway, which I trust they will; when they did the actual work the first two weeks before the main job, the Easy Breathe was installed properly. While the workers were doing the main job, they broke the Easy Breathe outside vent. when I informed the company of this they were here in a sufficient amount of time and it was repaired. The man that did the installation at first, came back to repair it, was very professional, cordial, pleasant, polite, understanding and apologetic. The driveway could have been cleaned better as debris was left scattered; I had to have my plumber replace the drain to my laundry tub because they cut the drain instead of taking it apart , in which I was not informed; to there discretion, they took the easy way out. I was told maybe the company would compensate me for this. The overall waterproofing is adequate as far as I can tell . J.M. Alliance, Ohio

They waterproofed my basement in 2018. After the job was complete, there was still water coming up through a crack in the floor, due to a high water table. They came back and excavated another drain to connect to the perimeter drains. I am quite pleased to have a dry basement, and to know that the company honors their warranty.

We had our basement waterproofed in June of 2007 and we have had no problems at all. With all the rain we have had this year we are so glad that we have not had to worry about a wet basement . They came on time.They stay till the job was done.They did a great job.

Hard working crew! They worked their butts off for 5 long days. The crew was very professional. There were a few scratches and some residue on my freshly painted walls where they had to walk through my kitchen, but I was able to patch/touch up them pretty easy. We did run into a small plumbing problem that we had to pay $250 to fix before they could complete the job. That was a little frustrating, but we had to get it done. Overall the work looks good, and we are excited to be able to finish our basement now!

Their sawing of concrete caused my circuit breaker to shut off many times. Later I found that had caused damage to my garage door opener. I submitted the bill to Ohio State Waterproofing, which they reimbursed me for.

James and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Their arrival time each day was exact and work began immediately. Each morning I was greeted with smiles and an overview of what the dayâ s work would entail. I want to point out that I work from home full-time. However, my work was never disrupted. It was wonderful to be able to go about my day with no interruptions. At the end of each day, James provided us with an overview of all the work that was completed. He always asked if we had any questions, which was much appreciated. I never felt overwhelmed with information and he answered every question we had. Since moving into this home in August 2018, we were aware of previous water issues, but really had no idea of the severity until the first few rains. Throughout this process, James spoke to us about how our current water control/sump pump process was working and how it would be changed with the work they were doing. This knowledge was very helpful since we really didnâ t know what was going on under the floor and deck until they began work and took the time to explain and show it to us. I cannot stress to you enough how grateful we are that James worked directly with the city and inspector when determining where to run the pipes to. He handled all the phone calls and back and forth with the city. The inspector was very impressed with the quality of the work and so are we! I would expect random issues to occur during such a big process like this, but every potential issue was resolved immediately, properly communicated, and completed well within the estimated 3-5 days. After each day, the crew cleaned up their areas and even swept the protective covering on the floors. This entire process was non-invasive, and we thank you for that. Our lives were not disrupted in the slightest and it was a pleasure to host James and his crew in our home. Thank you for caring and understanding how terrifying water damage can be for first time homebuyers.

The forman ( James) was exceptional with being on time (early) with the men and directing them and all stayed busy.James had me inspect the work completed each day and answered every one of my questions with no hesitation, and for being so young, I was impressed with his knowledge of the job. All the men were so polite and respectful. There was one young man, new to the job (3 months) that was a go getter, I told him that he is with a doubt going to be moving up in this company. The job was complete in 5 days, just as quote.Clean up and all. Which had us amazed. To top it off, we had Ron come out yesterday just to inspect the work and see how we felt about the work and workers. I am very much impressed with this company. Highly recommend them.
